The "Two Headed Sewer Monster" is 100% a deal breaker for me on ANY RV. I already struggle at some campgrounds with a single hose trying to get the proper drain angle.
The battery disconnect inside is a great option. Fail in the mini hanging compartments. Unless youbwear crop tops, half of your shirts will be beyond wrinkled. No shades in the doors is a fail for me. The kitchen is dreamy, especially with both recliners and dinette. The boot barn is dreamy too. Storage around the tv is wonky since there is nothing to keep the contents from leaving the door area to the floor below. The toilet... please turn that slightly. Angling sinks and toulets makes soooo much more sense in most layouts. Josh, thank you for your videos. We are having to buy a new couples coach, and TH-cam has allowed us to see models that aren't offered within 5 hours of our home.
I absolutely agree with the "drop down" tv mount option. I'm right handed, but also a "bigger" guy. That toilet needs to be rotated 45 degrees, no doubt!!!!!! Otherwise, nice camper as all the other Alpha Wolf's are.
Man... first of all I really like the facelift. For reasons unknown I have always been attracted to Forest Rivers "Wolf" lines of campers, despite taking some ribbing from my RV elitist friends about it being a mediocre line. Between the facelift and the way they utilized the layout, this one has moved to the top 3 of my list for our new camper. The toilet orientation is an issue BUT being somewhat handy and more importantly having very handy friends...I think that can be fixed. It really does check every box and looks good too. Now just need to find one way more east than Montana! Good find Josh, thanks for keeping us up to date on the new cool stuff!
If i had the towing capacity I'd be getting this floorplan for sure.. would have to agree that the toilet needs some adjustment. The Camper Queen mattress woud be going right away as i am 6'4". I hang off our current camp queen and it makes it difficult to keep blankets and sheets tucked in. Overall however, i like how they've layed thos out
I think having a power outlet on the dinette-back cabinet would be nice, that could be a great place to offload countertop appliances. Or, if they ran an HDMI or displayport connection from the TV backer, a great place for something like a Switch.
Love your channel guys. I must've spent hours and hours and hours watching to help me pick out my RV a few years ago. My wife and I lived in that baby for 3 years and still have it, even though we're living in a regular house now. Just saw your video pop up in my recommendations feed and thought, man, I never thanked them, did I? Hope your channel keeps growing, good luck and thanks for all the work you've done! I truly appreciate it.
At one time, I did consider the 2 headed sewer hook ups as a deal breaker. But, as I have really fallen in love with these rear kitchen designs, I have realized that it is just a fact of life I will have to deal with. That toilet however may be a deal breaker...
Nice to see a real shower door showing up in the Alpha Wolfs - no more flimsy curtain. I hope they did the same for the 23DBH this year. Josh, if you could get a walkthrough of that model it would be great. I love the enhancements Alpha Wolf makes year over year. The black and grey dump valves being inside the heated underbelly is an often overlooked feature!
I agree true queen would be really nice! Also cubbies up by the headboard in the bed would be wonderful. And the option for free standing (if possible) would be nice.
Love the kitchen layout and thrilled to see an oven! They did a nice job on the finishes in this one. I agree that a tv bracket that could angle down would be a plus
Of course, to find fault, is easy, but seriously, they don't claim to be perfect, this unit can easly be a fulltimer!!!! Love the doors are so appealing, and the stairs at both doors!!!!! Solar has got to be enhances, yes, this is one sweet floor plan, a rear kitchen is always amazing especially the pantry, Wow! Thanks Josh, as usual, through the eyes of the customer, you're the best!!!!!
There is so much to like about this RV like standard solar, theater seating, a nice entertainment center “with” TV, a 3 burner cooktop and oven, a porcelain toilet, large vent fan and shower door👍the only big misses are no ladder, a tiny camp queen bed and a 2 headed sewer monster😢
Definitely struts on the overhead and bed storage. True queen bed would be better as well as a tilt on the TV. Would prefer one sewer connection. I love the awning and the floor plan is perfect for me.
