    I was looking to buy a PMU machine only to see that you are using the exact same machine I do for tattooing! 😂 The Cheyenne Hawk Pen has been a valuable tool in my collection. Great review, thank you!

    So informative and a perfect explanation of PMU machines. Very beautifully put-together pro video. I am so glad you included the phantom because I have one from years ago and I was hesitating about using it for brows. I am coming back after a 1.5-year break to do PMU again and wanted to get a new machine. I also was not crazy for my Xion S which is why I am looking for something new. Still hesitating between Valhalla and Flux Mini. I am going to subscribe and watch all of your videos. Thank you for it.

    You can change the stroke length on the artyst H1by twisting as well.

    I’m looking to get a new machine. On the fence, between the Neuma 4 and the Valkyr on both I can change the stroke super easily. And both have some give. The Valkyr you change the stroke by simply twisting. The NEUMA you can also change the cam.

    Hi Tess,
    I enjoy educating myself on tools & techniques…
    So I thank you for your videos… I love the bishop machines and need to decide which one to buy as my first… can you pls tell me what the packer 4.2 is best used for… I mostly do microblading without machine… however, not sure if my first machine should be a 4.2… I want to start doing lips & liner too… which machine is best for brow, liner & lips?
    Thank you, Rochelle

    Thanks so much for the review. The xion is just the regular xion meant for body tattoos, the xion s is not this one and the S is more meant for pmu. You can also adjust the hit with xion S 😁

    • @Tesstattoo
      @Tesstattoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thank you so much!! The open cartridge is for airflow for the pigment, if the cartridge opening is facing towards you, the air can’t flow properly making the pigment not flow properly

    Hi Tess, can you explain how needle length affects our work please, thank you:)

    • @marielabreche498
      @marielabreche498 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      stroke length

    • @Tesstattoo
      @Tesstattoo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The stronger the hit the more traumatic it is to the skin, the more you will see the pixels as well. For a less pixelated look and less trauma I recommend a lower stroke level

      @@Tesstattoo How does voltage after pmu results? What voltage should the machine have for best results? Thank you

    • @Tesstattoo
      @Tesstattoo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marielabreche498 you’re welcome. As far as voltage goes that is totally personal preference and depends how fast you flick your hand. Your hand movement and speed should match so if you flick slow with your hand your speed on the voltage should be slow to match. I personally work anywhere from a 5-1.1
