- Hello hello!
I wanted to try out Procreate Dream a little bit this week so lets get into it! The video/audio of Neuvillette's lines are from my screen recording of the game so sorry there is a bit of a clicky at the beginning! I added a rain effect and the cartoon shaking noise to the audio as well!
So far I am super looking forward to continue using this for future small projects! :'D See you next time!

Ahhh the animation turned out so cute!! As someone who hasn't played Genshin though, I will say that it's very funny to me whenever I see one of those pretty boy characters who has a REALLY DEEEP VOIICEE
Anyway I hope to get procreate dreams at some point but I also don't use mobile to draw,.... I wish they would release it on PC, haha

I just got this app! very excited to try and get into animation a little bit more. I'm used to keyframe animation thanks to school so I hope this wont be too much of a learning curve

I made a kind of "vtuber" model on procreate dreams in 2 days 🥹 its a chibi one, but it was so simple and easy to do that I'm loving this app 🥰
Also when I was "rigging" my procreate dreams didn't crash many times (if was 2 times it was a lot, but there's an update on dreams already, maybe to fix some bug, so this might had helped 😅)
But like you say, there's a lot of tools in procreate that would help a lot in dreams, like select tool, I hope they can add this later, just like liquefy and curves ~ I love using them! 🥲🤌💕

wow your art is so good how do you do it! I wish I could draw as good as you!
I'm not rinspirit, but some ways you can improve on art is by using references. I have a mini mannequin on my desk that I use for references, it really helps lol. Another way is by simply watching and observing animation, like watching anime. and when drawing, it's good to focus on certain body portions instead of everything at once. my mom was an animator so she used these techniques. hope this helps ^^

About the saturation bug, could it be the blue transparent effect that you had on? The onion flip book effect that shows your previous frames, idk if it would mess with the color
not the colour slowly changing in saturation 😂😅thanks for mentioning this. Hope they can fix this asap!

Are you using a brush with weight or streamline. I’m curious if when animating it’s better to use monolingual brushes or brushes with weight?
I've seen other people saying they see crashes on the weaker/older ipads, i haven't had dreams crash at all on my m2 ipad pro, so i'm guessing they mostly tested it on pro ipads and will have to fix these bugs now more variety of devices being used
You can drag complete sets of brushes by just dragging the folder over
Animations I think of making
1: Dragon Worship.
An animation taking place in an advcanced medieval universe Where a 10 year old dragon loving boy named Ash leaving his home island because of his people and father hating and having a duty of slaying all dragons.
2: Ciro the cat.
A musical animated short about an adolescent Cat who has friends to help against his stress days even impressing Amber; a female red fox who he would develop a crush with.
3: Little Nightmares: Dark Horizons.
A miniseries following all 3 little nightmares games including very little nightmares focusing on a White masked and white hood caped Boy named Boo.
4: Cat, Dog and Fox.
A web series about 3 anthropomorphic animals best friends, A male calico cat, a male St. Bernard dog, and a female Red Fox. This would act as an anthropomorphic animal parody of Ed Edd n Eddy, an old Cartoon Network show.
5: Bat and Mouse.
An animated short or series about 2 best friends; a Male grey mouse and a female fruit bat.
6: Fan animations of my favorite Media characters

Did you feel limited using the program? Because your iPad is the 9th, right? Did it crash or become slow? It would be great to have a review, as I'm thinking about buying this iPad ❤
I dont feel limited due to the ipad! It crashed a fair amount but a lot of people have been having this issue on different models from what I know!
I want it now lol , I’m not sure I can have it in less than a month because I don’t want to bug my parents , ESPECIALLY because comic con is this week so I’m going to have basically ran out of most of my money
so separate track = new animation? and separate layer = line art vs colors or separate drawing??

Animate using flipbook is soo hard when it comes to coloring. I hope there is shortcut for that

How did you do the line work ? Am having a problem with getting a consistent line with the pressure sensitivity..plus whin I zoom in the brush changes sizes? Thank you
To get that anime look plus the shading part pls explain more
U need to color the frame from separate layer just use the layer as reference the. Drag and drop the color to fill it just like procreate
idk if i am blind but i cannot find any reference layer option for the layers nor on the tracks! IBut if you know where it is, please let me know! I know its an option on procreate but not sure about dreams yet!
Also for crashing it could be your iPad overheating while you use a strong program. Take it off the charger while you work on it.
It seems like other people are having an issue with crashing so I am not sure if its 100% linked with overheating! It crashed regardless if it was charging or not! but thank you for the input!!

hello madam, I wanted to buy iPad 9 for good notes, MS word, TH-cam and some browsing. maybe sometimes little gaming. do you think I can use this as its 3gb ram?
hello rin !! there is something id like to hear your opinion about! im a young artist just drawing and for me to improve i usually find a drawing another artist made so i draw it in my style! but i thin people will said im just copying others and that im not a creative mind with original drawings. what is your opinion?

I have iPad pro here. The app still crashes consistently. Hope the team fix it soon.
The colors getting more saturated is such a strange bug? Like I want to go back through some of my projects and see if that happened to me too

I just wanted to say that I believe the reason your app kept crashing is because the app is not really compatible with your iPad, the creators mentioned before that the app works smoothly with the newer iPads in the last 3 or 4 years. They said the older iPad don't have the software and strength to manage and function with procreate dreams. I don't know what iPad you have, but if the crashing is to much for you or it gets worse I would say to get or use atleast the iPad air 5th generation. It's one of the oldest iPad that still works with DREAMS if you don't want to upgrade to much (Everyone has their preferences) just know that if u do upgrade to atleast the 5th generation Air, you will have to get the Apple pencil 2nd generation to use a apple pencil. I hope this helps atleast someone! 😊🎉❤

Here's a tip for you if you ever have trouble keeping colors consistent. When choosing colors if you look at the very bottom of thr menu bar you'll see a tab that says Value. You having trouble keeping the mouth colors the same you could go to the value tab and look at the number code to check and see if it's the exact same. I use this alot for keeping colors on my characters consistent. And I would assume this can be the case for Procreate dreams since the interface is the same . Hopefully this helps if you didn't know! 😊
Its true that keeping a colour palette will make it the most consistent and also probably more efficient! I do more digital painting so I colour pick and use colour history sometimes! So if the colour history is not consistent. and is not a deliberate feature, then I do hope that is fixed in the future! I know Procreate never had this issue before! But thank you for the input! I appreciate it!!
@Rinspiritart You're very welcome! It was something I accidently discovered when making my comic and I noticed each color had its own number code when I looked it up. So any OC I've made is in a notebook with random number codes to everything on them. Including the shading and highlights when rendering. I never see anyone talk about it and it's honestly the best way to keep your colors consistent when working. At least to me it is 😅
The opacity of the brush is also a reason I run into sometimes so that can be something to check as well

Procreate Dreams will get everything fixed eventually, but they will make the price higher, toonsquid is better for now. If you have the financial possiblity, you should buy Dreams while it's 20 bucks

In a fast paced world we have no time for full sentences anymore it seems, when I read the title in the thumbnail image, with certain words missing, my brain goes into interpretation mode, how can this sentence be understood, and then it can only lead to misunderstandings. I wonder why we don’t have time to write and read a full coherent sentence anymore.