Love the layout and the kitchen arrangement! Good TV angle for couple without kids. Poor storage in the bathroom. Yeah, toilet less than ideal. Great that most folks can get into the rooms while slides are in. Kitchen & table accessible with slides in. Love the glass door look. I like it.
What version of the cable slide out is specified? I can’t find it in the brochure I have heard the exact slide improves upon the issues suffered by the Accu slide
very nice trailer, and excellent floor plan. Bathroom works as we are both right handed .... :) I must say however that with the 12V fridge, this thing will need a lot more than 100W of solar if you are doing any off grid camping. This would be ideal if they would go back to the propane/electric 2-way fridge and a regular 6 gallon water heater. These on demand ones seem to end up using more water, but at least this has huge tanks to make up for that I guess. nice review as always...
The toilet orientation is definitely a deal breaker. My husband is a lefty. For me, the deal breaker is the lack of storage under the bathroom sink. At least it looks like there is no storage. Love the lighter colors inside and out. Also, the steps and huge awning would be something we would love.
I love everything EXCEPT that toilet position! What were they thinking? Angle those things, man!! Would probably be a deal-breaker for me. I love your videos 😁
A great floorplan in a compact size. Love the kitchen. Counterspace and look at that pantry and extra drawers! The size of the fridge is great, but it doesn't run on gas, and you lost me there. I understand the need for the two sewer outlets to simplify the design of the holding tanks and waste plumbing, but like with others it is a deal breaker for me. Our current travel trailer (31' 1979 Airstream) has a full sized bed in the rear bedroom. It was really easy to buy an upgraded mattress for it years ago. Those 'camp queen' beds, is it easy to find upgrades for those from non-RV manufacturers?
Something that stands out to me is the odd cover panels in the bathroom, and lack of any kind of doors on the bed storage. Seems like a missed opportunity that the manufacturers took to save a few bucks.
Thinking of getting this one as an alternative to the Mini Lite 2515s! I don’t love the closet slide in the Minilite or the bathroom doors, love the storage in this one and the sliding doors! So great for small spaces!!! Thanks for sharing Josh!!!
If you’re right handed, cooking at that stove might get tricky. The pantry is super nice. The tv could be a bit bigger, and I agree on having a different mount that allows the tv to move up and down. Nice counter space in the bathroom, but I agree about the toilet…. The shower seems small, especially if you’re a bigger person. The bedroom closets are so short and seem kind of useless. Sorry, this one seems a bit cheap.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed those bedside closets seemed really short. I'd rather have taller closets than the finger-pincher overhead storage if I was given an option. The drawer is nice but, again, I'd rather have a taller closet (preferably with a bedside "cpap cutout). I agree about the toilet placement, I'm kinda fluffy and that might be a deal-breaker even though they did so many good things in this model. I love that the dinette is usable and the fridge is completely accessible in road-mode.
That shower head is wonderful. Every trailer should come with that as standard equipment. Also, every trailer, double pane windows should be standard equipment.
love the back but lost me at bath and bed. kitchen is really nice with lots of storage and i love the desk area/boot barn! not enough storage in bath and i loathe open storage, especially for a bathroom. no down under storage and the toilet...??? not enough storage in bedroom for longer trips. thanks for the walk-thru! we really enjoy your videos!
The toilet is a issue and something I'd avoid when we get a new one. Our current one is like that and in a smaller bathroom so your feet hit the wall in front of you and your up against the wall on the right. We have to sit a bit sideways to use it and we aren't tall or overly fluffy. As for the TV bracket I fully agree, I'd much rather have a drop down bracket putting the TV at a more comfortable eye level when sitting. I'm at that age that when I look up my neck sounds like a bowl of rice crispies.
3 for 3 on last videos with toilet Previews of Nerd on toilet. LOL.. Yes, nice bathroom, Nice counter space! Toilet could be angled as mentioned. Current colors in most RVs is nice, this one is kool too. Wife and I have been together 52 yrs, why she puts up with me is a wonder!
