People sleep on Danny Brown way too much on this track. His entire verse is basically a love letter to Detroit, if you look into the bars. He absolutely killed it. If people are really that turned off by his voice, they are doing themselves a disservice.
What he says is fire but first of all you can’t hear a single word he says. His whole delivery of bars and the way he sounds takes away from the song and damaged its replay value. I personally listen to a version where someone has edited out his verse because it’s whack. What you say may be fire but you have to have good delivery and sound aswell, bars aren’t the only thing in the world that matters
@@ryanmitchell2774 Once you acclimate yourself to the way someone speaks, you can have a greater appreciation for what they’re saying. I personally just got used to his voice and now he sounds like any other person to me. He isn’t like any other rapper and his voice is the first thing that tells you that. Em had him on here for a reason- just like how Em doesn’t LOOK like other rappers, Danny doesn’t SOUND like other rappers. But they still spit regardless.
That being said I can’t hate on you if you don’t vibe with how he speaks. It’s an audio based art so shit if you personally ain’t down you ain’t down I don’t blame you. At least you can say he was spitting 😂 Just not for you and I can respect that, man.
