I wish I could say that things have changed, and people have started accepting others of all backgrounds, interests and lives, but it appears that in some ways our world is becoming more divisive than ever. QOTF is about owning whatever it is that makes you different and saying ‘your loss’ to the haters. I think what makes QOTF unique is that despite that THIS IS ME attitude, you can still feel the vulnerability around those decisions. It takes courage to be yourself, and sometimes it can feel lonely. But pretending to be someone you’re not is a far more lonely and isolating experience, and to many (like me) it’s just not an option anyway

Being schizophrenic and having an incredibly common and inconvenient trigger that makes me incredibly hostile and violent, I always feel like a freak. Both alienate me so much because I can't be normal and I'm just a hindrance so it's hard to have strength to go on. Hell I've been discarded and yelled at so many times that I don't actually have that strength or will anymore. I'm just too afraid of pain to die at this point but even that's wavering with each rejection I face. At this point I stopped talking to people all together for fear of future rejection. It's hard being an outcast or freak. I can't seem to own it though.

Sometimes, I check to see how a song might also sound at different rates, and use drumsticks to drum on my thighs to the beat. The plugin works from 0.1x to 16x, in increments of 0.1x. I played this song at normal, and ever 0.5x up to 5.5x, and the lyrics were still enunciated so that it was understandable. Beyond that, the beat still works, but the words blur too much. Still, for enjoyment as it is, or for remix potential on its own, or Nightcore remix of speeding it up, or mashups with songs at different tempos... this song is bangin'. And, the lyrics are just awesome regardless of the speed, on top of how it is sung. Another awesome track from AViVA!
