U have exactly the same symptoms, this is brilliant, thought I might have too change my alternator, this could save me a whole load of time and money, many thanks.
Update - mine had a corroded pin on the connector- the one the white wore goes to. I had to take the bcm apart and solder a wire on but my car now works perfectly. At first the error went away but alternator voltage stayed at 13.7. I reset the bms and registered the battery as new, it now charges at 14.8. Thanks Alex, brilliant stuff.
