I totally agree: The first thing I would rework about Yorick is his ult. I sometimes play a little bit of Yorick and his ult always seems powerful, but yet underwhelming. And his lack of cc is one of his mayor issues so an utimate that locks down one or several enemies would be really sweet. As long as they keep his ghoulmaster theme intact I am all up for a Yorick rework.

That Nami ability is good but i think her current E is better tho i dont mind another sivir/morgana shield. Nami's E grants bonus damage to auto attacks based on her AP, gives ally move speed and if the ally hits its target it gets slowed. Its very op if its casted on melee top laners like Garen or Jax or Riven who can chase very well and pretty much destroy any enemy especially with nami's buffs.
The Jayce ability would have more likely been for Urgot, since its an ability that has both a ranged and melee application - which is appropriate for his Q in a hypothetical kit where his R remains.
I would really like to see a spell thief champion where his ult would latch on to a visible champion within a reasonable distance. Then his q,w ,and e become that of the target champion. his passive gives a small AP ratio to all abilities and a small amount of manna for abilities cast near him.
that shapeshifter ability sounds similar to nox from smite's 3 ability where she dashes into another character as their shadow allowing her to move with them and burst out in an aoe damaging area around them
i think the shapeshifter ended up being tahm kench. devouring allies so shield them with your own health, self shield that comes from your own self, telporting allies with yourself
They should make a champion with no Autoattacks. AS works as a animation steroid for his abilities which are used to CS. Imagine they have a weapon that they can use in a thrusting, slashing or arcing way. Thrusts are for enemies in a line, slashing deals damage in a semi circle around the champion and arcing bypasses enemies and enables him to jump after his weapon. Maybe the weapon would be something like the sword from Ivy in Soul Calibur. Thrust it as a sword, slash it like a whip or throw it like a grapling hook. All are relatively short on CD with the arc having a double CD. One for the attack and one for the gapcloser. Ultimate is some jazz about setting a perimeter or deactivating AA for everybody else or decreasing the range of every attack the enemy has.
my favorite one is nami's because im a nocturne player and it just feels so good when karthus ults and u negate all the dmg so putting that on a supp for quick saves is OP.
I think the second Oriana ball should have cast her [Q] both toward the cursor and her [E] on target champion within range, that way you could cast one on two champs, or two on one, as well as a multiplicative effect on her [W] that if they are hit with a pulse from both balls they would get an lightning bolt down like Thunderlord's Decree, dealing additional true damage.
Oriannas double ball ult should def. been there. Would've been awesome to watch. R and Q to control the balls, w activates on both and e pulls both balls on target giving double shield (or maybe 150%?). Something like 100s cd and 6s duration.

At 1:23 when you said "skill cap", you should have said "skill floor". A skill cap is the max effeciency and power a thing can have when you have the most theoretical skill possible, a skill floor is the minimum skill requirement to use an ability well.
I think 2 balls would have been very interesting on Orianna. You could have made reactivating R during ultimate to work like Q, but on the second ball. Then W would be copied on both balls and E would be prioritized to either ball closer to the target or always the "original" ball instead of the one spawned by ultimate. She would be more of a dps mage with doubled Q. Although the microskills needed to make that work does not suit the style Riot is aiming at when developing lol. That is more of a Dota's thing.
The scrapped Orianna ultimate sounds similar to Azir's W to me. The idea of spawning another object that is able to interact with the rest of your kit? I see some similarities.

Honestly I don't see how targeted Sivir/Nocturne's spell shield is broken at all. Sure it's useful in 1v1s and 2v2s where you can specifically block any spell you like, but in huge teamfights where everyone on the enemy team just wants you dead and spams their spells to kill you, there's no way to properly block a spell that you like. Think about it. How often do you engage a fight as Nocturne and block that one specific spell you wanted? Probably like 10%-15% of the time given that you're diving in the center of the enemy team and you're just bombarded with all sorts of spells.

