I love how it all starts as a scale model. That's amazing
This is clearly a road trip destination. Absolutely stunning Max!
Thank you so much! You should absolutely add the Mission to your next California road trip! 😃
Very enjoyable conclusion to the project
I’m so honored! Thank you!
Oh wow the tree looks stunning! I would love to see this in person one day
Thank you! You can go visit the Mission! They are open to the public most days!!
Since the start we have been able to see it piece by piece. Wonderful to see the whole process together. 👏
Thank you for joining me on this journey friend!
It's phenomenal artwork that I'm so happy to have seen finished now, been hooked on this one. The artist is just as phenomenal as the artwork. Thank you for sharing.
That means so much to me!! I really appreciate that!
Now put a tree house in there so i can move in. 😂 great work i know this video does it no justice.
Ha! I appreciate that buddy!
For some reason, I expected you to fill the round spot on the trunk with a large, flat crystal. Beautiful work. I love it dude.
Thank you! So glad you like it!
This is incredible. I haven’t had as moving of an experience since “birth of a wooden house”, another god-tier YT video that chronicles a long term build. Absolutely fantastic craftsmanship, makes me want to branch out (pun intended) into metalworking from woodworking
A great pun 😂 and you should! Go play around with some wood and metal!!
Dude, the inspiration I’m getting from this is off the charts!!!! Incredible job man!! The camera work and music is so on point. I love it all!!!
Thank you so much Justin! I’m so glad it’s resonating with you!!

Amazing work as always sir. I am sure the video does not do it justice on how beautiful it is.
You are too kind! Thank you!
It is truly magnificent. It really astounds me how it was possible for you to create this on your own.
All the best from Germany
Wow all the way from Germany! Thank you so much!
Amazing✨️🙌

Amazing
Thank you so much!!
Cest vraiment vraiment magnifique
Thank you so much!
Well done, sir!
I remember you telling me that the leaves all have something stamped on them, but I just don't remember what...
Many of the leaves had donor names stamped on them, to honor the donors who helped fund the retrofit of the Mission.
Loving the work brother
Thank you so much!
@@Max_Randolph_Studios of course!
This looks beatiful. It's wonderful to see the whole proces like this. It's a beautiful sculpture you made, majestic! And this film is also so well made! The shot's are amazing the music so calming.
Will you ever share with us what the tree looks and sounds like, when there's wind?
I’m so glad you enjoyed this video! I will capture the sound of the leaves for you next time I visit the Mission!
@@Max_Randolph_Studios I'm so looking forward to it! 😊
Dropped off the radar...(I'm back now: ) outstanding as always Max!! for a second, I though you were making it for the front of your business, and the names were for the Patreon/TH-cam members :0..then I watched further...even better!
Oh that would be awesome! I rarely get to make things for myself.
It feels wrong to say becuase surely it feels basic or over done, but at the same time my love for blades and edges make me long to see what kind of knives and axes and hatchets and hammers you'd create, not only are you extremely talented and creative but you look like you should be forging some power weapon for some greek god lol.
Haha I appreciate that! A decade ago I used to forge tons of blades! Maybe if a movie coming out has a really cool blade I’ll create it!
Mate that has to be the best thing I have seen made on U TUBE yet Absolutely Amazing Sir , Thank you for sharing . Cheers from Australia .😄👍🤠.
That means so much to me! Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
I just started my metalsmith journey this past fall and your projects give me so much hope and inspiration for my work to improve as I recognize how the skills I’m learning and practicing are reflected in your mastery of metal.
What type of welding did you use to apply the little loops for the leaves to hang?
I’m so excited for your journey! I created the tree by using 7018 stick welding! Normally it would be mig, but the wind would have blown my shielding gas away
