Was thinking about getting back into paintball now that I have a big budget to get back into it like wanted to when I was younger. Looking around for dye m3+ issues. Thanks for the video.
What does that even mean? They bought it from ANS so they sent it in to ANS to get fixed. If they bought it from DYE then DYE would have fixed it. Know what you're talking about b4 you make negative comments brother
@@mattyboy947 Someone wants to be a pussie obviously I didn't listen to the video they sent it the dye to get it fixed and they couldn't so they sent it to a in ans gear which they purchased it you fucken idiot
MattyBoy sorry dude u made urself sound stupid xD no matter who you buy a marker from brand new it comes with a factory warranty. Whether or not he bought it from ANSgear is irrelevant he sent it to the manufacturer aka the engineers that designed the damn thing and they couldn't fix it but a third party could xD pretty sad
@@maxxon99 i agree and disagree im not 100% sure of course but the wiring not being under the board makes me think they repaired and either the finish inside of the manifold or compromised orings whether it be poor material or etc and it reblew or the spool orings were installed incorrectly
From México, thank u!!! Just yesterday I had the same air leak, I'm going to follow your steps one by one to be able to repair it... Could you tell me what the size of the o ring you used?
I’m having issues with my m3+ trigger …the magnet set screw always moves on me to where my trigger switch won’t engage, idk why I have to adajust it Everytime I use it. What should I do
I have an m3s+ that occasionally I'll notice is leaking after a point. Turn the Asa on/off unscrew the tank and put it back on. Still leaks. As soon I fire a shot it stops leaking. Ideas?
I had this same issue. Firing a shot resolved it, until it didn’t. My issue was the exact same issue in this video. Solenoid Rod oring was shredded. There was no lube in the noid….
Didn't take you long to fix. Extremely cheap part. How much was charged to fix his marker? I know it's none of my business. But I'm curious. If that's ok.
Nothing gets charged to the owner, unless it's the owners fault like not maintaining the gun and something breaks or the take apart their gun and accidentally screw something up and it causes issues then ANS will charge them. Also ANS doesn't fix guns that weren't bought directly from them no matter what. Your can't send a gun that was bought outside in for repairs.
@@mattyboy947 Not technically correct. We are an authorized Planet Eclipse warranty center so any planet gun, no matter where you bought it can be sent in for warranty/repair. If you are a local customer to our retail store, you can bring anything in and drop it off for repair even if it was not purchased from us. If you bought from your local shop, then try and support that local business when looking for repair or help. If they won't give support and you have no other options, give our customer service a call and we can try and work something out for you instead.
@@rorymellin4687 I am going directly off of what was told to me by your respectives multiple times. If what you're saying is the case then what's definitely great. But many people don't know that so I would emphasize that in an upcoming video you do so people know. Thanx for the update man
“Sent it to Dye, came back with the same problems”
Yup that’s typical Dye, actually B-Wing broke 2 of my NTs before.
Nice find on the problem, and loved the meticulous detail of replacing the wiring back in it's nook.
Would love to see an M3+ vs DSL internals comparison! Thanks for all the awesome videos!
I love these markers but really wish they'd come out with higher quality screws and grips that don't rip so easily.

Can we get Rory a portable/clip-on mic for the top down shots?
Excellent series! If you work on old school impulses from the early 2000s I'd be very interested!
My only comment is; "That gun looks boss!"
That's sad dye cant even fix thier own guns!!!!!! Thank u rory

@@GetHype4Life From the looks of it, they didn't even bother seriously trying.

Thanks this was a lot of help I had the same problem with mine
Could you post a link for dm14 orings for the spool/ solenoid replacement shown in video
I wish they still had this color available, it's the best one and should be the only one! Why oh why would they not have the best color!!!
Size and link on where to find the orings
👍🏼 good fix,
dye needs to do a better job in their quality control department.
Specially when spending my life’s savings on an expensive marker 😂
😅
dye screws are indeed very flimsy, they strip too easily, i used the right wrench and still had to use a drill bit to take stripped screws out

Is that just an anti-stick spring like Geos have?
Thank you for this helped me a loy
Rory the tech gawddd
Still loving these videos.
Resale is going to drop even more now with all the shots on the shot counter. Lol. Awesome, very helpful info Rory.

Could be Bolt stick. Clean the bolt and make sure it’s not missing any parts.
Could be one of the can orings. The one the bolt slides back and forth on, are the usual suspects.

Do an azodin because they break every time lol

Mine does that too and I have to adjust the magnetic set screw on the trigger and it fixes it but it happens Everytime I use it
Gun teching in three words: Change the o-rings.
Ples help my m3+ leak
wait so the owner sent this to dye and they could not fix it for him?! just sent it back? terrible
He got a lemon one 🤣

why don't you use soapy water or Windex to find the leak? Obviously don't spray it on the board.
