Have to disagree a bit on this one, Fizz's E and Shaco's Q definitely are stronger than alot of abilities on that list. Your number 1 was prob a good choice though.
i'd have to say no for shaco, yeah he gets stealth, a dash and a crit but its not game changing, build tank and you do nothing, but damage and you get blown up...its just a ganking tool

FLUXBEAM well not really, its about the whole champion, as he states with blitz, the q is so powerful that the rest of his kit is...meh. he also states with ali and gragas that its reliant on other things
well I havent seen an ap thresh since season 2 so 200 dmg really isn't much at all... and I'm not even sure if it stays up for much longer, seems about the same time... and obvously you cannot break the veigar walls by walking through them
what about threshs passive? free armor and ap. thats a tanky veigar. just play him full ap. or with some mr. you got your tankstats and your dmg with your ap
Same, Dark Passage is such an absurdly powerful ability, its really a shame they left it out for "AoE displacement #4" Likewise I'm surprised that Morgana's Dark Shield didn't make an appearance, because CC immunity that can only be broken by casters is a pretty absurd ability. Also Ashe's Hawkshot should have at least been an honorable mention, since a global ranged Vision Check is incredible.
I think, veigars stun deserves to be on the list. It has a moment before it is active, but still, it is a better thresh ult, stunning everyone, knocking them out of dashes, zoning the whole enemy team, it's just overpowered in my opinion.
Honestly I was expecting Veigar's E, Event Horizon on this list, maybe even on number 1 spot. When I look at your list, all of these skills have multiple uses. However, Event Horizon has more utility than all of these skills. I will list them here so you guys can understand better how powerful this skill actually is. -The most basic use is to catch a lone target. Veigar's Event Horizon excels at picks because different to all abilities in these lists, you do not have to actually hit the stun on the target. Even just encircling them forces a Flash at the least or causes certain death if your team is behind you. -Veigar excels at sieging towers. Just putting the cage near the tower it directly nullifies any counter engages the enemy can do while you take the turret down. Again, you do not need to stun them, the cage stays there for 3 seconds. -You can peel your ADC very easily by just encircling them. This will nullify all but very few engages any assassin can use on your carry. -Fourth, during a teamfight if your team has an advantaged position you can use the cage to divide the enemy team itself, as some will be left before, some in, and some out of the cage. -Fifth, the cage will cover all of most choke points in the jungle, making it a perfect disengage tool if someone is caught out of position. -And above all of these, the most basic fact that you can stun an entire team. Unless all 5 players are grouped together, Veigar's Event Horizon is the only basic ability with the potential to stun an entire team, which makes it almost as powerful as an Amumu ultimate, which is considered one of the best ultimates. Difference is, Event Horizon only has 8.4 second cooldown at 45% CDR. Need I say more?
ekko w is not for sure. cause even high elo player cant pull off the stun consistently. is more of a shield with extra dmg. fizz e is overloaded. i dont know about yasuo's w... i feel that yasuo has his power fairly even distributed on all his abilities.
Ekko w got gutted and it's pretty hard to land. Fizz e should be on there imo and other abilities are better then yasuo w. imo fiora w should've been #1
Your logic being Nasus's q being stronger than veigar's q makes no sense. Since veigar's q effects all his spells, wouldn't that make him better because it makes him universally better while nasus's q only effects his q. Realistically nasus's q will probably do more damage than veigar's just because nas gain's 3 damage and veig only gets 1 if he kills 2 creeps with his, but veigar makes every one of his abilities better than nasus's.
I'm kind of surprised tahm's w wasn't mentioned. No explanation needed, but here you go. Tons of dmg, cc, or saving a team mate. I was also suprised pantheon's w wan't mentioned. Dmg, cc, click to win engage, and resetting his passive. Most champs have some crazy powerful ability that might be worth a spot on this list. Lets think of a champion who doesn't have a single ability that dominates their kit.
There is an ability you forgot, Shen's Q early game can do a minimum of 250 damage to a maximum of 400 damage based on your ad and penetration, and i am talking about level 1.
I agree with most of this list but I think Pantheons W would be a great contender, since its point and click + nuke + gap closer + stun, and if that wasn't strong enough it even resets his passive
Great list, Jer! but I think Morgana's deserves a spot in the top 10. Not to be affected by any kind of cc is just INSANELY STRONG! It's can't WIN a game by itself as Blitz's hook, but it can definitely NOT LOOSE a game, by saving high priority targets from ambushes.
I still think that Thresh's Q is much more better than Blitzcrank's Q. Blitzcranks Q can be considered a better ability when they are compared without thinking of the champion. (can be considered, not is) But Blitzcranks Q has almost only one usage: hook someone and then they die. Sure there are sometimes situations where you are away from your ADC and you Q the enemy near your ADC, but these kinda situations dont come across very often. Thresh hook has a variety of uses: engage, disengage, gapclose... And when you consider his abilities his Q has even more uses: you can use it to get to the middle of the fight and ult, you can ensure your E and if you think about it, if a Thresh hooks an enemy from max distance and drags them as long as he can, than jumps and throws the enemy back with his E, that's almost the range of a Blitzcrank Q, that also lets you chase your opponent even further because youre behind of your enemy. And you can use other units such as Neutral Camps to escape with Thresh. Another cool thing is Thresh can also create a sole target by hooking the target and then knocking away other enemies behind the target, creating an opportunity to engage the sole target that you pulled without getting initiated on.
blitz can't choose whether he wants to engage or not after the hook. For instance, if you blitz and you hit a 1000 stack nasus you've basically lost the game for your team, if a thresh did the the same he can choose not to engage on it and inside just use it as soft harass and poke which is infinitely better than losing the game off of a blitz hook.