My ideal floorplan...across the front wall have a huge tv. At least 72". Great sound system. Facing that is a couch/Murphy bed. Have a wall slide with full closet. Have a hallway that passes bathroom out into kitchen/dining.
Not the rig for me. However, it is great to be able to stop, after a long drive and have a snack in the dinette. And then be able to put your leftover snacks in the fridge. It is all about the trade offs/what is important to you. Thanks Josh for another great, honest review!
Josh, I agree this is a good couples coach. Also, I agree the thrown should be rotated to 45 degrees. I think they should raise the ceiling height to 6'9 for a little more head room throughout the coach. Get rid of the dinette and mount the TV at least a foot lower. They should also put a true queen bed in it as well. If they need to make the trailer a foot longer to make it happen then they should. I didn't see very many outlets either. They should install many more throughout the coach. That is my deal breaker for this coach though. Cutting corners to save money by not installing electrical outlets ON THE WALLS and not underneath cabinets. Mounting electrical outlets underneath cabinets is just plain stupid by any manufacturer.
Nice. Like it. Some suggestions (I understand price point 😊) but I hate the accordion style shades. I agree with TV idea you mentioned. That toilet though 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Also, Put the darn shades on the entry doors 😂 LOVE the ability to upgrade solar. Also love that it has artic pkg. Now I need a truck 😜
This is the best 23' couples floorplan and this is a nice take. They nailed most of it. Toilet angle fail, wow. Missing the head cubby's at the bed and would rather a wall attach or free float dining table. Could have had a nice wastebasket spot cutout at the end of the shoe area. I would love to see this pushed for a 24' in a true queen. Bathroom storage doors or nets would be nice.
Now we are talking! This is my favorite floor plan and this winter at the shows in the north east we will be scouting for this kind. I’m down any time for Obi-One! Love the entry drawers and shoe “mall garage” 🤓… even though I’m not a fan of the mid bathroom arrangement, I do love how they equipped the shower head to a decen brand and the counter space is awesome . We’ve never laid on a camp queen mattress before to try length so that would be interesting to find out if is enough for us. We are not tall people so it should be find. Rode mode is workable . Will need more solar for us but is not bad for initial camping. Very nice unit!
Hey Uncle Josh hope that you're having a great day? I do agree that the toilet needs to be angled towards the shower a little more that way party's have some room to use the butt napkins a little better then what it is now. On a great note the nailed this alpha wolf travel trailer! Your number one fan an friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina. #NerdHerd!!!!!!😎😎😎😎
It is the perfect floor plan for us but done better in the imagine, IMHO. I may be biased because we have the Imagine😅 Seriously, though, I watched pretty carefully and prefer ours. The only thing about this one that I envy is that central vac.
Is the toilet placement there so a shower and a poop can happen together and awkward eye contact can be avoided? I’d like to see power points on that cabinet by the rear door. Maybe there was some and I just didn’t see ‘em. Great job dude.
Nice review Josh! I was wondering when another manufacturer would knock off the GD 23LDE. Forest River has done a nice job here and added some features that GD doesn't have. The large panty is nice but you give up seating space over the GD to gain it, is that a loss? The dinette looks a bit smaller too. Central vac.!? Wow.. The The kitchen cabinet layout is better in the GD. I like Forest River's larger bath sink and the addition of the towel bar but the lower shower faucet is a bit odd. The toilet is a problem.. The bedroom is missing the bed cubbies but I do like the addition of the coat hooks. LOVE the slam latch storage doors and the powered stabilizers! "Pound for pound" as you would say, I prefer my GD 23LDE but this is a perfectly good entry.
The LDE isn't exactly the first of its kind for what it's worth. Brands like Bullet and freedom express have been doing versions of it for years. The LDE really dialed it in nicely of course The layout has also been common in fifth wheels for some time
The toilet placement is a deal breaker on an otherwise cool floorplan. And can they make that bathroom cabinet look better or even make some more storage down there?
