People can say what they want about the game, but I think we can all come to the agreement that this menu theme is probably one of the highest points for JA:BIA.
the music is indeed great, gave me a good feeling when i read the intel and built my first squad for the first time before launching the first mission, what is that xcom remake you were talking about?? there is another remake????
Its the only high point, as a game it isn't bad, as a remake of ja2 it's a complete failure and i hope either someone can heavily mod it, or the guys that "remade' it will never consider butchering a franchise like that ever again. It has 0 of the fun things that ja2 had, it's jsut a modernized version of commandos 2, nothing more. Here's hoping xcom remake will be at least decent.
oh nvm i see that X-com is another JA type of game, not a company that would remake JA :'( i dont like the futuristic genre tbh, i love the JA period of time using modern current warfare, why did this plan and go gameplay got in so heavily into the modern games and the turn based gameplay almost vanished? the turn based leave you with a feeling of much more in depth planning and attention to details, like playing a glorified chess game, and its great. why is it vanishing nowadays??
Only good thing about this game is the score. I hope they would make a new Jagged Alliance game as how it was in it's original design and with original developers. The plot could be where Lucas Santino's son is seeking revenge for his father's death only it could be situated in some neighboring island or islands of Metavira. You hear me ex Sir-Tech crew? Get it done.
every strategy game with the ability to pause the game and issue orders, hell even red alert can be paused and we can issue orders while we pause, thats not tactical turn base strategy, plan and go is just a grand name for pausing and not freezing the game interaction completely while you do it, sucks