I thought graves e would be in there since it can stack 4 times for extra armor and mr plus the bonus can even reach 120 so he can easily solo drag late game.
Honorable Mention! Yasuo Q Acts as a second auto attack Can hit multiple targets and apply on hit effects and provides a multi man skillshot knockup (similar to Janna Q) nice vid Jeremy
I still think Broken Wings on Riven is more than an honorable mention. That ability is basically a dash, an auto attack reset, an auto attack enhancer, an engagement tool, CC, and an escape tool in that it can jump walls on the 3rd cast. It's literally some champions entire kits built into one insane ability. How is that only an honorable mention?
I really think that, althought it might not be in the top 10, shaco's q is pretty insane; instant flash/invisibility/secured crit, and no more that 10 sexs cooldown. It has so many uses, and leads to an incredible amount of plays. I just love it xD

Shaco's other abilities are pretty weak, Leblanc doesn't do well in this meta as an assassin, same with fizz, Jax actually does get played from time to time but gets outdone. Veigar takes long to get strong and LCS tends to finish games fast
No, actually Ali is the only INSTANT AOE knockup Cho has a delay Yasuo, able to be dodged Fizz ult, able to dodge Blitz E, you can dodge the hook, plus it doesn't keep you in the air all that long Janna, able to dodge But with Ali, if he's on you, then you can insure you're gonna get knocked airborne unless he's oom
Plus Janna's can be instant cast AND has actual range. This is supposed to be a video about the strongest basic abilities, not "hey this ability is really great and useful if you have this other ability that makes it work!".
I Think Pantheon W stun is one of the strongest as well: Very fast gapcloser, a 1-sec stun, refreshes an auto-attack blocking passive, AND is point and click with a decent range for only 55 mana. It has everything most champs want: speed, offensive mobility, utility CC, defensive procing, low mana cost, and ease of use.

titanic hydra gives him more damage depending on health. sure it doesnt increase the damage you will deal with your q or your ult, but every autoattack becomes stronger when you kill anything at all and have titanic hydra

