The sooner you have your place ready the more you get to enjoy it so yeah maybe those influencers also like that and that’s totally fine

I'm not sure if this person meant organizing or actually fixing their home- for example, there's NO way we could fix up our fixer upper home in a week (or even a few months) after moving in (financially and just mentally) and that's also okay! I think it just depends on your context. But I also think it's okay to do things slowly, just depends on your personality type. No right or wrong way to do it in my eyes!

I just declutterred my closet and guest bedroom (the dumping ground after Christmas) and it feels so good! This makes me motivated to keep going 💗

Maybe investing in a new bathroom vanity with lots of storage space will help with your bathroom space?
So while that's a great idea! Our upstairs bathroom is pretty crammed and we can't fit a bigger vanity in it so just have to live with it for now 😅 We have lots of renovation plans for all our bathrooms over the next few years so just need to be patient and wait until we renovate to get some more room!

Hey! If putting a picture in your office will make you happy, definitely do that in the mean time while you wait to open that wall for a closet! I feel like remodeling things always takes a little longer than expected and you can be happy in the mean time! Also the micellar water pads look like they’re just reusable cotton pads. So I don’t think they need to be used with only micellar water but they just market it that way. You can also look into getting a makeup caboodle!
I would wash the paint drop clothes and put them with the messy towels.

For your makeup, you could get a large makeup travel bag (since it will travel between where you store it and where you apply makeup)
Yep that's what I did & showed in the video!!! I do my makeup in the bathroom but it was the best storage solution!
My weak spot is purses and jackets or coats or that stuff mostly

The item you said you don't know what it is, you use it to sharpen your kitchen knives with usually they come with the knife blocks with their own slot. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets to stuff when i can 😊

It's just an IKEA Kallax unit! I just added drawers/doors to it to make it look a little less open- and the bins are also from IKEA!

You should move your records somewhere that you can store them upright! Storing vinyl flat can damage them 💕
We typically do store them upright- this is just a temporary spot since I repainted the nook they are normally in this week 😊

Can we be co-queens of putting random stuff in random boxes? I always feel like I've organised my life doing this when in theory, I've decluttered nothing and just made my space seem organised by having lots of cute bins, boxes and baskets full to the brim instead. At least everything is categorised though!

Yes I am aware, it was temporary for a day or two. The shelves they are normally on were just getting a fresh coat of paint!

What really bugs me to be honest is that you filmed your back quite often and many shots are just you organising stuff behind the camera so we see just the cupboard or stuff like that.

Hint, I kinda LOST interest in the first 4 minutes because.... we didn't get to see what you were decluttering because the video went too fast.
I had to speed up some of the footage or else this video would have been 2-3 hours long 😅 I prefer doing a mix of talking through the decluttering & B-roll!
