The only time they tried to make matt merch was a "kick Matt" shirt and he threatened to quit over it, he hated the joke, because at that point even some of the community was starting to use it as an excuse to bully him. It was kind of like what happened to Mila Kunis when she started voicing meg on Family Guy
I can see that. I mean, considering for the too longest time, Matt was always the punching bag for no reason, and not in the same way that Gavin was in the near beginning. From the Myatt, to moonballs, to literally getting like a depressing scene in the AH musical or whatever. Like, it started as funny, seemed like friendly banter, like they did Gavin, but it just went on for far too long. But now AH is dead, and Matt is free and with much better people.
The dynamic of this group is so good. Naggz is perpetually annoyed by Chibi's little sister energy, but still also shares a braincell with her. Ray is the responsible dad who tries to get everything done while he drags his kids along, and Matt is the fun uncle that everyone gets along with.
They feel like a spiritual successor to AH. It’s great they can collaborate but they still hold the power to their own businesses so there’s a balance of power there

The group chemistry made it land, but when it came to a person per person funny (which is subjective, I know) I always found Ray the funniest and would root for him cause he'd always perform the best. Remember GO #50? He demolished the crew! Anytime it was Lads vs Gents, Ray would carry the lads on his back 50% Michael would be 40% and Gavin 10%. He was just that guy XD
Ray's chemistry with the OG AH crew was solid from the beginning. Plus, his dead pan humor, at times, were always funny. Ray, to me, knew how to break the ice at times with his humor even times he makes a joke that would be overlooked and yet lots of people in the comments would pick up on it and find it hilarious.

Hope you guys get to fully experience the two mansion planets next time. The jack in the box pretty much appear on those two planets especially on Titan. And the ghost girl as well which is... pretty terrifying. Though nothing beats the jack in the box or the Bracken in the scare factor. The Bracken is like psychological horror while the box is pure nightmare fuel. Edit: Also, if you guys have been to the mansion planets (or stepped inside one and then do another run a bit later. I'm not sure which if anyone else can fact check this) and then go the the beginner planets, there is a small chance for the mansion to appear in those instead of the same old bunkers. Learned this little fact from watching Zen, Henya, and co.
I really really wish someone would make a mega compilation of the funny moments of them playing this game, but I realize it would probably be 18 hours long. Every part is just gold. I've seen other streamers go hard and really wanting to try to dominate this game and it takes a lot of the fun out of it. Just seeing these guys relaxed and enjoying themselves while still keeping the game going is amazing. It brings back memories of when AH was just like friends hanging out having a good time and vibing. I'm so happy they're doing better and seem to be finally happy again.
This group never fails to make me laugh, whether it’s from Chibi doing something or arguing with Naggz to Matt and Ray making funny jokes. I hope Ray either asks Chilled to teach Chibi how to use Dolphin or something because I want the Mario Party games to continue sometime

this game is so simple and yet just so watchable. the casualness makes for such fun goofing around times, with the occasional burst of scares and frantic energy.
I'm usually not into these types of games or ones with integrated proximity chat (streamers tend to have the audio poorly mixed so you can't hear the people when they can), but this game with this crew? Can't get enough. Hope we get a few more episodes of it before it stops being hot.

Watching Nagzz fall apart on Ray was tough. Really reinforces the idea that the only reliable due in the group is the former AH boys. Chibi is the chaotic lucky one, and Nagzz is an antagonizing/reassuring jenga tower. Ray is the GOAT with poor sense of direction and Matt generally knows where he’s going, but is the definatly the most unlucky in the squad.
