Ok I’m Christian and even in our Bible it talked about how in the end times many will call themselves the Messiah but they aren’t the real Messiah. There will be an Anti Christ who will claim he is the Messiah and deceive many people. Also I was surprised that I actually enjoyed watching this show. I thought it would be really bad but it’s not. I think the best part of this series is that it makes you think. As he says in the show that he is like a mirror, in that it is a reflection of yourself and your beliefs that you see. I like how it also links Judaism, Islam, Christianity in a realistic way. I appreciate how it rides a fine line between good and evil, right and wrong, miricle or coincidence so that you search within yourself not for answers to who he is, but instead who we are ourselves.

As far as I know the true Messiah only will come when the world in the middle of calamity, He will descend when the believer army was surrounded by the False Messiah's (AntiChrist) army. So before the True one there will be someone that try to deceive people by being imposter. Because the series haven't? or not depicted the false messiah character, then by default and its story line he's the imposter. It was a very subjective and politically oriented statement from that muslim women. The movie was excellent and it was not Dajjal as she wanted to perform. It was series written by Michael Peroni, I think very talently created and viewers are waiting for a second sesson.

I binged this show last weekend and was not surprised at how blind some people follow others. There are some out there that will convince you to stick your head in a fire, some people will oblige. You shold question everything and follow your gut. People are so gullable these days its a bit annoying. I know who God is to me and I know what it feels like no matter how many miracles I see. I dont think I will be led into any physical desert but I understand the meaning behind it. The show is really great I would recommend it.

Are we capable of saving ourselves or are we waiting for someone else to do it for us? Are we able to accept life and God's plan for us, with all its ups and downs? Do we understand the importance of living and the importance of death (regarding the afterlife)? Is religion teaching love? Are we connected by religion or separated by it? Are we ready to embrace and accept who we really are? He doesn't say he is the Messiah, he says he is what other people see in him. And some people see him as a savior, others see him as an Antichrist. That's the whole point of the show. To raise questions. It's up to us to find the answers.
The series is produced by people who are really Christians, one of the company is lightworkers, they actually are the ones that also worked with movie narnia which is actually a Christian movie but told in a different way. Talked to one of the actors (arab Muslim not mehdi) and he said the series is not about dajjal, the film is written as if jesus never existed and he came to earth on our time would people believe in him?
The good side of the film is that...muslims who don't know much about dajjal and the return of jesus pbuh, will go and make more research abt it and know more abt it.

The show is from a Jewish/Christian/Muslim perspective and it doesn’t really pick a side, I can’t speak for everyone but I feel that it is shot very well, a little predictable but also very realistic. The more you think about it, the show gets very real very fast when you can see as an audience member how so many people are fooled from so many different religions and cultures and it really does make you rethink how much you know your own faith.

Gents, I just need you to understand how clever was the script of this serie but you have to realize that this serie introduces the Antichrist not for satanic reasons but to show the process of his coming and his empowering, attracting followers and believers seeing him as Jesus Christ. You really need to see the complexity of the character and how the movie director worked around the duality of the messiah’s personality (taking some Buddha poses while sit in the jail, killing the dog instead of bringing it to life, giving hope to Palestinians coming from Syria and returning to Israel and suddenly abandoning them, giving hope to one sick girl who finally died of cancer). It is definitely a serie on the false prophet and it is a way to awaken asleep people who don’t have a clue of who this false messiah is and how he will seduce the world. The movie director announced that there won’t be a season 2 whereas the script was ready... lots of pressure coming from Israel and the Vatican....! This is obviously supposed to be a Christian take on the second coming. From what I see in the trailer it's giving the audience the question "Is this Christ or the AntiChrist?" via the "Will he Convert you? Will he Con you?". As they both will display the same "miracles" only those with true faith and understanding will discern the two. Western suspense thriller for sure. To that specific audience it should be interesting as long as people understand this is fictional in it's representation

But watching it a second in your reaction, I am thinking maybe the part where they said "convertyou" , "conyou" they are actually talking about this "messiah" being the dajal. Also why I think this cause later in the trailer they had false God written on the wall. If this had a more secular spin on it .. they wouldn't say it's a false God, they don't believe in God at all. I am interested to see how this series unfolds and the story line.. some writers and producers are well read, educated on different religious etc and this series (kinda hoping) may actually be about the dajal.. But they just titled it messiah to play in with that deception that the dajal will have where everyone will think he is the messiah, God etc..... Hope that makes sense.
People need to understand all these modern books that put all these individual documents of people into 1 like Quran and the holy Bible. NOT 1 book contains 100 percent of all the truth. So we take the truths from everything we seek and separate the bad. That's what is taught in scripture. Don't judge but we have a right to judge righteously.