Aurelion sol q is a giant sized aoe stun that can 5 champions up to 3 sec at a low cd, his e is a twisted fate ult, his w is the strongest waveclear ability in the game, for the cost at he cant hide in bush, thats what an underated champion means.
I think the huge duration and AOE stun of Veigar E should have at least got it an honourable mention. For a basic ability it can be such a game changer
sivir's e, now that's something she was common pick in worlds 2015... mention the HUGE DISADVANTAGE of blitzcranks' q that is pulling tanky cc like amumu. Even if you target adc with your hook, such champs as amumu can easily intentionally flash to blitz q to get satisfyingly pulled into ur team and win the whole game with single press of the button...
Ahri charm I think deserves at least an honorable mention after the rework of the lengthened cc if you ask me. Gnar's e is good too, very reliable engage or disengage tool for normal and mega form
Pre rework sion Q was one of the most powerful skill in the game. Ranged, point and click, stun for 1.5 sec, that deals massive magic damage, also had a 1.2x or higher AP ratio.
I would have included Fiora's W Riposte as at least an honorable mention. It gives her the ability to dodge ANY other ability in the game, including a Caitlyn ult that would finish her off, or a Bard ult that would trap her to likely doom. Plus the slow and upgraded stun for avoiding crowd control gives ridiculous room for outplay.
According to me, this was a great list, since we can't all have the same opinions, I can't expect TOO much. But, like... where's Fizz E? Free Zhonya's in my eyes. That's the only one I could think of that I can say for sure most people with agree with me on, then I have some own opinions, like Maokai W and stuff, but I feel like most people would disagree on that.
Illaoi's E: In lane it gives you absolute dominance if you manage to land it close to your tentacles and will make the jungler think twice about ganking when you can grab a spirit. It can set you up for easy double kills and get you some surprise kills as well if you force someone out of lane with it. In sieges, when you have a lot of AD and land it on a carry you can immediately remove them from the defense or ult out of sight, to surprise and kill them. And finally, during fights it enables you to do so much more damge simply by having the soul around.
I agree that fizz E can be toxic. But it's nowhere as bad as a blitzcrank grab. In a team fight fizz have to get kills to do so much damage. Where as a o.k blitzcrank can help the team with his grabs. Heck a good blitzcrank vs a good fizz will shut down a fizz in a team fight. He can hide in the bush, and wait for fizz to come, pull him in, and knock him up, in a team fight.
I feel like Taliyah's W should be included in there, as well, since it is basically Cho'Gath's Rupture, but you can actually knock enemies in a specific direction.
I personally think ezreal arcane shift is super strong because it's not just a flash with a super short cd but also it can't be cancelled so it can be used to void pulls such as blitz grab
I would argue Zilean's Q because it can stun a group of enemies for 1.5 seconds and can have a like 4-5 second cooldown along with being comparable in damage to cho's rupture
Best Ability in LoL: Annie's E, Useless Stack. This ability is never used for damage reduction, but it costs almost no mana and gives you a passive stack.
I'm gonna make a a few predictions right here. I predict that these are on this list: Shaco's Q Ezreal's E Alistar's Q Fizz's E Blitz's Q Idunno any more
One bad thing about Blitz, his passive on his ult. I cant count how many times i have accidentally stolen minions, aggroed Baron or Dragon, or a jungle camp. And when running away, well when low enough, ult passive aggro enemy camp, now your dead not by your fault

I think Thresh's E, flay, probably should've made the list. Auto attack damage increase, knockback(in choosable directions), a slow, capable of stopping dashes. It's tricky, but its really strong.
Taliyah also became rly strong. It has impact damage, slow effect, zone control, super high damage if you land your w or they dash into it and the remaining traps also deal damage after 4 seconds. this is also a lot in one skill
The damn lantern dude! Thresh lantern can be used to provide vision, a shield, an escape tool, it's considered terrain, you can use it to bait ganks and helps you get those delicious souls.
Just 1 thing, Pantheon E - most power full basic ability in the game. 1st it is a gap closer - checked. 2nd it is a stun - checked. 3rd it is passive refresh and if you have 3 stacks it is double passive - checked. 4th it is aa reset - checked.
Things that should've been on the list: Nasus w (longest cc in the game, virtually a free exhuast that can be permanently cast on target), Fizz e (troll pole is just absurd, in every way, it does really good dmg, makes you invulnerable, slows, and is a pretty nice dash), Shaco q (If Shaco's other abilities were better his q would make him down right broken. Invis, free flash, added on hit dmg, and it lasts for quite a long time), and Leblanc's w (mobility, mobility, mobility many pros have said that mobility is the best in the game, and that is part of the reason for Leblanc's long history of competitive dominance. Having an instant dash that can be used twice, makes it virtually impossible to know where Leblanc will be at any moment, and provides for an INSANE amount of outplays.)
I feel like Aurelion sol ability "Comet of Legend", which is his E ability, is the longest dash in the game being a basic ability and I think it should be at least get an honorable mention because it can change the aoe of his q to be galio size ult and stunning everyone hit by it, plus it's a quick way to get into lane without the use of teleport. Just my opinion tho.
Where would you guys Diana's shield at?It protects you, damages enemies, and if you proc all the spheres, then the shield doubles. It's not really game-changing, but for a basic ability, it's very good for duels.
I think Zed's W is really powerfu basic ability since it mimics his spells and gives him high bonus ad. And Yasuo's Windwall since it can block every projectile and potentially block an enemy team's wombo combo. And Bard's E since it can make your team mobile.
I think some of these should have been on the list. -Morgana shield -Fizz E -Ekko E -Morgana Q -Rengar Q -Yasuo W These all are very powerful, and some of them are powerful at really low cooldown.
You really should of included sions stacking hp passive on soul furnace , it can make you an unkillable behemoth with insane damage on titan hydra late game. Also shaco should of got a shout out for his Q, it helps both the ad and ap builds for shaco, it gives an auto crit (for more then base crit at max rank), a flash, a stealth and an auto attack reset , it also allows him to position for his backstab passive.

