  • My foil placement will cover all your bases without overdoing it. It also works with the modern idea of lightness concentrated around the hairline. Not to be particularly bold but to mimic the natural lightening process of the hair. Learn how not to over foil and be thoughtful with your placement. Learn how to create lightness in the right areas.

    this is probably the best video i have seen so far thank you a lot!
    7:34 - 10 vol at the back(3%), 20 vol at the front(6%).
    8:05 - folding the foils
    8:30 - starting the crown section
    10:25 - what to do with the hair tat's left (at the back area).
    15:17 - Front area
    27:43 - hair that's left out at the front (using 1.5% peroxide)
    31:40 can also be used for balayage.

    Great idea stacking the foils all together on the board , instead of grabbing one foil at a time like I do.

      Can I add 40% and a high lift blue powder to do foils in my hair??? And I've got a frost white toner fot after,because I want my hair to look white. I'd appreciate any advice please.

    Excellent tutorial!! I am a retired hair colorist, corrective colorist and I spend a couple hours a day watching these type of videos on TH-cam! I so enjoyed your video! My first job as a hairstylist out of cosmetology school, my co-worker introduced me to “the board”!!! This exact method was what I learned and applied for 4 years of my early career! Then I went to work at a two story Luxury Salon and Spa and swiftly my board was banished from my drawer!!!!! I had to learn how to foil just like you are without my board! It was really difficult and as I have ALOT OF DETERMINATION!! I Mastered the “board less perfect weaved highlight! You are very good at what you do! Thank you for bringing back almost forgotten memories!!

    Was randomly served this video by the tube and I’m glad. It’s so nice to see an Aussie hairdresser using the same processes you so often see American hairdressers using.
    I’ve never had an Aussie HD do such an in depth service but you look like you’re taking your time and doing those baby sections and lights and the result is beautiful and natural. Love that you diluted the toner for the ends. Hadn’t considered this option and it’s a great idea.
    Also, good on you for sharing a longer video. Most people seem to be afraid to share the whole process. Have subscribed and girl, I’d love to see you tackle a streaking cap! I know they’re old school and generally frowned upon but Robson Peluquero does amazing stuff.

    • @blushgirl.
      @blushgirl.  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanksyou so much very kind. yes i love the idea of just diluting for the ends instead of mixing a million different toners. omg i dont know if i could use it i should definitely try

    • @nofapSally
      @nofapSally 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’d make a great video because everyone is so anti-cap! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻Having said that, I don’t think all are created equal. The professional ones I’m seeing used are massive and cover the entire head unlike those for home use. I find they’re difficult and don’t extend all the way to the hairline around the neck.

    I love the results 😍 I would love to see more videos on your color techniques & on you mixing the lighter/color/toners, using styling products & a salon tour! I’m really interested in seeing how different brands are & how to formulate with different brands. I went to an Aveda school & worked strictly with aveda color only for several several years and have just started trying other brands this year & other color lines are so confusing to me compaired to Aveda color.. I was recently looking into switching to o&m & oway or Kevin Murphy but I can’t find any videos on others using the color and not many people in my area in the states use o&m or oway. Love your video & thanks for sharing it with us!! keep the great content coming please!!

    You said you’d over toned it slightly? I think it looks beautiful. In my opinion the toning was spot on. Gorgeous results ❤️

    Why did you not pull the lightener through the the dark ends that were in of some of the foils? I was admiring the entire video but that stumped me 🤔
