I love that Ru acknowledges that he needed to evolve his understanding of what drag is. He has been attacked so much (sometimes fairly, often too harshly) as a gatekeeper to drag or as transphobic because he did not include them sooner. But Ru didn't dig her heels in but evolved and that is all I ask for.
I guess there wasn't time for it, so if you haven't watched AJ and the Queen on Netflix I highly recommend it! RuPaul leads a great cast in a fantastic story!

Agree. Tears cried from emotion contain oxytocin while tears from debris or wind or irritation do not. A good cry once in awhile keeps you from becoming emotionally constipated and literally helps you self medicate with oxytocin. As humans we are meant to cry as needed and yet it’s often deemed as weakness which is absurd. We would be healthier as a society if we drop the stigma.
Ru's humbleness is infectious. Of course the Season 13 premiere had the highest number of viewers out of all seasons. They keep enhancing and fine tuning and Ru looks exactly like she did when the show started!

Ru puts up with a lot of clueless people asking a lot of the same dumb interview questions but he and Stephen do have a cute thing. It's genuine. You can tell by Ru's laugh. Even though Stephen likes to think he's more in the know than he is. But still, it be funny. 😝

The only song ever to bring me to tears in my 55 years is 'Alone Again' by Gilbert O'Sullivan and that was long before my Dad passed away last year. I haven't dared listen to it since then but I'm going to soon. Thankfully, Mum seems likely to kick on for a good while but I know that'll bring me to my knees when it happens. When I lived in Portland, OR many years ago, there was a drag couple named Donna Creation and Eva Destruction. ;-) Drag names can be so fun.
Eva Destruction is a pretty big name now, was on a different drag shows. I’m a huge fan.
