I had a flashback seeing that truck. During Desert Storm we “acquired” vehicles similar to these and used them to transport equipment, food, and water to the troops. Put two 6’, 200 lb plus guys with all their gear on in the cab, get it up to 40 mph and jam on the brakes and we could stand them up on their nose.

if you dont know: there is a safety prop for working with the bed tilted, if one of the china hydraulic lines burst the bed comes down like a guillotine, its not just for servicing the ram.

I use to have one of those mini trucks!!! Mine was from Japan. We used that little truck to feed all the animals on our ranch. Coolest little truck ever!!! Especially since mine was right hand drive 😂

Can I just say I would love to be Rhino Ranch Security. Protect the ranch and chill with the animals. Not to mention the guard shack is going to be amazing, and the security truck!!
Put a lightbar on it and some strobes then park it by the guard shack.
At first i was like "eh" but the more i see the features of that thing that little truck is actually pretty rad! I'd tint all the windows on it (even the windshield) and then put lightbars everywhere and a loud sound system lol
My bosses dad has a right hand drive 4wd daihatsu mini truck up on his mountain and it’s some what lifted with atv tires and that thing is fun as hell to drive around. Super excited to see what y’all do with it! 🤙🏼

That mini truck is a GM owned company. I used to work for a company called vantage vehicle international in Corona ca that has a bunch of these and newer trucks. They have electric conversion kits as well.
They sell lift kits for the mini trucks! Then get some meaty four wheeler tires! Perfect ranch truck!
The more I look at it it looks like the company I worked for built it. We did dump beds, camera installs, radios, lighting.

Out here in Japan we call them a “bongo” but multiple manufacturers produce them with various names like Daihatsu Hi-jet and Suzuki carry that are equipped with a 3cyl 5spd/auto and the heavier-duty ones (Toyota 7400s) come typically diesel w/5sd Drw
I bunch some tie down chains in front of the ramps for solid tire things, it bridges the height, smoothing out the difference.

Next time the ramps are too steep take the air out of the trailer tires and jack the tongue up on blocks it lowers the back end of the trailer a lot.

The Japanese version of that truck is a Honda Acty and they are amazing. They come right hand drive with 5 speed transmission
If you go onto mighty Karmont channel they have a mini truck similar I don’t remember the brand but they listed in a little bit and put some little like wheels and off-road tires on it and it looks pretty dope so I figured maybe the brand that they got for the lift and stuff might work
In South Korea all you see are those mini trucks. The ones there are mainly made by Kia and called Kia Bongo. “Bongo trucks” all over there!

The dump bed is probably worth more than the rest of the truck even with with rust. A japanese one in decent shape that is roadworthy goes for about $6K in Virginia.
