Cedar Point is definitely the best thing for coaster lovers. The fact that I live in Florida and have gone to Cedar Point more times than Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld combined shows how much some people like myself love the park.

can say that the flying snake dive on ride to Happiness is really a creazy element! I am so glad that this coaster is in one of my home parks, it is just so good! And this is a great list!
5:08 SDC is a park that needs to be experienced. On paper, the ride collection looks good but not spectacular. But the theming, rides themselves, atmosphere, operations, cave tour, staff, etc. are why people love Silver Dollar City. One of the best parks in the country by far, which is why I'm super thankful it's my home park.

How’s the restraints?
Restrains are really comfortable, you are flying out of your seat and vest gives you a lot of freedom (something like seat belts in the cars). Trains are also great, as a tall person I really appreciate great legroom there.

Silver Dollar City is way more than just Time Traveler. The wait times are never that bad (except for winter and maybe middle of summer), and they have a solid lineup. They have friendly employees, great food, great environment, and it’s a THEME park. You really feel like you’re in a different world, that’s because Branson is in the middle of nowhere anyways
yeah and the day after thanksgiving, it took us 1 and and half hours WITH FAST PASSES to get on.
*American coaster community. For the European list, replace Cedar Fair with Europa Park, Time Traveler with Ride to Happiness and Velocicoaster with Taron.
As someone who's been on 50 roller coasters, most in California, Xcelerstor is my favorite purely because of that launch.
I'll see you love for on board audio and raise you a "coastoons should get hired for on board audio" because the music choices on the videos I've seen are immaculate. I can already hear the smooth groove at 4:27 on a B&M hyper/giga.
Technically the "flying snake dive" on ride to happiness isn't a flying snake dive since it doesn't do the 270 dive at the end of it, but rather a dive loop
I worked Keys to the Kingdom in 2020. Kentucky Kingdom treats all of their employees like royal garbage so having some polite thoosies around was nice. lmao

One of my hobbies is hiperfixating on weird communities and the coaster community is one of the most peculiar for me because we really don't have a huge amusement park culture here in Brazil so my friends are just like "why the fuck do you care about roller coasters?"

I think the reason coaster credits exist is to get an opinion of the ride, most enthusiasts seem to agree that Vekoma SLC's are generally terrible. However some aren't that bad, if you ride one that isn't that bad, you will be pleasantly surprised. If you only ride the coasters that seem really good you will never be pleasantly surprised. The most important reason is probably still that you can brag about your coaster count tho.
0:47 That depends on the park. VelociCoaster’s single rider line takes longer than the actual line tbh. The normal queue is almost non stop moving. Besides you usually can’t choose a seat when your in single rider lines…
I think the speed of the single-rider line depends on the vehicle. I find that rides with 2 seats across almost never make a good single-rider while the four-across usually do. Way more potential for empty seats.

@@SunshineStateCoasters No idea. Last time I went to Busch Gardens Tampa, Shiekra didn't have one, which was really frustrating since there were a lot of empty seats. (this was pre-pandemic).

as one who took time out of my day to do nothing but ride xcelerator all day (was only able to ride 7 times in a row before i kinda got bored) i can tell you that launch in insane.

Is " crowd-level" one of those things? I know I spend inordinate amounts of time scheming to avoid crowds and have awesomely fantastic days at the park. For instance, I saved my CP trip until yesterday. Sept 2nd. A Thursday about two weeks after school resumed. Weather was lovely and I had everything on my list knocked out between noon and three! That left the rest of the day for re-rides. Re-rides are another fantastic "thing" I think.. 🌞 especially when you get three of them on SV 💛
Nitro night rides are actually really good I road it in the winter so it may be a little slow but it’s really dark out there

Hot take: nitro is the most underrated B&M hyper. Look how well it has aged. By far my favorite hyper I’ve ridden so far. Could use a repaint tho. And that double helix before the break run is so strong. Still have yet to ride another hyper with an element that made me grey out.

Xcelerator's launch is currently the 3rd fastest accelerating launches of any operating rollercoaster. Dodonpa was by far the fastest but with that not operating the top 3 are now very close, having experienced the 2nd fastest acceleration (stealth, thorpe park) it really is incredible how sudden it feels
Please do a video on six flags making the new season passes more expensive while making it so the season passes don’t work at other six flags parks
I think he explained in the video but the giga break runs are that tall so the train can roll out of them super fast downhill when there’s no one up ahead and not be holding up the block before it, same as a MCBR
You forgot about Lightning Rod [Because it is considered one of the best coasters by some (if not by most) coaster enthusiasts but also because it is well known for having a bunch of issues].
Just visited Cedar Point the first time this past weekend after wanting to go since they built Millennium Force.. It blew my mind, absolutely lives up to the hype.
Did you ride gate keeper? Thoughts? Its the #1 thing I want to do when I go there. Im worried im goingnto be disappointed
@@justkibby5959 Gatekeeper is excellent, I had fast passes and 2 days so I rode every open coaster 3-4 times per day. Gatekeeper was very comfortable, and gives you the sensation of flying. Definitely gives the best rides in the front and back rows. Front if you like smoothness, back if you like violence. It’s definitely one of the less intense rides in the park, but easily one of the more enjoyable rides. It didn’t feel too short, and the keyhole part is awesome. Twisting and facing the ground for the first drop is epic. It won’t disappoint you. The only rides I wasn’t crazy about were the Mine Train, and Maverick feels too intense. Steel Vengeance is also painful after the first ride. Millennium Force was the most “marathon-able” ride in the park imo, followed by Gatekeeper, as neither will give you a headache etc.
giga brake runs are so tall because reaching that height burns off a ton of speed, which helps slow the train down without burning through the friction brakes. so if the brakes were level with the ground, the gigas would be carrying a lot more speed, which means more stress on the train and brakes themselves, which means more maintenance and replancements

Giga break runs at tall because b&m doesn’t like to make coasters slam into the breaks, so putting it high off the ground the ride enters the break run around 25 mph instead of 50 if it was flat on the ground

Been on a few new gen vekomas at Energylandia this weekend. They are really smooth but neither of the three I've been on really impressed me. Abysus was sick but the first launch was meh and the overall layout isn't fantastic.
