Remembrance Sunday at Nitshill War Memorial 2021

At Nitshill War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday 2021 over 200 people attended a service to remember the Fallen. This annual event is now in its fourth year and has the support of community groups, local people and politicians.
By the end of Remembrance Sunday 24 wreath were laid at the memorial.

Great footage, I'm originally from Barrhead and my Uncle Jim has a memorial garden for ex-servicemen there. Great to see the people of Nitshill paying respect to the fallen.

Its nice to know that major works will be happening on this site its long overdue, although i have seen ppl over the summer months trying to keep it tidy