I like that rear kitchen window . And the window in the bathroom letting in some natural light is nice, but that toilet is a problem. What is the reasoning for the two sewer drains? Yeah I think that would be an issue
I toured this model just a couple of weeks ago at a CW and really liked it. Not "loved" it for all the reasons you mentioned. I'm 6'2" so the camp queen doesn't work and the toilet placement? Only 100w solar? That's not enough to even run the fridge properly. Why have a 71 gallon fresh tank if you have to be plugged in or run a generator all the time to keep the food cold? We "boondock" often which is why I have 400w solar and 280ah lithium. That said I am an avid DIY'er so upgrading wouldn't be much of a problem, just added costs. In a few years when we're ready to change out our TT this is a model I would definitely look for. Great video as always.
I agree the toilet is placement is not the most functional. It also feels strange to have the back completely open. I think it needs to be turned a full 90 degrees, not just 45. Having a separate black & grey drain is a dealbreaker for me, especially as far apart as those are. How are you supposed to to a quick "rinse" of the septic hose without the grey to flush? Yes, I do know about black tank access but that is not needed every time.
in cases like these I'd probably get one of those little extra hookups you put right on the sewer outlet itself with a water hose inlet -- basically a built-on hose flush
As far as the stove goes I wonder if you could diy it with some of the stick on back splash to fix that issue. Not a fan of the two headed sewer and cable slides but the layout of this one is very good.
We have a 2022 Alpha wolf and love the setup--except for the CHEAP pressboard dinette!! I had been loading the camper with slide in and slipped and had my elbow come down on the middle of the table (it was in the lowered position) and it broke in half. Yep-My bad. I have replaced it with 3/4 inch white oak plywood covered in black vinyl so it looks like the original. Upgrade--took two lengths of 2" PVC piping, added the 2" male connectors (had to sand the threading down to fit) and now have a set of short legs to support the table when used as a sleeper.
Some brands do really thick decking under the dinette but no cross members As I recall alpha does thin decking but with cross members Or am I wrong? I see so many campers.. man it get murky
I like this floor plan, but the toilet isn't great, not sure if it's a deal breaker until I see it in person. Also, need to see if we can get into the bathroom with the slide in. I wish the cabinets were white. We have white cabinets in our current trailer and love them!!
If that setup had a bedroom slide with a closet/chest of drawers, I'd be all over it! I've also noticed that a lot of RV's aren't rated for full timers. Could you add some couples, full timer rig reviews at some point? Thanks Josh!
I am looking forward to Ember "R&D-ing" the 23LDE floor plan with twin beds into the Overland Series! I have heard (started) the rumors that it's true! The toilet looks like it's actually on wrong when compared to the published floor plan.
I'm not big on bunkhouse trailers (solo camper), but I think a pair of twin XL bunks (so 4, one bunk on each side) in the front and maybe breakfast bars replacing the sofa and dinnette could make for a really interesting layout.
I LOVE the layout, but it looks like it wouldn’t perform very well taking it anywhere other than pavement, which is a shame. I also wish they would connect the under bed storage to the pass through on more travel trailers. Plus a real queen size bed too
I don't like glass doors. I would like a swing away grab handle on both doors. I would prefer free standing chairs and table over a dinette. Concur with rotating the toilet away from the left hand wall as well as another strut under the bed and in the overhead storage in the bedroom.
Any chance you got access to the 280QBS? It looks like it has potential to bridge the Bunkhouse Floor-plan from the 26DBH-L to some of the bigger ones with isolated bunk rooms (30RDB-L and 33 BH-L).
