- #Atari8bit #shadowofthebeast prototype from 1990.
The were many games for the #Atari 8bit computers that were started but never saw the light of day. Shadow of the best is a playable "Beta" about 25% complete.

Nice to see these prototypes being introduced and played
Never heard about this prototype. That's really interesting, thanks.
Love the parallax!
The Atari 8-bit had the best colour palette of any of the 8-bits.
It's nice to see the 8 bit Pokey properly utilized.
This port is insane for an 8bit!
@@DirkDierickx right!?
Semi playable is still more playability than the original 😂
@@corgiGY hahahaha! Yep!
Looks fantastic so far.
Have you considered a 7800 version, because there are a lot of Plus and 7800 system owners that would want Shadow Of The Beast in their collections?
@@DaveMoorland-zv3tn the 7800 would be awesome. This isn't our demo, but you are right.
It looked better than the ST version!
@@arifeldman6365 to be fair, THE ST has the capability to easily replicate this 8bit version in the right hands. The STE could get Amiga cmose in similarity capable hands .
@@IntoTheVerticalBlank True. I've seen some very technically impressive games, but it really took skill.