I agree mostly with this list, but I'd see Fizz' E in this list aswell. It gives you a hell lot of mobility - specially late game - by letting you jump over walls, which lets it act like a Mini-Flash, and it gives you an insane amount of damage with it's basic damage + scaling. And on top of that, it acts like a Mini-Zhonyas which makes you untargetable for a specific amount of time that you can choose (by hitting E earlier or later). And if that wasn't enough, it also slows the enemy for a short amount of time, making it easier to basic attack them. And if you say that wasn't enough aswell, at Level 18 it has a cool down about 4 seconds. Just because of his E most of his kit got pretty much nerfed to the ground, mostly damage wise, and he still is viable with it. And the fact that it even gets more powerful inside of his kit, since he technically has two gapclose, there is only one champion that has a Mini-Zhonyas inside of his basic abilities - Vladimir's W - which is not nearly as strong as Fizz' E. Every other champion that has a Zhonyas like effect (Lissandra, Bard, Taric, Kayle) have it as an ultimate abilite AND then it rarely does anything besides it (but Lissandra - it either bursts an enemy and slows her or makes huge damage and slows enemies and heals her).
My top 3 basic abilities in LoL are: 3. Yasuo windwall, able to block pretty much anything for a whole teamfight, while your team can do whatever they want. 2. Yasuo Q, an On-Hit effect that deals bonus - ranged - aoe dmg with no cooldown at all. 1. Yasuo E, a Dash with 1.xx seconds cooldown that deals damage and gets you a shield to block incoming damage. Guess what the best ultimate ingame is! nvm this one is not placed by yasuo....^^
Nope, i just hate that champion more than anything else. I have mastery score 3+ with every single champion, except yasuo... i dont give him a single game
What about Ahri's charm ability? it's like a mini insec, cc's you for a very long time and deals a fair amout of damage. Also, I think Twisted Fate's pick a card ability is insane. you can use it to stay in lane, deal AoE damage to grouped enemies, and the gold card is a 1.5 - 2.5 seconds stun on a basic ability with a very very low cooldown.

Nobody mentioned Veigar E... it's basically a Tresh ultimate, but ranged, and stuns instead of slows and is on a short cooldown...
Except Thresh's wall does 200 base damage with a 1.0 ap ratio, and it stays up for much longer

-Fourth, during a teamfight if your team has an advantaged position you can use the cage to divide the enemy team itself, as some will be left before, some in, and some out of the cage.

Your logic being Nasus's q being stronger than veigar's q makes no sense. Since veigar's q effects all his spells, wouldn't that make him better because it makes him universally better while nasus's q only effects his q. Realistically nasus's q will probably do more damage than veigar's just because nas gain's 3 damage and veig only gets 1 if he kills 2 creeps with his, but veigar makes every one of his abilities better than nasus's.

Great list, Jer! but I think Morgana's deserves a spot in the top 10. Not to be affected by any kind of cc is just INSANELY STRONG! It's can't WIN a game by itself as Blitz's hook, but it can definitely NOT LOOSE a game, by saving high priority targets from ambushes.
I still think that Thresh's Q is much more better than Blitzcrank's Q.
Blitzcranks Q can be considered a better ability when they are compared without thinking of the champion. (can be considered, not is) But Blitzcranks Q has almost only one usage: hook someone and then they die. Sure there are sometimes situations where you are away from your ADC and you Q the enemy near your ADC, but these kinda situations dont come across very often.
Thresh hook has a variety of uses: engage, disengage, gapclose... And when you consider his abilities his Q has even more uses: you can use it to get to the middle of the fight and ult, you can ensure your E and if you think about it, if a Thresh hooks an enemy from max distance and drags them as long as he can, than jumps and throws the enemy back with his E, that's almost the range of a Blitzcrank Q, that also lets you chase your opponent even further because youre behind of your enemy. And you can use other units such as Neutral Camps to escape with Thresh. Another cool thing is Thresh can also create a sole target by hooking the target and then knocking away other enemies behind the target, creating an opportunity to engage the sole target that you pulled without getting initiated on.