Personally, that whole theater setup could go. I would much rather have a comfortable two seater couch and use the TV area for storage. Watching TV is a very low priority for me when I am on the road. If I want to watch any media I just use my iPad. Same for my wife
Hello Josh! Always appreciate how you present the RV models in the style that you do......and especially appreciate the good and the bad aspects as you see them......while I like your review on this model, I have to say this one falls short for me on two fronts; namely, the "two headed sewer monster" and the toilet location.....also admit I'm leery of the cable slide function as well.....I know this is a price point brand and model, but it has these showstoppers I wouldn't want to confront.....but you always have done a stellar job on bringing us the details on features and benefits per each model you review! Thank you as always! ~Lou
Great review and nice floorplan, but the toilet is a deal beaker. That may be the worst toilet placement in a walk through bathroom ever. I have owned an rv with 2 sewer outlets and hated it. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker, but it's definitely a consideration when choosing my next rv.
If they change the toilet to angle or even north/south facing. Would prefer a 200 watt solar and a 180 inverter. Then this would be my pick. I am looking at the Rockwood 2515s that is similar to the style and had 200 watt solar and 180 inverter standard.
No hold open on the front cabinets. No shade in the door. Only one strut on the bed. This is foolishness. This unit is just past the price. That I expect such shortcuts.
Great video, not that my wife and I expect anything less from you! How would you rate the insulation of the Alpha Wolf series? Can they handle the extreme Texas summer's?
Ok, I just looked at bush's prices and take it back, I would buy this! Quick question....does the toilet "flusher" hook up to the shower or separate? I feel like I need to see more from the toilet and angles etc
I recently purchased a wildwood forest river toy hauler never been sooo dissapointed in a trlr :( cheap, bad construction numerous major issues and only used 1 :( dealership said is to specs :( i wished i had checked out wolf before i bought this forest river . But it will be my last one hopefully i can sell at a big loss in $ :(
Did they actually change the toilet alignment after your video? I'm asking because the floor plan I found on their site shows the toilet is at an angle?
Everyone has an opinion. I made a video about different slide systems here: th-cam.com/video/DkgYjoijTNI/w-d-xo.html I would encourage you to read the comments to see what actual owners have said
Your flagstaff has no only torsion axles but also a torsion suspension most RVs lack. It causes your suspension to work almost completely different from leaf spring systems. Without diving into real detail it'll help your RV hug the road better at speeds and when cornering
Toilet needs to be angled, bed needs an extra strut., no outdoor kitchen or mention of a cooker hooker-up and no single stinky slinky hook up. Close to what I want but still got me looking
I do not understand any manufacturer who does not angle the toilets in the bathroom. Just common sense to give you more room that way.
Thanks for the video Josh.
You’re totally correct, manufacturers just DON’T give a rat’s rear end👍because if they did it would have already been angled😑
I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t get addressed
The "Two Headed Sewer Monster" is 100% a deal breaker for me on ANY RV. I already struggle at some campgrounds with a single hose trying to get the proper drain angle.

Yes that as well as the cable slide out is a deal breaker. jmo

Electric outlet by the table/counter with the shoe garage. Perfect place for an air fryer/crockpot.
👍🏻
I absolutely agree with the "drop down" tv mount option. I'm right handed, but also a "bigger" guy. That toilet needs to be rotated 45 degrees, no doubt!!!!!! Otherwise, nice camper as all the other Alpha Wolf's are.

You had me at Switch lol :)
The shoe storage and dresser drawers is awesome. Love it.
Too bad they didn't put the hanging storage on the top of the unit.

I agree about the toilet! I happen to be left handed! Is it possible for the dealership to kinda angle it to be more lefty compliant? 🤔
I’ll be a bit surprised if the toilet doesn’t get tweaked

Agree with the pockets. We both use CPAPs and need a place to put them. I think reading lights are a must.
You had me at headboard power pockets
Love the kitchen layout and thrilled to see an oven! They did a nice job on the finishes in this one. I agree that a tv bracket that could angle down would be a plus
Thanks so much!
Finally someone wants an up down TV arm! Agree and I hate looking up like that! Thanks Josh!