Hey Jeremy, I am a fan of your video and suddenly an idea comes to me: does TF requires a rework or just a little bit of change on his kit? I remembered that Riot says that they want to decrease the effect that RNG has on League, however TF's passive and W all have some element of RNG in it(yes it is not totally random due to how league works, but it is a lot more harder to time it compares to crits). Although it really isn't that big of a deal, it is still frustrating when an assassin jump into your face and you cannot get a yellow card in time. I mean it really is the core part of his kit and very balanced, but to me it is just felt weird sometimes. The passive don't make much change wether if you got 1 or 6 gold, however my friend literally raged when we solo and both play TF and I get like one build ahead when he's out farming me. Also his E is kinda weird since it caused a lot of ADC TF appears, and I feels like it is causing an unhealthy pattern, since it makes such a huge difference on weather if you have it or not when group fight, and after all it is just a passive. Overall I feels like TF is a good champion but it is just occurs to me that some of his ability really is just weird. I am not against his current kit since it is balanced and have a really good mechanic, and to be honest I am not even against about the RNG since it does fit in with his lore as a gambler, but I just kinda want to discuss about it since I heard you said that Riot don't want RNG to be involved in the game. If they have an AFK, they can do /remake and surrender the match early, you only need 2 greens to give up...Its basically to let the teammates go into another game so they dont 4v5
theyre reworking yorick as a juggernaut. i wouldnt expect too much hard cc in his new kit. even skarner was reclassified as a vanguard due to his lockdown from his ultimate. yorick will probably just bring a whole lot of defense and damage. maybe hell keep his current ult, i mean it is pretty unique and not a problematic part of his current playstile.
Dont get me wrong, i love league and play it far more than Heroes of the storm, but there are some cool champion concepts in heroes we are missing. Abathur (can give global shields (on like 4 sec cd), movespeed, shoot projectiles) Murky Splitpushchamp, only grants 1/4 kill when dieing, and can place respawn "egg" much like a zz rot portal, where he can immediatly respwn when dieing. Lost Vikings You control 3 seperate Champs, they have so abilities each, with q w e you can move the respective champ but you got an ult which brings them together and add teamfigth value.
Yes, they are unique, but all that concepts exist in HoTs (like getting half a kill) and don't really fit into League. Besides, why would they copy Blizzard ideas? They surely don't want that.
I think innovations should be translated into other games as well. The genre of Mobas got copied from dota 1 and now we have some good games fitting each Flavor of moba player. I think, abathur could get a realisation as support champ, with heavy Focus on global help for allies. Lost vikings could help out the Jngl, ganking mid and farming top, or scouting. Murky is surely heavy to Balance, so just make him underpowered and he is a fun champ only.
They did copy from Dota, but now they're making unique champions. In Hots they have a separate category for heroes like Lost Vikings,you know it's called specialists - I don't see it in LoL. You're forgetting that people are playing league to win games -League is competitive game, they don't want to add "fun" champs that people would use for trolling. And making it underpowered would mean it wouldn't sell.
i dont understand how riot thought it would be difficult to balance that ulti. Its would have been an aoe damaging ability. There are a ton of those in the game. Change the scaling or the range or the base damage untill its balanced. I think that they changed her ulti to what it is because they wanted her to be an assassin, not because the ability couldn't be balanced.
Yea riot thinks sion's q creating new terrain is complicated and here in DotA 2 we have invoker who has 14 skills (you need to combo your q-w-e in different order to obtain different skills for example if you wanna cast Cold Snap you need 3 q's then press r to get the skill ) yea its ''compliceted''
There is no reason they needed to change Diana's original ult, just change the damage. Why did it have to deal true damage? Although it sounds kind of similar to Nunu's ult.

