Yung Pizzabagel Hell no, Dr. J back in the ABA days was king, He made the Rucker’s more famous. People all over came to watch Dr. J. Stop it, Durant is a great scorer but he wouldn’t touch Dr. J popularity back in the 70’s.
Pleaseeee. You should react to, "the story of the decade." It's a few months late but it's a great video. The editing is insane. It really captures what's happened over the decade. It's by NothtingButAmazing. Like so luka can see
To build off that first Trae Young clip, good defense isn't really highlight worthy stuff. The best defenders in the league aren't the ones that get the most blocks or steals, it's more about positioning, effort, switchability (being able to defend multiple positions), and playing as a team. You could see clips with amazing defense that don't include a block or steal and you probably wouldn't be able to appreciate what you just saw because it's not very flashy. In that first clip Trae got crossed up but that's not really what makes him a bad defender. Everybody has gotten crossed over, even the best defenders in the league. What makes Trae a bad defender is that he can't guard more than one position really, he can't really contest shots because he's so small (contesting is far more important than just getting blocks) among other reasons. If you watch teams like the Bucks or Raptors you'll see awesome team defense, and you probably wouldn't even realize it because of how under the radar it is compared to the crazy offensive highlights. One big thing to learning the game is to be able to understand the defensive side of the ball better.
Just small key things in general aren’t really shown. People will watch guys like Steven Adams play and only really see that raw stuff in highlights l. But watching guys set screen, seeing how effective they are. Watching hi curry distorts an offense with off ball movement. Watching how Cp3 works a pnr. Things like that aren’t highlighted because they only show the end result and not the lead up. It’s more exciting to see the shot then the setup, or the block rather than the way the big plays the lane after a pnr, covers his space to contain the drive, force the pass inside, and recovers for the contest. People just don’t like fundamentals. U have to really understand the nuances of the game to enjoy it. Causal fans and people who never played don’t really care.
You should react to KOT4Q reacts, it’s KOT4Q’s second channel and he reacts to nba highlights, his comments are helpful in understanding history and stuff
Luka, I just wanted to thank you for your vids man. It is somehow more fun to watch NBA highlights with someone who isn't as familiar with the sport. You are doing great and I think 100k subscribers will happen faster than you think. Cheers from the US
12:10 an ankle breaker is when the defender falls to a move made by a offensive player if they don’t fall but still get put off balanced is often referred to as getting “crossed”
12:10 Ankle-breakers are generally any dribbling move that leaves a defender looking silly. It's often them falling, but it doesn't have to be. That one on Doncic is maybe the least ankle-breaker-y, but I guess it still counts.
You should do Damian Lillard best 3’s or best clutch plays from his career. Honestly anything that shows his whole body of work rather than just this seasons highlights
Luka gotta say as some one who is huge in mlb nfl and nba it’s interesting to see a different countryman do it. Guessing ur from England or Scotland just guessing I have no idea about that lol. Anyways love ur vids man keep em ip
I’m just warning that basketball games aren’t really similar to the highlights. For example if I watched soccer highlights I would see a bunch of skill moves, long shots, and amazing saves. Then I go and watch a game of soccer and see build up play and parking the bus for 90 minutes.
you should check out the god shamgod video.. who has a move named after him.. who kyrie, damien lillard, etc uses now. th-cam.com/video/ajuN0x_St08/w-d-xo.html
Ankle Breakers are somewhat of a rare occurrence. Definitely not guaranteed to see 1 in a game
At 8:06 the announcer actually stole that line from the NBA TH-camr Chris Smoove, it was kind of a meme for awhile.
GIVE THAT GUYY A MAP
In 8:05 the commentator stole that line from chris smoove
I forgot about what highlight, in where the commentator actually said "THATS SOME CHEESE"
I know there is a really good video of Durant dominating a pick up game in Rucker park
The vid that made him my fav player it’s a fire vid
A lot of NBA players have dominated Rucker Park, Dr. J is the most famous one among all NBA players.
@@Chris_EE KD is more famous then Dr. J.
During the lockout season right

8:37 clearly stepped on his foot but it's ok
When luka tries to explain how epic something is: Thats STUPID
Haven't seen ur vids for a bit but i'm surprised how he knows most of the NBA stars. You've come a long way lol
Ankle breakers are when they fall. But sometimes a move is so good it has to be included in these compilations even though they don’t fall
the best part about these videos is that i can really see how much youve learned about american sports
You gotta watch Allen Iverson’s mixtape if you truly want to see some of the best crossovers in history

Meh I don't like it when they show ankle breakers on big guys done by guards. That's like showing AD dunking on Kyrie..
12:11 wasn't an ankle breaker
You may not believe it but not only is Trae Young bad at defense, he’s literally almost the worst defender in the league.
