@TRDJon agree. However, I think toyota has a massive price increase on the trucks. It's backfiring. Tundra, tacoma, land cruisers, and soon to be 6th gen 4runners are selling up to 10k below msrp. Which shows they overpriced them. Reliability is iffy now. Price retention likely will hurt long term. Love toyota, but they have lost the way. Chasing big 3 American brands in terms of pricing is not the toyota way. When was last time? Did anyone hear of yota trucks piling up with thousands of trunk cash. Anecdotal data only, but in the last week I have seen a ton of new Tacomas driving around with temp tags in SE Texas. I went by my local dealer a few weeks ago and they had probably about 25+ Tacomas on the lot. Went by yesterday and they had less than half that amount. I’m guessing that the prices on the 24’s are starting to fall to make room for the 25’s. I also think that the difficulty in selling these trucks has zero to do with the turbo 4 and almost everything to do with the high prices. Bring the price down, and these Tacomas will fly off the lots again.
