Jordan that was a good job at explaining everything, I retired in 2016 as a supervisor and what I would tell a new CCA was be aware of your surroundings and be safe, I would also have the carrier that is casing to make sure to simplify the mail so the carrier understands where there going, I also would visit that carrier and walk with the carrier and try to help them because I carried for 10 years and I would make sure they had my cellphone number because I needed to know if they needed help and for me 2:00 pm was call time if you needed help. I know that today’s supervisor just look at there reports but unless you’ve actually carried for an extended period you don’t get it. Stay safe and remember street time and office time, if you go outside and load parcels then punch out to street time and then punch back in to office time, saves that discussion with a supervisor when there questioning your times when they are walking around with Dois reports😉
Follow the mail, line of travel and right turns. Case your flat’s first (ffs) then your letters. So letters are in front of magazines. U fine ma
My feet hurt and I have corns… I’m too slow and tired
Is this because of doing the cca job?
@@tonymctony4551 yeah too much walking and satchel heavy…my shoes is terrible too
I start next week as a CCA, what is your best advice to starting as a CCA?
Take your time and make sure you're delivering to the correct addresses. If you try to be fast starting out you'll end up making mistakes and make the route a lot longer. Everybody starts off slow and the supervisors know this. As long as you're improving that's all the matters.
You'll get faster naturally as you get more comfy.
I did this job and I worked there for 2 months, and now they terminated me.
For what reason?
@@U.Odyssey They said my performance was poor and I was too slow, I felt like I did a good job there but they let me go.
It's not for everyone. 31 years in
USPS does not care about they employees. It's all about numbers smh. My health comes first
@@CarmenCordero-tm9cc so far i been in 5 months and past my 90 days, i think im doing good
I just got hired as a RCA .., will I have time to work 2 jobs ? I work at the airport now & clock in at 6:30pm also ! What’s does it mean to become carrier? Can a RCA become a carrier?
Short answer, it’s possible. Video on this coming soon! Thank you for watching
& yes, an RCA can change positions and become a City Carrier
What’s the pay
$19.33/hour
Do CCA only deliver to businesses or do they deliver to both businesses and residential areas?
Everything
Can you do this as a parent
can? yes. but will you see your children as often as you do now? no
You’ll most likely work long hours. The day usually starts at 8am to 6pm sometimes later and you will work Saturdays.
Probably a little more that a traditional 40 hour job but at least your child will get happy meal every day , lol , Idk . I may do the cca position.
in a FEW hours is my driving test. I should be sleeping but Im watch your videos.. smh lol
Mine is next week, what state you work? Let me know how it goes bro
did you pass, I almost didn't pass mine. the instructor skipped lunch to train me more on it. [im now 5 months in, time flew by real fast] I got hired in january, oh and btw be prepared to work 59 hours a week and get sent to other stations, and do NOT go over 12 hours or 60 hours or you'd get in trouble
@@JoshuaCarVlogs I passed. Im in NY. I failed the test back in January but I this time was the teachers were much more easy going
@@tangothomas6015 I passed Im now in Academy now.
@@ThisIsGeltownhow you liking the job ?
On average what is the most a cca can make?
That depends on your office and the mail volume it has. For example, Mail Carriers in DC make around 2500-3000 a check, but they work long hours. For other office the ceiling isn’t that high. I will be making a video breaking down USPS CCA pay & tips to make sure you’re making as much as possible! Please subscribe if you’d like that type of content. Thank you for watching!
Is this bi- weekly or weekly

Yes, pending results of fingerprints & background check. Congratulations & thank you for watching!
You are beautiful.
So they don't pay for your accident they just fire you easier 😂
Heres what you do get injuired hope managment fires you then sue and win a settlement around 150k.
I heard about that lol
yup especially in california, where the laws are really strict against firing somebody forgetting injured on the job.
Something got be not going right. Heard so much horror stories. Even suicide
This is obviously fake. No way a Letter Carrier can be this pretty
What are flats?
Yeah I thought letters were flats 😅
Flats=magazines, larger envelopes.
Flats 🥿
What’s a Bump?? They give me cocaine for reward? 👃
unless youre living in a small town that has very few homes, dont be a cca. remain an rca.
Do they drug test?
I’m in central FL and they did not drug test. They do conduct background and fingerprints.
How long ago was that? I used to work for the po in 2021 and they didn't, but my area is having a hiring event soon. @@chriscoop6852
I had to take a drug test 37 years ago.
You kinda cute
Thank you for this video! super informative. And dude, shes hella cute.

Please. Privatizing essential services is a disaster for the end user. Look at healthcare! The costs have skyrocketed while the quality goes down, just so a few people at the top can get richer.
I don’t know what I got myself into lol I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I applied and start my fingerprints and stuff October 25th. I hope it’s not too much work. I’m not that big which is crazy but mannnn I need this job.
It's obviously not something you'll be able to do while pregnant.
Your 100% going to need a 24/7 baby sitter. Your schedule will never be fixed and you will not know your off day if any. First 120 days of work you cannot be late or call off.
Do they drug test?
Assume they do.
no they do not
@@dulcemeraz2001 thanks
Not unless you get in a vehicle accident during work.
Yes do only during hiring process
