You're right! It's a topic of debate, but I've seen way more elemental husks in these missions, though the faster healing of wood walls is a nice thing to consider.
way easier way to jail atm takes about 2 min to setup for rtd. 4 walls around it 2 high. floors around outside, aa traps on the edges and freeze traps on the middle floor sections. 4 sound walls on outside with building health perk, 4 spike traps on inside with healing attached perk. drop balloon, drop base at top level floor sit and afk
After today's update I checked and the "glitch" that uses dropped items like weapons and consumables around the objective like an untrepasaple barrier 🚧 still works. I made 2 videos covering it. Think it's the easiest and cheapest Stall build method so far. Jailing like you mentioned sounds effective, I'll give it a try 👍
@@auudiowolf yea but the nerf to how many coconuts you can carry ruined that method and takes the entire time the balloon takes to land to set up using ammo. Coconuts worked good but you still had to kill smashers and flingers so not afk and still took way longer to setup. Using weapons can be fast like the coconuts where but even then you have to build and have a base down to stop smashers and flingers
@@firepon3638 Yes, that coconut nerf was suspicios. Maybe next update weapons wont work for the glitch. Smashers are not an issue. Flingers definitely are and mess up the AFK part.

@@atmhesus Effectively, metal can be the go to material for any mission, except for nature storms. One thing though is that here we had a bunch of basic husks inside the jail at times, granted far less than elemental ones.
The issue is that you really on not killing any husks besides smashers and flingers for easier husks spawns. And many people don't like this play style as well. I mean you can agree in chat as soon as the mission starts that you'll run this build, but everyone would need to agree, which rarely happens. And you'll most likely be pissing off your public team.

I've heard it's still better to use metal cause metal curossion is only caused by non elementals.

Good. Just for high level zones consider using a the building materials that fit the storm modifiers: brick in nature storms. Metal in water storms

Yup. My bad I keept those perks when back in the day we could push smashers with wall and floor launchers. A reload perk should also do fine 👍

@@auudiowolfOk keep in mind that Metal Corrosion only activates when Basic, skinny Husks hit your walls. Not from every enemy.