Thresh's Q has more utility, Blitzcrank's Q wins games by itself.
You just described what blitz's hook does too, ensures the knock up on his e, and guarantees his ultimate landing.
blitz can't choose whether he wants to engage or not after the hook. For instance, if you blitz and you hit a 1000 stack nasus you've basically lost the game for your team, if a thresh did the the same he can choose not to engage on it and inside just use it as soft harass and poke which is infinitely better than losing the game off of a blitz hook.

I still think Broken Wings on Riven is more than an honorable mention. That ability is basically a dash, an auto attack reset, an auto attack enhancer, an engagement tool, CC, and an escape tool in that it can jump walls on the 3rd cast. It's literally some champions entire kits built into one insane ability. How is that only an honorable mention?

I really think that, althought it might not be in the top 10, shaco's q is pretty insane; instant flash/invisibility/secured crit, and no more that 10 sexs cooldown. It has so many uses, and leads to an incredible amount of plays. I just love it xD

Shaco's other abilities are pretty weak, Leblanc doesn't do well in this meta as an assassin, same with fizz, Jax actually does get played from time to time but gets outdone. Veigar takes long to get strong and LCS tends to finish games fast
One of my favorites is Quinns E, it's like a 1 stop shop for kiting and can gap close on longer ranged targets as well

I Think Pantheon W stun is one of the strongest as well: Very fast gapcloser, a 1-sec stun, refreshes an auto-attack blocking passive, AND is point and click with a decent range for only 55 mana. It has everything most champs want: speed, offensive mobility, utility CC, defensive procing, low mana cost, and ease of use.

Ahri charm I think deserves at least an honorable mention after the rework of the lengthened cc if you ask me. Gnar's e is good too, very reliable engage or disengage tool for normal and mega form
Pre rework sion Q was one of the most powerful skill in the game. Ranged, point and click, stun for 1.5 sec, that deals massive magic damage, also had a 1.2x or higher AP ratio.

I would have included Fiora's W Riposte as at least an honorable mention. It gives her the ability to dodge ANY other ability in the game, including a Caitlyn ult that would finish her off, or a Bard ult that would trap her to likely doom. Plus the slow and upgraded stun for avoiding crowd control gives ridiculous room for outplay.
According to me, this was a great list, since we can't all have the same opinions, I can't expect TOO much. But, like... where's Fizz E? Free Zhonya's in my eyes.
That's the only one I could think of that I can say for sure most people with agree with me on, then I have some own opinions, like Maokai W and stuff, but I feel like most people would disagree on that.
Illaoi's E: In lane it gives you absolute dominance if you manage to land it close to your tentacles and will make the jungler think twice about ganking when you can grab a spirit. It can set you up for easy double kills and get you some surprise kills as well if you force someone out of lane with it. In sieges, when you have a lot of AD and land it on a carry you can immediately remove them from the defense or ult out of sight, to surprise and kill them. And finally, during fights it enables you to do so much more damge simply by having the soul around.
No Veiger E? The spell that can change games itself?
I agree that fizz E can be toxic. But it's nowhere as bad as a blitzcrank grab. In a team fight fizz have to get kills to do so much damage. Where as a o.k blitzcrank can help the team with his grabs. Heck a good blitzcrank vs a good fizz will shut down a fizz in a team fight. He can hide in the bush, and wait for fizz to come, pull him in, and knock him up, in a team fight.
Don't forget Kindred now can scale her Q without a cap when she gains more and more stacks from collecting her hunts.
I feel like Taliyah's W should be included in there, as well, since it is basically Cho'Gath's Rupture, but you can actually knock enemies in a specific direction.
I personally think ezreal arcane shift is super strong because it's not just a flash with a super short cd but also it can't be cancelled so it can be used to void pulls such as blitz grab
I would argue Zilean's Q because it can stun a group of enemies for 1.5 seconds and can have a like 4-5 second cooldown along with being comparable in damage to cho's rupture

One bad thing about Blitz, his passive on his ult. I cant count how many times i have accidentally stolen minions, aggroed Baron or Dragon, or a jungle camp. And when running away, well when low enough, ult passive aggro enemy camp, now your dead not by your fault

I think Thresh's E, flay, probably should've made the list. Auto attack damage increase, knockback(in choosable directions), a slow, capable of stopping dashes. It's tricky, but its really strong.
Taliyah also became rly strong. It has impact damage, slow effect, zone control, super high damage if you land your w or they dash into it and the remaining traps also deal damage after 4 seconds. this is also a lot in one skill

