IN THIS VIDEO I GO I EXPLAIN THE COMPONENTS AND WHAT THEY DO ON ANY AIR COMPRESSOR THAT IS DESIGNED FOR HOME USE INCLUDING OIL FREE AND OILED. I GO OVER HOW TO DIAGNOSE AN OIL FREE AIR COMPRESSOR THAT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND THINGS YOU CAN CHECK. THEN I DO A COMPLETE REBUILD ON MY SEARS CRAFTSMAN 30 GALLON AIR COMPRESSOR INCLUDING THE PISTON RING, SLEEVE, REED PLATE, AND AIR FILTER.
I subscribed because you did it quickly and didn't waste any time, plus you show your mistakes. Great job.
Excellent video,I am going to be purchasing an oil free compressor soon and now feel confident I can rebuild it when necessary. I’ll purchase the rebuild kit for future use when I purchase the compressor.
Thanks! I've got one not kicking over that needs some love.
Thanks for the amazing video. I learned a lot just from this.
Thankyou for this video! I liked and subscribed. Very helpful.. something that might be helpful to your viewers.. Mention the size of the tools you are using I.e< 10 mm socket, t25 torx, etc... great job and thanks again
I just got one of these for free and it works but not 100%......after watching this is WILL be 100% soon. Thank You for making the video.
I have a 60 gal.6hp craftsman unit but am tired of the noise a slow filling and yes I’ve already fixed that once but want to turn my motor into a pulley drive to run a h.f.5 hp pump but the motor has a huge funky shaft and I can’t for the life of me see how you get the aluminum housing off w/out cutting it off and then probably have to make an arbor for the pulley
I’ve thought about doing that too.
I’m assuming yours is also a two cylinder?
good video
You’re definitely lucky.
With only a couple of threads left in there, it might’ve pulled the last couple of threads out with it.
