Thanks Will, this is exactly what I needed to help my 9 month pit bull. He pulls like a freight train and needs a little guidance, I’ll apply your technique and see how we do. 😬👍
Thank you Will, this is exactly what we are dealing with. Our little 1 1/2 y/o just "has" to walk ahead of us. Even pulling with a prong collar like it isn't there.
Hello, I've taken on a one year old Doberman. Not trained. It's clear he doesn't get enough walks but I am struggling to walk him and he doesn't like other dogs. I try to get him to listen but he wants to hump my leg all the time. Help! Getting him to listen is very hard.
Try putting a little distance between your dog and the other dogs, if you can’t avoid it try putting your dog in a sit and throw some treats on the ground and have him “find it” while the other dog passes or whatever the situation. It can help get your dog focused on something else for a moment. It’s worth a try, it works for my 7 month old female Dobie.
i cant walk much so I use head halter works fine making sure to also run it through the collar so not to jerk and hurt my Kiras neck. If I were not disabled would use this method on video for my pup
Can you say what the actual tip is to stop them? Is it walk in the other direction? Can you go into the actual detail of the technique to correct them.
Try better treats, like Vienna sausages or hot dogs, your dog will like something, or try toys or affection whatever your dog responds to the best use that as the reward.
I feel like this channel is full of click bait. Like, all of it. The videos are so vague and generic. Don’t even summarize the points because there are none. For instance this video, to get rid of pulling balance training with food rewarding and….. walking on the left? In the us I switch based on which side of the street I’m walking on. Don’t want them facing traffic. But yeah. Balance training with food. I think he said tell them what you do and don’t want them to do. Hmm.
TY Will, so glad the Doberman channel still is active and getting its own videos ♥
I wanted to see how to stop a Doberman pulling and learned nothing....too much talk and no action or demonstration.

Thank you! I’m currently working with my reactive dobby on this.

That just evidences that not only are prong collars not necessary, but instead it's all about training
@@D3N2W I have to respectfully disagree with your prong collar assessment. She has been to 2 trainers thus far.
Great demo mate. Clear.
