Dr. Linda Martin is DEFINITELY a regular and maybe even the most crucial character. What you said at the end of the pilot "The Devil is going to see a therapist?" is basically a mini-summary of the show. It's all about the character development of Lucifer and the people around him, and Linda always offers a chance to reflect on that.
You're really perceptive! I've watched a lot of Lucifer reactions, and you're at the top of the list in seeing the deeper meaning of events as they unfold. It's good that you sometimes pause the video to make observations, so you don't end up missing key dialog. The scene where Lucifer's bravado changes to vulnerability when Chloe expresses concern about his wing scars is sooo good, and you were right on top of it! I also love your analysis of Chloe's internal turmoil just before she shoots Lucifer. You can see this in her body language, trying to shake off her fear and be rational, but ultimately giving in to it. Tom gets many well-deserved kudos for realizing a compelling Lucifer, but Lauren IMO is equally excellent in portraying the human reaction to the divine. Their dynamic give and take makes the show the joy that it is.
I love your reactions to one of these best written and performed series of all time! I wish you made these a bit longer, but I know the copyright trolls are waiting to pounce. Hint, the typical trigger for the tube to remove a video is 10 minutes of screen time of the show. Several other reactors put a timer on the screen time they show of Lucifer and if you stay under that 10 minute trigger, your video will be fine. (so you can show a bit more than you do now, which all the Lucifans will appreciate)
Lucifer on a 5-step programme to manliness, who'd have thought? 😅 I love how excited he gets at bleeding for the 1st time since literally before the universe began! Great reaction!
I mean he must have bled when Maze cut his wings off (cutting off two major appendages is BOUND to cause some bleeding, even with super healing), but it's the first time something earthly made him bleed.
I keep telling myself that I’m going to wait until you have 4 or 5 Lucifers up and then binge watch them on a lazy day. However, I can’t seem to resist watching a new Lucifer as soon as I see that it is there, especially this episode. There are a lot of episodes that I love, but this episode was what got me really hooked on Lucifer. I really enjoyed your reaction to all the humor and the naked wonderfulness that is Tom Ellis (Lucifer). Wish you could do more per week, but realize that you are doing a lot of shows already so I’ll just have to keep dropping what I’m doing to watch your reactions to Lucifer when they drop. 😊
At the end of each season you should check out the blooper reel, and you'll see that the chemistry between Lauren and Tom was very real and charming. It's interesting too because when they're not being their characters, Tom is a bit more reserved and Lauren is WAY goofier.
Lucifer and Trixie are Gold! From the line What’s a hooker I was hooked on the actress that plays Trixie. Like with the Detective the chemistry between them is perfect from the start.
I've seen many reactors asking episode after episode why Chloe does not believe him. But this episode is crucian on that explanation. On one hand, Chloe explains she does not have religious believes. When you believe the devil exists and you see a character who embodies the characteristics of the devil, it would be normal to ask yourself if that character really is the devil. When you don't believe the devil exists, anyone who claims to be what you think is a fictional character, for Chloe is the same thing if he claimed to be Thor, Quetzalcóatl or Flash Gordon.. Add the fact that his claim to invulnerability failed, she is not going to believe him easily.
I don't think you should say *_anything_* about "the way the series ends" when someone is still watching season 1. I know your comment is vague, so it's not like you've spoiled any specific definable fact for Sofie, but your comment still seems wrong to me.
@@divinelangene6813 He nearly ruins one man's life because he thinks he's letting him loose rather than pushing him into getting it on with a woman, who is then murdered because she's too nice to blackmail him.
I really love how you pay attention and understand the little things on the spot. So many reactors miss big clues and jokes.
I really love your reaction to lucifer, we need more of this.

It’s so much fun watching Lucifer with your reactions.

Lucifer's inability to understand why Chloe doesn't just hop right into bed with him is one of the funniest gags of the series . . .
"Why are your clothes still on?"
"I ask myself that all the time"😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
It's such a joy to see you react to Lucifer! Thank you!
Your reaction is great, it's a pleasure to watch with such a clever and perceptive reactor - thank you!
I love when Lucifer embarrasses Chloe in large crowds or exposes an undercover operation. He just doesn't get it ! Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂

Can't wait for you to fall in love with Maze throughout the series

Lauren is wild😂😂😂, love their friendship in real life
Your unimpressed face during Carver's TED Talk 🤣
It just makes me roll my eyes😂😂😂😂

Love this show, so glad you're watching!
when hell freezes ...........I can arrange that....
4:04 when hell freezes over, Lucifer! -- i can arrange that, actually. 😎

I wish you'd do 2 episodes per week bcs this is just not enough 😂😂😂 I want you to get to the good stuffs already! 🤗
They're not Damon and Elena. They're Klaus and Cami. And Buffy and Spike.
Can't wait until you see Mazikeen's real face. She was a demon, hell's greatest.
I believe he calls her "chief torturer", but of the ones we see, she's the most intelligent and perceptive. Many of the others are kind of dumb.
Yaaaas.
Lucifer is such a troll
At least he doesn´t kill babies for fun.
I wish this show had shown us hell frozen over at least once!.. 😅
Or the flaming inferno Lucifer himself mentions it is... maybe Hell's so vast they're on different levels?🤔
Linda is not only a regular, she effectively sets up the way the series ends. The whole cast is just wonderful.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
True, Linda is really amazing , and they all have some purpose in the show

The Expanse, gotta react to it some day!
I can't remember why he got hurt. But if she is immune to his other ability. Maybe she is the only one who can hurt him too.
I don't always understand why people think, especially this early in the series, that Lucifer is attractive for anything other than his pretty face.
What do you mean?
