I tried all the different circles floor mats. In the end I use scoop chairs. They are small plastic chair seats that sit on the floor. They can stack in the closet when we are done. I couldn’t find a calendar I liked. I tried several. I just made my own with Velcro removal pieces. I bought some posters, Days of week, month, and weather. I hang one and cut one up and add a Velcro dot on it. When we sing the days of the week a child will place the day on the poster. We do this with each poster. I also take photos of the children each month in an activity photo and place it on our photo wall. When they are removed they are placed in a photo book and added to our library. The children love to look at themselves. At Christmas time I use the photos in a scrapbook form and give it to the parents for a gift. I love your teaching methods.
As an educator I would love to hear your thoughts on this video I just made "5 Little Ducks - Bobby's Backyard - SONGS" I would appreciate any advice you would be willing to give! thank you!!
I have 13_children in my classroom usually I start circle time at 9am I sit them on colors blocks carpet with the Abc's on it. I have 3 out of ten that won't listen. Please help!
I’m thinking about retooling my circle time. Giving me great ideas
All you need are the square plastic mats in various colors and teach them not to move the mats. I NEVER have a problem with seating at CT! 🤷🏽♀️
First time here. However, information is excellent. Thanks to Allison, and all the information is great.
