Ajing rods are strange beasts indeed. Have a couple and tend to take them when I might need to adapt to the situation and throw a fairly wide range of weights. On the downside, I've never found them to be good for accurate casting but that doesn't matter too much in the surf. In the end, would you free rig in the surf again or was it just fun to try?
I think i'll free rig some more indeed. letting the current blow the lure around naturally seems to be a good thing. alternatively, jika rig and articulated jigs like the Eye Strike Fishing Texas Finesse eye Jig would be my choice to avoid some of those seaweed!
@@rawrfishing Just keep the stargazer in the live well and you got yourself a backup battery bank. Just plug your usb into the fish and bam quick charge. LOL!
Where did you buy the Tsurinoya Elf and how much did you pay? I don't see many CDMs making these longer Ajing rods. Most of them are only making short soft tip trout rods. I'd like to see how these handle bass fishing.
While you can get this on Aliexpress at Madmouse, I gotten mine directly from Tsu as I have a long time relationship with them. www.aliexpress.us/item/2255801072464239.html
omg, if ur gonna watch this before sleeping.. u might hear that same hammering sound in the background all night! When i fished that day, it was hammering for like 2 hours at a time intervals... and i heard it the next 2 days!
Going to try tht next time im out, seems optimal getting it to the bottom as quick as possible and keeping it in a strike zone
Fun using the free rig! Avoid a lot of them seaweed that seems to be all over the area!
