NB1500 fan and user (still). NB have gotta get their soles sorted out on these new shoes. First drop of rain and its like running on an ice rink. This looks familiarly slippery.

NB1500 were the best shoes EVER!! I held on to my last 3 pairs of them in sneaker boxes. Bring back the 1500, New Balance!!!

I just bought a pair, only because I can’t find a pair of 1400 in my size :( you should have kept the 10mm drop at least. It will have to do. But 5k-10k shoe is what I want.

@@filoreykjavik great time to question, I would not buy them again. I got the 1400 back out, they felt better with 125 miles on them than the super comp’s do with 25 miles. I got a pair of sauccony endorphin pro 3 and nike vaporfly 2. I like the vaporfly’s way better. Which feels like I went over to the dark side 😂. Both the bike and the sauccony have a lot more bounce, in comparison it’s like the super comps have none. Before I tried the others they felt bouncy, but by the time I got to the start line I stopped noticing it. So I got 5-6 races in the super comps, and have been using the vaporfly’s for two months now. I got really wide feet though, so I had to size up, where the super comps come in 2E. I’d definitely say the Nike’s make me faster, I never got that sensation in the super comp.

@@jonathanzappala OK thank you very much! It's very helpful as I'm looking for some racing shoes. Tbh I expected this light weight due to less foam would make SuperComps better for shorter distances than other shoes you mentioned, so I guess either Nike makes better carbon plates or the weight difference doesn't compensate enough the rest

The Pacer is definitely more race oriented than the rebel. It's lower to the ground, has narrower net bases, and an overall more aggressive design. Similar to what Danny talks about, it really takes the 1400 racing flat of previous generations and modernizes it with new foam and a carbon plate. -Connor

Is this shoe a prototype? The cut out in the sole is too big it will get things stuck in there the ventelation holes are nice on the upper just a bit too big they will rip very quickly laces aren't good the heel looks like your heel will easily slip out and the bottom is missing alot of quality rubber for grip that's definitely a problem I don't like the colour but I like the look of the shoe it has alot of potential hopefully the new balance SC pacer 2 is alot better and the Carbon fiber plate improves.

All of that for 150$ aka the most meaningless shoe you can buy for 150$. It even gets more pointless when you have shoes like Takumi Sen 8 which offers more durability, protection, and overall variety.