The damn lantern dude! Thresh lantern can be used to provide vision, a shield, an escape tool, it's considered terrain, you can use it to bait ganks and helps you get those delicious souls.
I think the Fiora W deserves a spot here too, just because she can counter every other strong ability

I think Shaco's Q is the single best ganking ability in the game. It lets you go invisable and it makes you unpredictable when you will gank

Things that should've been on the list: Nasus w (longest cc in the game, virtually a free exhuast that can be permanently cast on target), Fizz e (troll pole is just absurd, in every way, it does really good dmg, makes you invulnerable, slows, and is a pretty nice dash), Shaco q (If Shaco's other abilities were better his q would make him down right broken. Invis, free flash, added on hit dmg, and it lasts for quite a long time), and Leblanc's w (mobility, mobility, mobility many pros have said that mobility is the best in the game, and that is part of the reason for Leblanc's long history of competitive dominance. Having an instant dash that can be used twice, makes it virtually impossible to know where Leblanc will be at any moment, and provides for an INSANE amount of outplays.)
I feel like Aurelion sol ability "Comet of Legend", which is his E ability, is the longest dash in the game being a basic ability and I think it should be at least get an honorable mention because it can change the aoe of his q to be galio size ult and stunning everyone hit by it, plus it's a quick way to get into lane without the use of teleport. Just my opinion tho.
If you do top 10 ultimates don't forget Galio's. As a stand alone ability it's insane, it's just the lack of a gap closer that makes it difficult.
Where would you guys Diana's shield at?It protects you, damages enemies, and if you proc all the spheres, then the shield doubles. It's not really game-changing, but for a basic ability, it's very good for duels.
I think Zed's W is really powerfu basic ability since it mimics his spells and gives him high bonus ad. And Yasuo's Windwall since it can block every projectile and potentially block an enemy team's wombo combo. And Bard's E since it can make your team mobile.
You should do a top 10 most powerful ultimates in the game.

These all are very powerful, and some of them are powerful at really low cooldown.
You really should of included sions stacking hp passive on soul furnace , it can make you an unkillable behemoth with insane damage on titan hydra late game. Also shaco should of got a shout out for his Q, it helps both the ad and ap builds for shaco, it gives an auto crit (for more then base crit at max rank), a flash, a stealth and an auto attack reset , it also allows him to position for his backstab passive.
You should try counting infinity-stacking champions again. Nasus, Veigar, SION, THRESH, BARD, KINDRED.

I agree mostly with this list, but I'd see Fizz' E in this list aswell. It gives you a hell lot of mobility - specially late game - by letting you jump over walls, which lets it act like a Mini-Flash, and it gives you an insane amount of damage with it's basic damage + scaling. And on top of that, it acts like a Mini-Zhonyas which makes you untargetable for a specific amount of time that you can choose (by hitting E earlier or later). And if that wasn't enough, it also slows the enemy for a short amount of time, making it easier to basic attack them. And if you say that wasn't enough aswell, at Level 18 it has a cool down about 4 seconds.
Just because of his E most of his kit got pretty much nerfed to the ground, mostly damage wise, and he still is viable with it. And the fact that it even gets more powerful inside of his kit, since he technically has two gapclose, there is only one champion that has a Mini-Zhonyas inside of his basic abilities - Vladimir's W - which is not nearly as strong as Fizz' E. Every other champion that has a Zhonyas like effect (Lissandra, Bard, Taric, Kayle) have it as an ultimate abilite AND then it rarely does anything besides it (but Lissandra - it either bursts an enemy and slows her or makes huge damage and slows enemies and heals her).
Every champion has a unique ability but I think he was able to make a pretty good list of them.
My top 3 basic abilities in LoL are:
3. Yasuo windwall, able to block pretty much anything for a whole teamfight, while your team can do whatever they want.
2. Yasuo Q, an On-Hit effect that deals bonus - ranged - aoe dmg with no cooldown at all.
1. Yasuo E, a Dash with 1.xx seconds cooldown that deals damage and gets you a shield to block incoming damage.
Guess what the best ultimate ingame is!

What about Ahri's charm ability? it's like a mini insec, cc's you for a very long time and deals a fair amout of damage. Also, I think Twisted Fate's pick a card ability is insane. you can use it to stay in lane, deal AoE damage to grouped enemies, and the gold card is a 1.5 - 2.5 seconds stun on a basic ability with a very very low cooldown.
