Lol funny story, just because the dog sniffing part reminded me when I got held back cause I had beef/pork jerky in my bag and ofc the dog was attracted and when the securtiy opened my bag we both were like "oh" BUT YEAH never will I have food in my bag again lmaoo
I'm with you, I started cruising in the 80's and I still like the older style ships. I was on the original Carnivale which was most definitely smaller.
We booked a cruise on this ship for April of 24. It will be our first time on the Paradise. We are taking friends who are first time cruisers. Our first cruise was on the retired and scrapped Sensation. My wife and I really enjoyed that ship. We were recently on the new Celebration. Holy sheeeeeit that's a big boat! I think there are places on her that we never seen. It will be nice to get back to this class of ship. Safe sailing!
I am very glad to see an older cruise ship like the Paradise still in operation. I love the vintage interiors as much of it reminds me very much of the older ocean liners of the past. My first cruise was on the Imagination in 2005 and then sailed on the Inspiration in 2007 out of Tampa. I really enjoyed both of those ships a lot and feel more inspired to go out again, this time on the Paradise. Great video!!!!
My very 1st cruise was on the original Carnival Celebration in 1995 ( yes I said 1995..lol) been on the Sensation ( no longer a ship for Carnival) Destiny ( Now the Sunshine) after that switched to Royal caribbean..recently wenton the Norwegian Encore in April and November 26th on the Carnival Magic out of Miami...enjoyed your vlog
@@allgoodontheroad , I like the conquest class , Dream class : Layout flow ( been on Carnival Liberty 2007 , Carnival Dream September 2010 , Carnival valor May 2012 , Carnival Freedom September 2014 , Carnival Glory 2015 & Carnival September September 2016 , September Carnival Magic 2017 / Also Carnival Senestion 1997 , Carnival Imagination 1999 & 2005 )
@Mrcruisefever1 i have been on all the classes of ships and my favorite is still spirit class. I really dislike vista and horizon, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that i had gotten used to Joe Farcas. Despite my concerns, i love excel class and will sail on the Jubilee in January.
I don't know if anyone has told you this, but I feel compelled to tell you. I was on this Ship a while back and didn't know half of the areas that you showed on your video! It was also during Hurricane ian where they closed the port of tampa and we got seven days instead of five! Great thoroughness in this video I don't see in others!! Just sayin'!! I know this might sound crazy but it's super cool when you show them loading ALL the food, The side entrances from the dining room I never noticed...Great job!! Subscriber for life!
I'm booked on the Paradise in September 2024. I selected this ship because the layout is similar to the Elation which I love. Went twice on Elation in 2022 & 2023. I went on Liberty January 2024 and thought the layout was extremely weird to me. I prefer the smaller ships. Thanks for the video!!
Go to my booking on Carnival for your cruise and select "gifts and stateroom decor", there is a search icon at the top of that page and search "water". You will have the options there to be delivered to your room. A 12 pack is now 14.95.
The seats were uncomfortable and the view was terrible no matter where you sat. The show was a once and done for us along with the comedians.we gave them all a go .
Yeah, the seats did turn out to be pretty uncomfortable, i talk about that in my full ships tour coming out Saturday. The view in the main lounge i cannot disparage though, mine was pretty good. The comedian was just not funny this time around for us.

@Anna-i8d oh my, that is both scary and wonderful!
You went to multiple places I didn't know about on the ship. Looking forward to the next video
Thank you!

Do they have a barbecue place on this boat
Hi Valeria, they do have a bbq place, it is not as big as on other ships, but it is good.

They really need to stop playing every thing Bob Marley. He wasn’t the only reggae singer. Please mix it up.