It's actually really easy to do with some visual editing, like for example for the Jayce one he just took bun how Jayce qs and just shifted the colour and sped it all up
Yeah im worried about that too. Every champ riot has released this year has been considered somewhat hard to play with the only real exception being jhin but that's cause he's an adc and he's only moderate difficulty. Tbh the problem is that alot of easier champs have low counterplay cause mechanics that are easy to use, like point and click abilities, have no counterplay. So basically it becomes impossible to make champs that are easy and fair to play against.
So does dianna had another ability instead of her e when she had this ultimate. If she does i understand the fact that she would have become a full/ap tank type of champ.
Well considering you compared one skill to another moba i do think that diana's scrap ult could be nice considering in dota they have arc warden (who's ult gives him a copy of himself,like shaco's ult, but the copy can use most of his ability and current items) and i guess meepo who you control 5 heroes though if 1 dies everyone dies. i think it would be fun playing with 2 balls that's what i am really saying.

Lost Vikings You control 3 seperate Champs, they have so abilities each, with q w e you can move the respective champ but you got an ult which brings them together and add teamfigth value.
Yes, they are unique, but all that concepts exist in HoTs (like getting half a kill) and don't really fit into League. Besides, why would they copy Blizzard ideas? They surely don't want that.
I think innovations should be translated into other games as well. The genre of Mobas got copied from dota 1 and now we have some good games fitting each Flavor of moba player. I think, abathur could get a realisation as support champ, with heavy Focus on global help for allies. Lost vikings could help out the Jngl, ganking mid and farming top, or scouting.
Murky is surely heavy to Balance, so just make him underpowered and he is a fun champ only.
They did copy from Dota, but now they're making unique champions. In Hots they have a separate category for heroes like Lost Vikings,you know it's called specialists - I don't see it in LoL. You're forgetting that people are playing league to win games -League is competitive game, they don't want to add "fun" champs that people would use for trolling. And making it underpowered would mean it wouldn't sell.

i dont understand how riot thought it would be difficult to balance that ulti. Its would have been an aoe damaging ability. There are a ton of those in the game. Change the scaling or the range or the base damage untill its balanced. I think that they changed her ulti to what it is because they wanted her to be an assassin, not because the ability couldn't be balanced.

Yea riot thinks sion's q creating new terrain is complicated and here in DotA 2 we have invoker who has 14 skills (you need to combo your q-w-e in different order to obtain different skills for example if you wanna cast Cold Snap you need 3 q's then press r to get the skill ) yea its ''compliceted''

There is no reason they needed to change Diana's original ult, just change the damage. Why did it have to deal true damage? Although it sounds kind of similar to Nunu's ult.
What if the shapeshifter type champion had the AOE cleanse ult, by that I mean a champion that latches onto another champion to shield their health with his or hers.

needless to say, 5000 max damage is quite a bit too much
the ori ult would be awesome spawning another ball use Q press R use Q again with other ball and all the other abilitys with no cd or maybe cd between the R ball switches.

It's actually really easy to do with some visual editing, like for example for the Jayce one he just took bun how Jayce qs and just shifted the colour and sped it all up
It's still really nice how he does the extra work to showcase it

Sion was meant to be an easier champion, because his old kit was brain dead easy to play, so they wanted to make new sion somewhat easier.
I like how they think, because I was afraid a lot of champions would get reworked at some point and there won't be anything simple to play.
Yeah im worried about that too. Every champ riot has released this year has been considered somewhat hard to play with the only real exception being jhin but that's cause he's an adc and he's only moderate difficulty. Tbh the problem is that alot of easier champs have low counterplay cause mechanics that are easy to use, like point and click abilities, have no counterplay. So basically it becomes impossible to make champs that are easy and fair to play against.

I play Yorik and yea a root (or dash) would really help him deal damage as one of my main problems is reaching my opponents

Well considering you compared one skill to another moba i do think that diana's scrap ult could be nice considering in dota they have arc warden (who's ult gives him a copy of himself,like shaco's ult, but the copy can use most of his ability and current items) and i guess meepo who you control 5 heroes though if 1 dies everyone dies.
i think it would be fun playing with 2 balls that's what i am really saying.
