what will the support system be on electric vehicles for poor people that have to drive 20 year beaters , or will they be forced to public transportation?

    • @aaronbounds1336
      @aaronbounds1336 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

Tell me more…what do you mean, exactly by support system, and 20 year beaters? Why do people have to drive them? I have owned older cars before, and although they aren’t worth much, they still cost a lot to operate. My point is that a used Tesla goes for just over $20K now. That’s in the neighborhood of $300/month. If you average out gas, oil changes, and unplanned essential maintenance to keep the car on the road, the carrying costs are about the same. People don’t have to drive 20 year old beaters, they just think they do.

4:50 - mechanics done? Doubt it. Their work will change for sure, but a Tesla is still a mechanical device that has suspension, breaks, and is a set of assembled parts that will need fixing. It is true that the nature of a lot of the work will change, but mechanics will still be a necessary part of society. The cars will still need alignments. Electric motors can be rebuilt, but it may be cheaper to just buy a new one, that remains to be seen. Electric cars still have radiators, manifolds, sensors etcetera, which can go out and need replacing.

The majority of humans are herd-like creatures. They conform to the ideas of the herd and if the herd deems something unfavorable, then they support the herd and isolate those who think differently. Then there are the independent thinkers who actually evaluate alternatives, thoroughly analyze the pros and cons, and make a decision independent of the herd. Sometimes they match the herd, sometime they don't. If everyone could think independently, then there would be no need for these types of videos, but sadly, most people care far too much about their social status to make their own independent decisions. They would rather drive inferior cars, spend all their money rather than build wealth, get pregnant by the people they knew were bad for them in the first place, etc.
People are going to hate Tesla simply because people hate Tesla. It doesn't matter what Tesla does or how positively individuals speak on it. Not everyone is going to like the car. Maybe the herd will accept it over time, but until that happens, we're just going to continue to be the black sheep of the car world.

      @@sasukesuite1 Well said.
I find it fulfilling when I’m able to expand someone’s awareness. I feel that if more independent thinkers start to do this (or try to) we can cause a chain reaction of growth in individuals overtime that will ultimately lead the world to a better place.
There was a period in my life where I was obsessed with doing this to the people close to me and would beat myself up when they couldn’t resonate. I’ve now become content knowing that even despite good efforts, there will always be some who aren’t ready to hear it and never will be. Or some that just need more time.

Musk has no moral compass, and an Ego bigger than Mars.
The Tesla is a great Vehicle.
The VW Beetle was Hitler's idea, but still a classic car.

Not many people hate the car. The ones who do grow to like it after owning or driving one.
It’s not a perfect car by any means. Riddled with QC issues not found on basic economy cars.
But I can’t lie and say Tesla isn’t the king of EVs.
I can’t even imagine owning anything else.
The biggest issue is Elon Musk and the Tesla Fan Boys.
Elon is a smart individual no doubt, but he needs to learn when to shut up.
It’s crazy how he manages to ruin an amazing company with his public image.
Don’t get me started on the Fan Boys. Most of them not even educated enough to give me reasonable facts, just spewing out the same old nonsense Elon does. It’s like they’re his little Minions, even worse than Apple Fan Boys.
I can’t tell you the times a Tesla Fan Boy tried to talk to me and just bored me with absolutely nonsense.
I don’t care about what Elon is doing in the future, I don’t care what he promised, I don’t care about his declining sales, I just wanna drive my car.
I love the car don’t get me wrong. But not what the image has become.
Hopefully they get a new CEO sooner rather than later and they can rebuild a respectable image.

I did enjoy what you had to say, but I wish you would not use bad language. As far as people's thoughts, this world is getting more and more selfish and immoral. Whether you like Teslas or not, there is no reason for the hatred and vandalism done to them. I personally can't see myself buying a new car ever again, but I still have my '97 Civic that I bought new. I love it, and it is nearing 640km on it. If I did go for another car, I don't know if I could get a Tesla at its current rate of technology (I drove a lot of long trips for work, and I don't relish the idea of having to refuel for half an hour on my trip). I also don't own a smartphone, nor do I bank online much, so that would probably be a problem. Still, for the average person, the fact that you don't have to buy fuel for it (even though the tires need replaced often) will probably make up for the high price of the car.

I chuckled in disbelief when I noticed somebody keyed my door a few months back, still hard to believe people actually feel the need to do that kind of stuff. @@SJHFoto I didn't know about any vandalism. I don't care enough about them to vandalize one or to promote one I just know I don't like their CEO taking credit over company he did not actually start he did give them a big loan and then take over but it's not like everybody thinks he invented every part of Tesla that's not true. Not only I don't like his political beliefs I do not like him as a person yes he is Rich so that makes him more important than me but as far as I'm concerned I don't care if he moves back to Canada or South Africa

@@stevenpoynter9982 If we knew about the actions of most company owners, we would be disgusted. I am not agreeing with any persons actions, I am talking about how immoral and selfish people are to damage someones property. What do you drive? (You don't have to answer that) Let us say that a scandal comes to light that your car's owner (I mean the company owner) was a heinous murderer. Would you then not mind if someone vandalised your car in protest?
