1 month of being Erin's mom: 1 month of motherhood from my POV👧🏻👩🏻💜 | Single Mom Diaries

I have been documenting my days with Erin. Here are some of my thoughts on how motherhood has treated me in the first month of her newborn stage. I am hoping if other mothers come across this video, regardless of your circumstance, this video will encourage you to keep moving forward in the life long journey of motherhood. I don't have traditional advice to provide, nor do I think I will ever become that person for other people.
To me, my purpose is simply to share my story and provide my POV in not only being Erin's mom but my experience as a parent to a child for the first time. I think being a first time parent is a magical experience, and I am so happy I have been chosen to experience something as beautiful and life changing as this role in life. I think there is something specifically powerful in being a single parent.
I want to show an honest and genuine experience as a parent, one that Erin can look back on and smile when watching. I wish every mother could share this common experience but every mother and their baby's journey is special in it's own way. I hope this video expires parents out there to see the humanity in ourselves during this early stage of being a mom.

Aw 🥹 honestly I’m really happy you enjoy watching them! ❤️ listen, people are always going to have something to say when you choose a path in life that doesn’t follow the societal norms. Everybody’s got an opinion on other peoples circumstances but I promise you when you become a single mom, you are going to wear that title in life with honor and pride. You are doing a two person job and gods good, he’s going to bless you and watch over you and your little one. Being a single mom is nothing more or less than being any other parent. That’s how I look at it. And honestly, doing it solo is SO stress free. Just make sure you protect your peace for your baby’s sake and ofcourse you ❤️ motherhood is amazing and it looks like so many things, it’s not just one linear concept. People try to make it seem that way, that raising a child can only be one way. Promise you, your baby is going to look at you like you are the most magical person out here. It’s going to make you feel good!! Congratulation on becoming mommy ❤️ it’s the best job in the world 🥲