Wow ty 🙏🏻
You are so right Josh this is the perfect couples camper I really like it !
😊
Definitely the best floorplan for a reasonably sized couples trailer.
The toilet is a deal killer for sure! Also I don’t like separate dump hook ups. Got to have a real queen size bed to.
I love the little night light in the bathroom
A real shower head!! Some really nice ideas for a couples camper.
Definitely!

I’m unsure apologies. Local folks at www.bishs.com/contact-us can dive into that for you
very nice trailer, and excellent floor plan. Thankfully theyre including the wiring capable of handling up to 400w of additional solar (plus the opportunity for side-mounts)

Love the lighter colors inside and out. Also, the steps and huge awning would be something we would love.
Yes absolutely have the TV able to lower. Maybe drawer slides?
👍🏻
We love the rear kitchen! You probably have enough complaints on the toilet placement, we don’t have to say a word. Thanks Josh!
lol yeah. Check the comments.
Very nice Artic Fox Travel Trailer Josh 😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
TY
I love everything EXCEPT that toilet position! What were they thinking? Angle those things, man!! Would probably be a deal-breaker for me.
I love your videos 😁
Usually an easy tweak at the store thankfully. Likely just a quick oversight
I have a floor plan similar to that and was really impressed by so many things in there until I saw that toilet. That is a deal breaker 100%.
Pretty sure that's getting adjusted thankfully
A great floorplan in a compact size. Love the kitchen. Counterspace and look at that pantry and extra drawers! The size of the fridge is great, but it doesn't run on gas, and you lost me there. Fair
Ohh if we didn’t have our 2020 grey wolf 23mk I love this floor plan ❤
Thinking of getting this one as an alternative to the Mini Lite 2515s! I don’t love the closet slide in the Minilite or the bathroom doors, love the storage in this one and the sliding doors! So great for small spaces!!! Thanks for sharing Josh!!!
That mini is basically the baby version of this layout actually
I love the dual entry
If you’re right handed, cooking at that stove might get tricky. The pantry is super nice. The tv could be a bit bigger, and I agree on having a different mount that allows the tv to move up and down. Very, very nice trailer.... except for the dual drains. Could have make our short list. Oh well! Thank Josh!
That shower head is wonderful. Every trailer should come with that as standard equipment. Also, every trailer, double pane windows should be standard equipment.
They really are nice

My pleasure! TY for watching
If my wife and I were the couple camper types, I definitely could see us in that one
Thanks for sharing, Josh.
you bet!

Yeah I still remember that old "nintendo neck" from being a kid sitting there playing so long
3 for 3 on last videos with toilet Previews of Nerd on toilet.
Sounds great!
Not the rig for me. However, it is great to be able to stop, after a long drive and have a snack in the dinette. And then be able to put your leftover snacks in the fridge. It is all about the trade offs/what is important to you. Thanks Josh for another great, honest review!
Thanks for sharing!
Can’t install an outlet in a 1.5” laminated wall btw
But on an interior hollow wall I agree
@@JoshtheRVNerd -- Agreed!
Nice.
Thank you for sharing
This is the best 23' couples floorplan and this is a nice take. They nailed most of it. Toilet angle fail, wow. Missing the head cubby's at the bed and would rather a wall attach or free float dining table. Could have had a nice wastebasket spot cutout at the end of the shoe area. I would love to see this pushed for a 24' in a true queen. Bathroom storage doors or nets would be nice.
pretty sure they're fixing that toilet. Don't think it was ever supposed to be that way in the first place
Yup! Deal breaker.. One sewer connection.. Also a factory install roof latter would be nice..
☺
TY for watching!
A very close copy of my 23LDE but with a few neat ideas and several questionable choices.
Yep yep
Love the pass through bath/shower room
Good!
