- Honda finally updated the rincon but definitely not what we expected. I can’t stand when a company lies this bad about an atv.

Rockin 19300km on my 2012 Rincon and 770 engine hours and it’s still going strong
Oh it’s not that they ain’t reliable it’s that they are geared way to high making it bog anytime you do anything other then trail riding

I totally agree about Honda not upgrading things ever and not really releasing anything in 20 years cause my buddy has a Rincon 650 and it was barely any better than his 98 foreman the only things were the hondamatic and the selectable 4 wheel drive but other than that they did basically the same in the mud and the power difference wasn't really much to be desired

In canada it has been confired 3 speed, no transmission, no diff lock same old technology as the rincon but the plastics are now the same as the rubicon. Shame on honda. I will not be buying another honda at this point
I am shocked, everything’s the same since 2006-03?? 20 years and your paying top dollar, 14k in Canada I got my 850 dps for that, had a rincon there ok but they need ps more ccs

I have a 680 rincon and it has been the best bike I have ever had. I have tracks for it. It's a fantastic trail bike and I do pull alot of wood with it. I do not mud with it and it is in a heated shop. I lov the combination of things I can do with it. Yes, very reliable. I would buy another one but in canada they do not sell the 680 any more. You are very much correct that honda is bullshit when it comes to upgrading to a bigger bike. I don't get it? We all would be in line if they made something above the 850 point! I have found info on the new 700 coming out in canada and at this point honda has done nothing. It's bullshit, and that is coming from a honda fanatic. Keep making your videos and informing everyone. Why does honda keep underdeveloped like this? I just don't get it.

W Honda 6x6 I’ve owned a 650 and still have a 06 680 BRGR and 28” backs this has got to be the biggest disappointment by far with Honda I’ve waited all these years just for them to give it a face lift and some bumpers that’s garbage asf but I do love how everyone downs the Ole Rinny so much 😅 it’s just not built for “Everybody” LOL ya better off with the ole 6x6 Hondas headed downward like a submarine ggs!

I had a 06 rubicon 500 and it was junk if they go to the same transmission that the old rubicon I had it would have a hard time finding it’s gear it would have no start in gear feature witch means you can get stuck in gear and not be able to start it the three speed believe it or not is better because it doesn’t have a hard time finding it’s gear and has more sporty capability and actually it is good in the mud I’ve seen people play in the mud with them and they do walk pretty good I do hope the same transmission it has now does get a low range and five gears because the one my old rubicon had was junk I do hope they make a v twin version I think eventually they will they just need to modify the transmission it has with more gears and a low range but it does surprisingly good in the mud even without the low range it’s not much of a work machine though I would gladly buy one they are quite nice but if you want to play in mud with it just add some good tires and it will do surprisingly well it is a great bike it’ll be good for work or play if they just lower the gear ratios then it probably won’t need a low range as long as they don’t lower it too much it does now come with better tires and it’s still way cheaper than the rubicon 520 I’m still thinking about getting one eventually but by the time I’m ready they might have a 1000 with the same engine as the pioneer with a low range and a park gear and the same transmission as the pioneer and have a gated shifter or like I said modify the transmission it has so it’s not a crap transmission like the old rubicon did give Honda time they may be way behind the competition but I do think a 1000 is on the way hopefully soon and hopefully they offer it with a cheaper price than the competition then they will sell like hotcakes give them some time they will eventually make a 1000
I hope they make a 1k but I don’t think they have anything down the pipe line they are a very boring company
@@CAROLINARUTCUTTERZ my dream atv is the arctic cat 650 v2 and I found a bunch of them in mint condition on marketplace that’s probably what I’ll go for there will probably be a lot of them still available because they are carberated so nobody wants that I don’t mind it so I might be able to get my dream atv when the time comes I love the sound of a twin especially a Kawasaki v twin I would definitely get a slip on muffler with less restrictions so that it’s nice and loud it’ll echo for miles I won’t be in deep water with it but it will see trails and mud and my neighbors ride around my neighborhood so I’ll do it too bet my atv will sound better as much as I like the rincon the arctic cat 650 v2 is way better
@@kirbyvanduzer6565 yeah I’ve always wanted the mud pro 1k but I’ve heard horror stories about them so unless I get one for cheap ima stay away but it’s funny how many different engine companies Arctic cat has used over the years
@@CAROLINARUTCUTTERZ the 650 v2 uses a Kawasaki engine and transmission the mud pro isn’t bad but they aren’t good trail bikes the 650 v2 is awesome in the trails and does better in the mud then the brute force and the sound of that Kawasaki v twin is amazing especially when you have the right exhaust the 650 V 2 was around from 04 to 06 so it was only around for three years but it was way better than the 650 h1 don’t get me wrong the h1 wasn’t bad it just had a hard time finding it’s gear the 650 v2 never had that problem and they had the same gear shifter
I have the 01 Rubicon & I wouldn’t call it junk because I don’t mud with it. I’ll go trail riding a couple times a year & use it mostly for plowing snow for a bunch of neighbors. Never let me down but now I’m older I would like IRS. A front locker & power steering would be nice.
The rincon/700 rubicon still sucks.
If they'd give it a 5 speed or high/low range with the 3 speed it'd fine.
As is you are stuck with 25-26 inch stock like trail tires, with aggressive tires it'll just bog out with the tall gearing.
Yeah I’ve always hated the rincon because of being geared so high my buddy had one and my 300 could turn bigger tires then him

Apparently honda does not have power stering and diff lock on this new 700???? Wtf. Honda needs to give there heads a shake. Who is leading honda. I understand about reliability up honda has dropped the ball and this coming from the greatest honda fan who has everything honda. I just dont get it?????

it’s 675cc that’s only 25cc difference. It stills counts as a 700 right? -Honda engineers somewhere
They are both 675 lol you can call it a 700 it’s the fact they said it was a different engine and didn’t change anything lol

Yeah the only reason Honda ever had a reliable atv was because of how weak it was lol and as soon as the made the 1k it showed that they couldn’t make anything over 30 hp lol
