Hey awesome video! I have a dessert company of 2 1/2 years. I just wanted to add the hobby lobby white is better especially for those who are beginners. The Wilton will make your candy crunchy and gritty textured and you won’t be able to use. Being an art major and working with different paints etc. i am a treat maker now and I was going to say the way to get the bright color with hobby lobby’s white is you have to add it first by itself funny stir it in until your candy is bright white, so the color isn’t translucent then you will add the color you want second and completely stir in. If you mix then together it will make this Greyish color no matter what color you use. I only use hobby lobby and treats and extremely vibrant.
I would love to get some information from you. I'm starting a home based dessert business but not doing anything too serious but I would love some advice
My husband has been watching tik tok reaction videos and salivating but no luck getting it shipped. 😫🙄 so here I am , going to make them for him so he can have his own reaction. Your video is excellent.
Thank you for this i am a treat owner in Memphis and I notice when I make my pineapples they don’t do right because I don’t let them freeze for a hr in the freezer
Do the treats stay in the freezer or fridge after dipping until Customer comes? What instructions do you give customers like do they need to set them out for an hour to eat?
I’ll answer for you, you can but them in either the freezer or fridge depending on what texture grapes you’re looking for. Freezer can last for days up to a week. Now I’m not sure about fridge bc ppl I know prefer frozen grapes.
I make candy grapes and candy pineapples but i recently stopped cause i can't deal with making only one flavor at a time. It's time consuming and I'm impatient. Is there a way i can make more than one flavor at a time? Like if a customer order more than one flavor i would make strawberry and then wash the pot and make the next flavor.
You have to set the tone for your customers. You allow.the amount of flavors per order. For example. I have a set base flavor and allow up to 2-3 coatings per sampler tray.
This stuff looks good. In some videos you said that you sold some to customers. But I see no online store linked to your youtube. How would I purchase them from u?
You want to remove it completely from the heat once it reach 300° when your candy gets thick, you can place it back on medium low heat to loosen it back up ♥️
I freeze my pineapples after dipping. They break down a little, but I can get at least a 2- 3 day shelf life. I also cook my candy a little longer. It doesn't burn, but it lasts longer.
How long do you have to dip before the candy needs to be re heated? Also will the pineapple only last a night in the fridge but longer in the freezer? 🤔
I’ve never kept pineapples overnight. They definitely break down fast because of the moisture. I make them same day of delivery to ensure maximum freshness
Hello I wanted to know after the pineapple is done and you want to add candy what is the process of melting it to get that on ??? And I mean like the nerds or jolly ranchers ??
I have used this same recipe for grapes and pineapples and for both they break down and the candy coating starts melting off within an hour anyone have an answer for this??? Could it be not letting them cool for a full 45 minutes, could it be packaging them to soon and throwing them in the freezer? I am puzzled because iv made them several times now same recipe and there melting so fast!!
THIS WOULD BE AN AMAZING CANDY RESTAURANT! That way just like when you go out for ice cream or cupcakes instead you can have candied fruit and treats!
That would be a dream!

Question! Do you have the heat on for the candy mixture as you dip the pineapple? Does it harden fast after it’s taken off the heat?
You want to remove it completely from the heat once it reach 300° when your candy gets thick, you can place it back on medium low heat to loosen it back up ♥️
I tried doing this and i dont know why my candy mixture hardened fast i only got to make like 4 grapes ☹️
Do these along with strawberries and pickles go in freezer afterwards?

My candy mixture starts hardening quickly. I have to move very fast. You just take your time…what am I doing wrong?

Why do my candy stick to the parchment paper
U gotta oil up a pan or oil up yo parchment paper😂😂😂
Omg the way I would have dipped my hand in the pot NOT EVEN THINKING!!! Smh
Use a skewer stick
I prefer not to ❤️ I've definitely tried the skewer stick but would always crack the candy when pulling it out to package
girl what’s the measurements 😂😢
4 cups of sugar
3 cups of water
1 cup of karo syrup
Freeze the pineapples first.
She did that. Did you even watch the video?
