    Shaun Murphy, I just wanna tell you sth
    TH-cam is full of snooker coaches, but absolutely.. No one can teach us better than you.
    We all beg you to get back active on your channel and upload more coaching videos.

    Hello Magician. I usually keep track of your videos as they enlighten me through complete controle over the basics, rules and technics of the game. On behalf of everybody watching the videos, we appreciate and thank you for the hard work. Snooker is one of my favorite hobbies for after work leisure activities, and no manner how many hours I spend playing, I still can't get the cue to be straight through mu chin, and it hurts my back when doing that, which also causes me to miscue. Please guide me through how I can get a hold of that. much thankful for you man. Godd bless and goos luck!

    Shaun I really admire you excellence in snooker- if You had 30min a day for the next year what is the one drill/practice you would do as a “beginner” at snooker to start at becoming a state/provincial champion. I grew up with a pool&snooker table at home but never appreciated the skill and at 37 want to live up to it. So to reiterate what is the one drill I must practice to build first to become a champion in this sport? Many thanks in advance David

  • @batlin
    @batlin 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good tip about lifting your bridge hand off the table to confirm that you have your weight forward or not. I think my weight is mostly (maybe 70%) on my back leg, which means my hip obstructs the line of the shot, causing me to strike across the ball. Will have to experiment with weight distribution at the table, but can be hard to break very old bad habits!

    Hi Shaun, nie to see you're videos. They are really good and to the point.
    I myself as an advanced amateur player, I doubted many years about when playing with side, and when not.
    I would love to hear an explanation from you concerning that :). Iv'e talked with Tom Ford for example and he told me he almost uses a little side on every shots. Other ex-professionals like Bjron Haneveer I know says he rarely plays with side only when it's necessary. Some pots seemed easier for me playing with running side. Now after playing over 20 years I've started to change a lot of shots playing center cueball, where i was playing before with running side and as far as i know most shots seem a lot easier.
    Thank you very much if you would reply on this message.
