- This video provides an overview of shingles (Herpes Zoster), and the process in which it occurs in the body. It also discusses the various symptoms associated with shingles, the available treatment options., the various preventative strategies and other associated complications.

Wait hold on I have a question the video said
" One study said 0.1% to 0.3% of people under the age of 65 contract shingles. However over the age of 65 those numbers increase to 1.2%."
Then the video immediately said
"Another study said that 50% of Shingles cases occur in adults over the age of 65"
Is this implying that even though you have a higher percentage of contracting shingles when you're over 65 years old because of the population size of where these studies were done, it is still a 50/50 split on the shingles rate between the below 65 and above 65 demographics.
