Painted miniatures have better dice rolls. Its science.
Hasn’t worked out for me yet. But I’ll send all data to the boys in the lab. Wait, I mean I’ll tell my lab, Toby, all about my rolls.
Unless that model has a melta or any single shot weapon you really, really, need that turn.
One thing to note Crescent Hawks went through Jihad then came back in Dark Age. Ohh and they have a Mad Cat in Jihad. Spotlight on the Crescent Hawks is a few bucks for digital only from Catalyst and has their canon army lists for each era.
Just a hint for anyone who might read it: to straighten bent parts like that cannon, soak them in hot water (keep it a bit longer than you think you have to, make sure plastic is malleable all the way through) and cool it off in cold water (with ice cubes in it) and importantly repeat it a few times.

Hmm a crescent hawk scheme on the marauder certainly looks like the glaug command pod it shares design with!

@@ProbableKoz looking forward to seeing them! Sadly it seems I've just missed out on the kickstarter but I've ordered the clan invasion box set, game of armored combat, striker star and battle lance boxes respectively. Really can't wait to get that all painted up.
Fantastic! I've been looking forward to this since you first teased it a few weeks ago. Wonderful paint job and I'd love to see your Crescent Hawks on the table if you ever get the chance to do some batreps again.
I don't want to promise more batreps, but perhaps there's something in the works.
How do you get your paint detail so crisp on such small miniatures ?.. amazing !
Thank you! I've started in the past two years to really buckle down and try thinning my paints down and painting in layers. I used to just mostly hit a mini with a base coat, wash, drybrush, and then walk away. But I wasn't satisfied with how they would turn out and in some cases, be embarrassed. Some of the minis I've shown in spotlights I wish I hadn't.
Love your videos man always will be a subscriber as a miniature reviewer and wargamer myself love this miniatures and painting them keep up the good work man.

@@ProbableKoz Yeah I have no problem with the Miniatures it’s glad that we got the unseen’s back on track only one thing that I hate right now about this kick starter is it’s not on sale on the store shelves I wish everybody can get this I feel bad for those people who didn’t sign up for the kick starter and eBay is going to price Hick Mechs I can’t wait for this lockdown to be over so I can play some alpha strike again.
Painted is better, grey plastic makes all the details blur together. Maybe grey plastic with a black wash would work, but fully painted is great.
I want to play but i cannot find the friggin boxed minatures anywhere.
Painted minis look great. I'd say do more painted unboxing.

@@ProbableKoz tbh, i don't have the Stinger, but like pretty much every Stinger mini i've seen posted had the wonky head.
FWIW, mine does not have the wonkey cockpit. I seem to have lucked out with all my pulls tbh. The only mini I've had any issue beyond slight mould lines is the ubiquitous smooshed eared Catapult from the AGoAC box.
Wow my Cresent Hawks look like 💩 compared to yours. I only have 3 mechs painted phoenix hawk wasp stinger LAMs. I think mine looks more cartoonish in color. I may strip them down and do something else. I'll try to post them on my Diviant art page. Under the name Boneshaman