Really like the floor plan
Hey Uncle Josh hope that you're having a great day? I do agree that the toilet needs to be angled towards the shower a little more that way party's have some room to use the butt napkins a little better then what it is now. On a great note the nailed this alpha wolf travel trailer! Your number one fan an friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina. #NerdHerd!!!!!!😎😎😎😎
Ty Leonard
It is the perfect floor plan for us but done better in the imagine, IMHO. I may be biased because we have the Imagine😅 Seriously, though, I watched pretty carefully and prefer ours. The only thing about this one that I envy is that central vac.
👍🏻 ty for the owner’s comparison
I do like the kitchens in the back.
I do as well
Maybe it's just me but I feel claustrophobic when the sofa is squeezed between the refrigerator and a wall.
A cabinet to ceiling closet or storage area be nice there by dinette.
Is the toilet placement there so a shower and a poop can happen together and awkward eye contact can be avoided? I’d like to see power points on that cabinet by the rear door. Maybe there was some and I just didn’t see ‘em. Great job dude.
hahaha
The LDE really dialed it in nicely of course
The layout has also been common in fifth wheels for some time
Thanks Josh and pardon my ignorance. I must defer to your wisdom for model history. Enjoying your channel as always!@@JoshtheRVNerd
The toilet placement is a deal breaker on an otherwise cool floorplan. And can they make that bathroom cabinet look better or even make some more storage down there?
I have to agree that there needs to be a little bit more room on the left hand side of that toilet. Simply angling it a little bit would be huge.
Pretty sure they’re doing exactly that
Splitting the dumps is *almost* a deal-breaker for me. It is possible to rig up a connection, so it's not absolute.
Kinda how I feel. Annoying, but not an all stop for me personally. I get why some people really don't care for it though
I like that rear kitchen window . And the window in the bathroom letting in some natural light is nice, but that toilet is a problem. What is the reasoning for the two sewer drains? Yeah I think that would be an issue
Toilet is already fixed from the factory thankfully
Dual sewer required because the running gear prevents merging them
Nice camper for someone who loves the GD23LDE but doesn’t have the $$$ - some nice things included on this like the central VAC!
They really did a solid job overall I think
I do appreciate how they made the solar able to be scaled
People like me don’t need more than the 100w
But able to scale up for those who need it
I agree the toilet is placement is not the most functional.
I've seen folks do that before. It doesnt looks super hard
Some brands do really thick decking under the dinette but no cross members
As I recall alpha does thin decking but with cross members
Or am I wrong?
I see so many campers.. man it get murky
Toilet and shower height killed it for me
OK, the bathroom is travel accessible, you just have to go through the bedroom door. I really don’t see a problem.
I like this floor plan, but the toilet isn't great, not sure if it's a deal breaker until I see it in person. Also, need to see if we can get into the bathroom with the slide in. I wish the cabinets were white. We have white cabinets in our current trailer and love them!!
Toilet being corrected so no worries there
If that setup had a bedroom slide with a closet/chest of drawers, I'd be all over it! I've also noticed that a lot of RV's aren't rated for full timers. Could you add some couples, full timer rig reviews at some point? Thanks Josh!
Actually.. you may want to watch this video regarding how warranties work for full time rving th-cam.com/video/rCwg6QfTy-E/w-d-xo.html
@@boskone ooooo I like sound of that! Pair that with bigger windows like the new Salems!
Race Bannon approved floor plan and overall weight. Hadji is angry at the bizarre toilet placement! Dr. Quest was not available for comment
😆
I LOVE the layout, but it looks like it wouldn’t perform very well taking it anywhere other than pavement, which is a shame. I also wish they would connect the under bed storage to the pass through on more travel trailers. Plus a real queen size bed too
Yeah definitely not for off roads
I don't like glass doors. I would like a swing away grab handle on both doors. I would prefer free standing chairs and table over a dinette. Concur with rotating the toilet away from the left hand wall as well as another strut under the bed and in the overhead storage in the bedroom.
