2010 was around when I got into Star Wars and I still have my DVDs from the early 2000s for the films. Each of the prequels came with a second disc for bonus material whereas the original trilogy was a boxset that came with a fourth disc that included bonus material for all three original trilogy films
Agreed. I’m recently getting back into Star Wars and am thinking of purchasing this. Have no interest in the Skywalker Saga Box Set, for I really didn’t like Episode 7 or 8 and didn’t even see 9
Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Ep. I-VI): *Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) *Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) *Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) *Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) *Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1989) *Star Wars Episode IV: Return of the Jedi (1983) Production company: Lucasfilm Distributor: 20th Century Fox (currently 20th Century Studios)
My only complaint they do not have the unedited original trilogy in it. I prefer STAR WARS, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi over Episode IV,V,VI. Also before people get mad I consider Episode IV,V,VI as the special editions only. STAR WARS, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi are the theatrical releases of them. Personally how I differentiate them in my head.
The art for episode 2 infuriates me. Could have been Obi-Wan against Jango or a nice panned out view of Geonosis but no, a still of Anakin looking like he's at the urinal.
This Blu Ray set is wonderful but the packaging stinks. Get the Australian or European version where each disc is in its own plastic tray and the booklet has all the beautiful artwork.
STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE STAR WARS 2: ATTACK OF CLONES STAR WARS 3: REVENGE OF THE SITH STAR WARS 4: A NEW HOPE STAR WARS 5: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK STAR WARS 6: RETURN OF THE JEDI STAR WARS: BONUS DISC STAR WARS: BONUS DISC 2 STAR WARS: BONUS DISC 3

The only set worth getting. I refuse to acknowledge the sequel trilogy. So glad they made this set so nice.

The Empire Strikes Back released in 1980, but I’m guessing you just had a typo.
Some people say that the discs get scratched from being put in and taken out.The artwork is gorgeous!
Smoke detector needs batteries. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Doesn't this kind of packaging scratch the discs? I know the Alien: Anthology one does!
Check out the Australian and European packaging.

Is this edition still available in stores
I don't think so. Amazon or eBay would probably be your best bet to find a copy.
Review Plus Is there any chance of getting it brand new? I got the Indiana Jones collection brand new, it’s the same book style case.
I got mines used for $32
