Love the show. Nolan, even though naive at times, is a model cop and many younger ones can learn from him. I love how his biggest strength is his life experience.
As they were screaming, I just wanted to say "Okay, enough with the flirting! Jeez Louise, we could smell the chemistry from over here!" And just enjoy their reactions :-)
Suddenly reminds me of Castle, when he asks Beckett to look out for his daughter if he ever died. "She looks up to you. And if her boyfriend gets frisky you can shoot him"
Let's not forget that this is the same stupid that cancelled an ambulance and called the death on the scene without being a medic, coroner, nothing like that on the episode that Nolan killed that robber. She is as dumb as a door and still is a training officer.
@Saylor Smith i wasn't paying attention to anything, i was just looking at the moment where he was putting on the beanie and the next shot it's straight. Why you getting emotional cause that one little simple thing caught my eye
The Escape Room and the Briefcase both show that perps can be people too. Hopefully those two will take their exchanges to heart and turn their lives around: the kid in the Room looked like he was having fun and the guy who stole the briefcase seemed to like the small talk. "shrugs" It could happen. Also, Nolan playing with the drone at the end was adorable
Is it just me or the last one with the dealer...the evidence was circumstantial. Theres wasnt really any proof that all of that was his. Am I I wrong??
Circumstantial evidence is just as valid as direct evidence. The only difference is that for circumstantial evidence requires you to draw a conclusion based on an inference. For example, you see someone walk into a building with rainboots on and shaking out an umbrella. Based on that, you can reasonably conclude that it's raining- you don't need to physically be getting soaked to know that it's raining.
@Conservitarian 17 You can still convict someone with circumstantial evidence. It's definitely harder, but it's doable. Just because you only have circumstantial evidence, that doesn't necessarily mean that the defendant will get off. There have been numerous convictions built off of circumstantial evidence, including murder cases in which the body was never found.
@Conservitarian 17 oh, definitely! It depends how good the defense attorney is. The legal system is never definite. It solely depends on how well you can prove your case!
Nolan: *High five with the criminal* Bishop: *Nearly High five with the criminal* You are still under arrest The Criminal: D*mn it I thought they forgot
In this movie everything is opposite of real code. #1 in real life there is no argument back and forth when person is holding a gun. Cops would yell put the gun down and on slightest wrong move they would shoot the suspect. Because reality is different.
I thought they didn’t shoot because they didn’t have a clean line of sight and could hit each other like the guy said. Plus they know the suspect which may have influenced their actions 🤷🏿♂️
It's hollywood ,in real life you're wishing to become a fat donut eater who will shoot at anyone who scares him even if he's holding a stick of ice cream .An advice for you try to become a fireman ,you'll be loved respected and honoured your whole life .
Its great that you want to become an officer, however this show has a lot of inaccuracies. Not to say it's a bad show, but if you'd like a more realistic view of police actions, I highly recommend watching Donut Operator. Former U.S. Navy and police officer, who worked in his department's swat team. He breaks down viral police videos, and tries to give unbiased information on them, while also throwing in humor when he can.
You forgot to put the first scene in the first episode where Lucy (I think her name is) the rookie catches a bad guy on her way to her first day of work
Oh you people you don’t under stand guys can run the 100meters with a bullet in the heart gazers don’t work the entire time and you cant shoot him in the leg cause it could go through ricochet and hit some bystander
(1:54) In real life an officer would NEVER pepper spray a suspect and then taze them. There is a high risk that the suspect could catch on fire from the chemicals in the pepper spray reacting to the electric. But it’s still good and I enjoy it!
7:43, an officer is only required to read a suspect their rights if they are A. under arrest, and B. being questioned. So until he is questioned the officer does not need to tell him anything. And by running the suspect is resisting arrest, and the officer is allowed to use force, and tackling in this circumstance would not be considered excessive.
Oh I really remember when I was the rookie.....I purposely poured coffe on someone and cursed at my boss and nearky lost my hand on the first day,....now I’m one of the most respected....not cause of that tho😂 But as mean as it is it’s fun to push around rookies
I hope those two are still friends with the escape room guy lol that would be funny just hanging out and doing rooms like that as a get together I could see something like that happening lol
I've always loved it when Bradford and Nolan worked together. They make a great team!
Me too..
Nolan: High fives criminal after Escape room

I started laughing so hard

Wesley: 'Sit down kids. I've got a hella story to tell.'
You know that guy with the Drone with his drugs was pretty smart
Pretty smart only if the police officer weren't smarter
no hes stupid why if he has a drone does he stand in the spot where is controller is he could just fly it over
Wes smart but not too smart for an Officer
I was like wow he should be a cop!
and nolan did not have his gloves on when he was touching it, so it can now be thrown out of court.
Guess castle finally got to be a cop 😅 just found this show.
haha love it
Bet you dollars to donuts that why they wanted to cast him
Bruh the guy plays buck in halo and the player is called "rookie". This show is called the rookie lol.
he's better with out stana katic dragging him down
My roommate just got me into Castle. Nathan Fillion is a great actor.

Pepper spray is flammable when in contact with taser lol
Only certain types - usually those with a chemical compound are, but those which aren't, like synthetic chili (PAVA) can be used with Taser.
