What brand is that boonie hat? Looks like the UFPro one.
@@davidgreatestkingofisrael1181 the complete setup is ufpro it's the gen2 boonie pants and shirt are gen2 striker series
1 year old video but it still came in handy to help me decide. I recently purchased a version of this knife. I was fortunate enough to find an Extrema Ratio Misericordia Black Warfare edition. There are still a few of them available at various online knife dealers. Of course, I would have been just as happy with the standard Misericordia. I had been in the market for this style of a knife for a while and after seriously considering the Benchmade SOCP, and the Halfbreed Blades CCK-01XL Compact Clearance knife, I chose the Misericordia. It fits the hand nicely and the overall design is very well thought out.

What is the difference between the Selvans and the Selvans Expedition???
@@Mugwumps107 hi there thnx for the question the expedition series all come in the desert handle and dark stone finish"normal selvans is black/green if I'm correct" and the expeditions have a pouch on their sheath that has some paracord with different filaments,a firesteel scraper and a firesteel on the pouch. For the rest both versions have molle compatible sheaths and don't differ in dimensions apart from the color they are practically the same. I like the looks of the expedition series a lot but that's all personal preference

did your mechanism have to break it a bit? Mine feels kinda rough to disengage and I have to pinch it with two fingers pretty hard. I wonder if it will smoothen out with use.
It was a bit tight to flip open in the beginning and I understand what you mean with the locking mechanism. It's easy for me to operate the locking mechanism with one hand now and also to close it give it some time or just try some silicone or balistol oil

It's a great, modernized khukuri. I wish they kept more of the traditional handle flare out the pommel, though.
Yeah that could have been an option but I think they had the extra leverage in mind by prolonging the handle like that

Maybe it's the same as why people spend 1000s of dollars to play games behind their computer screen..hobby,love for the gear making things look realistic etc and airsoft is great training both mentally and physically so why not train in cool gear😎

Yeah I think this is what makes this a usful knife not just because you can treat it hard in the bush but one can actually prepare meals with it around camp or indeed in the kitchen as @DoAnythingOutdoor just mentioned.
