I remember the Hot Dog Shop, am from Butler County originally, grew up there, (Butler County) lived in the City proper 1981-82, then after Pullman Standard closed, the unemployment was so high I left, got busy with a Career, and was only back once for a visit in 2006. Have so many good memories from there. Used to eat at Natalis sometimes too. When I was really little, there was this Diner in Butler, the kind that looks like a Trailer kind of, My Grandfather used to take Me in there, but I cant remember exactly where it was, I think there was a Tobacco Shop near it, where I got Comic Books, but memories fade sometimes after 50 years or so. (1970, 71,72)

My mom was born in Meridian twnsp and went to school at Lyndora in Butler during the mid-late 1940's and 1950's
She, her sisters and my Grandmother were in Butler often. We have photographs of them being taken by photographers who often took pictures of citizens shopping, walking up and down the sidewalks. My Uncle (mom's brother) used to work in a photographers shop in Butler during the 1950's as well.
