Love the new look. We just added new house pendants to our building from Pro Church Lights. The difference is night and day. So appreciate your videos and thoughts, Ryland!
As always great video. Super helpful. Thank you. I would actually really appreciate a comparison to the ADJs.🤩 Usually I wouldn’t comment on something like that, but fixture it’s so obviously in frame in 2:57 : There is no point in having a safety cable if you do not use the safety eyelet on the light.
Thanks for the video! Do you like the color wash for the in person experience well? I've considered adding wash to our room to enhance what we're already doing with stage lighting/colors.
Any comparison to the Shehds RGB Marquee? I tried one of those and didn’t like the light output. On paper, it’s brighter than yours, but on your videos, yours look brighter.
What I've seen with LEDs is that when there is a chance of them developing significant heat is when they are turned up all the way and the heat is trapped. I was working on a an LED strip, one time, and I wasn't thinking much about it, so I had my hand resting on the strip. I didn't burn myself, but it got hot enough that I felt the need to pull my hand away. It would be very unlikely for a black folder to catch fire with the way you have it attached. If it were used to completely block the light, there might be an issue.
What do these look like to the human eye from a distance? Just curious how visible each individual pixel is if you were to use them as blinders/effect lights or if they kind of blend together?
I'd say the example footage in the video is pretty representative where it shows pixel effects. The further you are from the light the more the effect will blend together. There is no frost or diffusion.
@@RylandRussell Thanks brother, we use Jands as well but I find it too complicated to create a profile for a new fixture. are you on Instagram? if so I can connect with you there to get the profile. Thanks so much
36' feet wide. Subjects are only about 12 feet from lights at 45 degrees. We have slimpar pro Ws and they are not bright enough. Considered using those on outside wash and color matching those with some lights for middle zone of stage? We have about 4k for this additional lighting. Thanks
These just ran out of stock 😂 Anything comparable you know of for a similar price? Looking for a super wide and bright wash to use on an overhead sheet for a worship in the round type of thing.
Thanks Ryland. I think even just getting house lights at the same color temperature as stage lights is a major move. I couldn’t even convince my facilities team to do that. Our problem was always that we had nasty orange house lights that did not even remotely match the stage wash.
@@RylandRussellRyland, you are such an inspiration with the way you always approach tings with small budgets in mind. For years I was facing an uphill battle on upgrading even the simplest things during my recent tenure as a production director. The leadership did not want to do anything to invest in the live stream. I understand it, to a point. But...how is a guy supposed to stay motivated when during the normal course of maintenance, they are not willing to simply change the temperature of the house lights. Creatives need the ability to change and improve things. Not trying to start a rant with a bunch of negative vibes, rather trying to say how much I appreciate your approach. I love how you solve problems. Keep up the great work!

I would love to see an ADJ Jolt comparison!

Good catch 👍 I actually went back and fixed that one as my helper had done that safety cable and I noticed the same thing!
Great video, I'm a fan of the WashFX series from Chauvet, but $100 is tough to beat!
하우스 라이트 문제를 시원하게 해결해 주셨네요...
영상 잘보고 있습니다. 감사합니다.

Yes it’s nice!
Out of curiosity how do they look as a wall wash? Do the LED’s mix well when using cyan, purples, and yellows? Or can you see the individual colors?
These would work really well as a wall wash pointed at the wall. IMO
Love your humor Ryland. This is so helpful. Thanks.
LOL, you may be alone in that according to my children :)

I haven’t tried those, but I think those have a fan so I ruled them out unless I’m mistaken
@@RylandRussell Yes, you’re correct about that. Just trying to find out if the Oppsk ones will work out better.
Love your lighting videos we’ve saved thousands at church!!!

hey, great video again. what about the fixture profile? and what do you use to run your DMX lights? thanks
I made a 6 channel in Jands I can share. Super simple to do.

YES MAKE A COMPARISON
Thanks for the videos! How would these work as house lights if you had enough set up?
I mean they would work, but you wouldn’t have warm white which is more typical for house lights.
Thanks!@@RylandRussell
Could you do a review of the chauvet 255ircs?
I should sometime! We've had them the longest of any of our intelligent lights.
@@RylandRussell yes we just got some chauvet intimidator 350s!
Please do a comparison!! would love to see it against ADJ Jolt!!
That intro 😂😂😂
Lol, those oppsk light look great, but they never seem to be in stock
Wow! Maybe try their website. They were recently in stock on Amazon but I see they are out again ☹️
What would you suggest for front stage wash variable white without fans or fans that are quiet for the preaching?
How far away? How wide of stage? Budget?

Yo if you can sacrifice some output...you could ABSOLUTELY just gaff some diffusion filters to them!
Ya I've done that before with a little DIY. Not a bad idea.
Man got to chk it out.
we want the comparison. 🥹❤️