Very nice. Toilet is a head scratcher
It was a production oversight apparently. Being addressed
Any chance you got access to the 280QBS? It looks like it has potential to bridge the Bunkhouse Floor-plan from the 26DBH-L to some of the bigger ones with isolated bunk rooms (30RDB-L and 33 BH-L).
It wasn’t built when I recorded these but I have been thru it
Personally, that whole theater setup could go. I would much rather have a comfortable two seater couch and use the TV area for storage. Watching TV is a very low priority for me when I am on the road. If I want to watch any media I just use my iPad. Same for my wife
Totally fair. Ty
It would be nice if the grey water dumped out the same spot
Why are there no outlits by the front door???not everyone has their phone on them all the time.🤔 It's okay to disconnect.
~Lou
Toilet is to be turned as I understand it. Apparently it was only a little mis-communication that landed it as shown
Great review and nice floorplan, but the toilet is a deal beaker. That may be the worst toilet placement in a walk through bathroom ever. I have owned an rv with 2 sewer outlets and hated it. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker, but it's definitely a consideration when choosing my next rv.
It wasn't intentional & thankfully we've brought it to their attention so it can be addressed.
I’m noticing in the shower it appears the hot/cold handles are very low??? That seems strange? Is that something hard to change?
It is weird I think but there might be something in the wall higher up, preventing it from being located there. I’m not 100% sure.
If they change the toilet to angle or even north/south facing. Would prefer a 200 watt solar and a 180 inverter. Then this would be my pick. I am looking at the Rockwood 2515s that is similar to the style and had 200 watt solar and 180 inverter standard.
Toilet angle was addressed on these immediately after I put my video out
For clarity - I'm estimating you meant a 1800w inverter?
Oops, squirrel, yes 1800
No hold open on the front cabinets. No shade in the door. Only one strut on the bed. This is foolishness. This unit is just past the price. That I expect such shortcuts.
Great video, not that my wife and I expect anything less from you! How would you rate the insulation of the Alpha Wolf series? Can they handle the extreme Texas summer's?
It’s pretty standard. No major extreme packages
Can you exchange the theater seat for a jack knife or fold away bed? That'd be more comfortable than sleeping on the dinette.
I think they do offer a sleeper but I don’t have an option list in front of me
@@JoshtheRVNerd I have placed it on my list to consider.
Ok, I just looked at bush's prices and take it back, I would buy this! Quick question....does the toilet "flusher" hook up to the shower or separate? I feel like I need to see more from the toilet and angles etc
Toilet and shower are two totally separate fixtures
I like the walk through bathroom. Much bigger
They’ve grown on me
I recently purchased a wildwood forest river toy hauler never been sooo dissapointed in a trlr :( cheap, bad construction numerous major issues and only used 1 :( dealership said is to specs :( i wished i had checked out wolf before i bought this forest river . But it will be my last one hopefully i can sell at a big loss in $ :(
Did they actually change the toilet alignment after your video? I'm asking because the floor plan I found on their site shows the toilet is at an angle?
Yes they did
These Alpha Wolfs come with a cable driven slide out. Are they good, bad, ok?
Everyone has an opinion. I made a video about different slide systems here: th-cam.com/video/DkgYjoijTNI/w-d-xo.html
I would encourage you to read the comments to see what actual owners have said
How about turning the toilet 90 degrees? And I really like this trailer is what we’re looking for I would like to trade my 28 DBQ
I'll be surprised if they don't adjust it
I like it but don’t need 2 doors! Delete the bedroom door
Nice unit, but how big of a difference is there between solid axles with leaf springs like this model, vs a torsion axle like on my Flagstaff 21DS?
Your flagstaff has no only torsion axles but also a torsion suspension most RVs lack. It causes your suspension to work almost completely different from leaf spring systems. Without diving into real detail it'll help your RV hug the road better at speeds and when cornering
Toilet needs to be angled, bed needs an extra strut., no outdoor kitchen or mention of a cooker hooker-up and no single stinky slinky hook up. Close to what I want but still got me looking
