1 year old video but it still came in handy to help me decide. I recently purchased a version of this knife. I was fortunate enough to find an Extrema Ratio Misericordia Black Warfare edition. There are still a few of them available at various online knife dealers. Of course, I would have been just as happy with the standard Misericordia. I had been in the market for this style of a knife for a while and after seriously considering the Benchmade SOCP, and the Halfbreed Blades CCK-01XL Compact Clearance knife, I chose the Misericordia. It fits the hand nicely and the overall design is very well thought out.
'A misericord, a thin-bladed dagger, used in the Middle Ages to give the death wound or mercy stroke to a fallen adversary.' - mainly defeated knights as it would go smoothly in between the plates of their armour.
Thanks a lot for that information brother, I had no clue about that. Sounds really macabre on one side but merciful at the same time. Really appreciate you sharing this and thanks for the support!🤜🤛
@@DoAnythingOutdoor Im italian, misericordia is a religious word that means mercy, it refers to the knife mentioned before, used to finish off those unable to survive on the battlefield in the 400'/500'
I wear it under the molle to on my shoulder straps but I've kept it like this since it was faster and the same as on the official release video from @extremaratio
The edges of the ring are definitely comfortable and you can either put your thumb, index or pinkie in there. I'm just not a marshal artist so didn't want to look stupid by trying😂
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. Yes the position of the thumb release is switchable so it would not be a problem what side or hand you want to draw with!
As an avid knife guy I would love to see the cutting practice on bass wood simple to see cut quality after making a material removal cut if the Cut surface is smooth and shiny then it's as sharp as a final honed carving knife which means to any level of experience person to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if you have an accident with this tool that you're not going to feel it and it will be bad with a high possibility of being very bad just a good thing for a man to know about his tools and not for nothing paw paw swore by this ( So it's been said 😅)
This knife, tho it is sharp won't get anywhere as sharp as a carving knife. This is designed more to be a stabbing tool and yes it will carve wood, and you could cut yourself with it,but I doubt it would be a cut that you don't feel immediately.

I think the sheath is supposed to slide under the molle webbing

Love the "This is just to show etc."😂
Yeah I'd definitely mount it upside down on one of the shoulder straps if I'd be in the field and it would be the last resort I'd depend on😉
Cool little knife
@@gf2390 totally agree goes great with any tactical kit!
Just ordered mine today
The hole is uncomfortable or why you didn't put your pinkie on it

Great review! Would you still be able to activate the thumb release if drawn in a reverse grip?
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback.

the extrema ratzio
Troppo costosa e un acciaio mediocre.forse come coltello da lancio ma come arma d.assalto..meglio un Applegate dagger
Nice review do about amf desert and supressor
Is a Copy of bechmade socp
🤔