I'm in the middle of this series and I quite like it. It is really interesting. I get the impression some people are afraid of thinking on their own. And how can you react to something you didn 't watch?

Although the movie is a mystery, I'm basing my opinion on the fact that one of its producers is Roma Downy, who played the angel Monica in the TV series, "Touched by an Angel." It sounds like The Christian Jesus who is God in the flesh and brings light to the world (John 1) is the Muslim anti-christ, while the Christian antichrist is the Muslim Jesus. Christian scriptures were written first and it says that the fake Jesus will get people who worship the real Jesus to be beheaded while the fake Jesus will lead people to worship the devil (the beast) as God. Ok I’m Christian and even in our Bible it talked about how in the end times many will call themselves the Messiah but they aren’t the real Messiah. I think the best part of this series is that it makes you think. As he says in the show that he is like a mirror, in that it is a reflection of yourself and your beliefs that you see. I like how it also links Judaism, Islam, Christianity in a realistic way. I appreciate how it rides a fine line between good and evil, right and wrong, miricle or coincidence so that you search within yourself not for answers to who he is, but instead who we are ourselves.

As far as I know the true Messiah only will come when the world in the middle of calamity, He will descend when the believer army was surrounded by the False Messiah's (AntiChrist) army. So before the True one there will be someone that try to deceive people by being imposter. Because the series haven't? or not depicted the false messiah character, then by default and its story line he's the imposter.

It was a very subjective and politically oriented statement from that muslim women. The movie was excellent and it was not Dajjal as she wanted to perform. It was series written by Michael Peroni, I think very talently created and viewers are waiting for a second sesson.

I binged this show last weekend and was not surprised at how blind some people follow others. There are some out there that will convince you to stick your head in a fire, some people will oblige. You shold question everything and follow your gut. People are so gullable these days its a bit annoying. I know who God is to me and I know what it feels like no matter how many miracles I see. I dont think I will be led into any physical desert but I understand the meaning behind it. The show is really great I would recommend it.

Are we capable of seeing the truth? Are we capable of saving ourselves or are we waiting for someone else to do it for us? Are we able to accept life and God's plan for us, with all its ups and downs? Do we understand the importance of living and the importance of death (regarding the afterlife)?
Is religion teaching love? Are we connected by religion or separated by it?
Are we ready to embrace and accept who we really are?
He doesn't say he is the Messiah, he says he is what other people see in him. And some people see him as a savior, others see him as an Antichrist.
That's the whole point of the show. To raise questions. It's up to us to find the answers.

The series is produced by people who are really Christians, one of the company is lightworkers, they actually are the ones that also worked with movie narnia which is actually a Christian movie but told in a different way. Talked to one of the actors (arab Muslim not mehdi) and he said the series is not about dajjal, the film is written as if jesus never existed and he came to earth on our time would people believe in him?

The show is from a Jewish/Christian/Muslim perspective and it doesn’t really pick a side, I can’t speak for everyone but I feel that it is shot very well, a little predictable but also very realistic. The more you think about it, the show gets very real very fast when you can see as an audience member how so many people are fooled from so many different religions and cultures and it really does make you rethink how much you know your own faith.
All this talk about the Anti-Christ made me realize one thing: what if Christ actually DOES return first, yet people will be so influenced by the scriptures that they'll automatically assume that he is the opposite, the Anti-Christ. Ouch.

Gents, I just need you to understand how clever was the script of this serie but you have to realize that this serie introduces the Antichrist not for satanic reasons but to show the process of his coming and his empowering, attracting followers and believers seeing him as Jesus Christ. You really need to see the complexity of the character and how the movie director worked around the duality of the messiah’s personality (taking some Buddha poses while sit in the jail, killing the dog instead of bringing it to life, giving hope to Palestinians coming from Syria and returning to Israel and suddenly abandoning them, giving hope to one sick girl who finally died of cancer). It is definitely a serie on the false prophet and it is a way to awaken asleep people who don’t have a clue of who this false messiah is and how he will seduce the world. This is obviously supposed to be a Christian take on the second coming. From what I see in the trailer it's giving the audience the question "Is this Christ or the AntiChrist?" via the "Will he Convert you? Will he Con you?". As they both will display the same "miracles" only those with true faith and understanding will discern the two. Western suspense thriller for sure. To that specific audience it should be interesting as long as people understand this is fictional in it's representation

Salam samantha, i watched the trailer once before and had the same interpretation as you. But watching it a second in your reaction, I am thinking maybe the part where they said "convertyou" , "conyou" they are actually talking about this "messiah" being the dajal. Also why I think this cause later in the trailer they had false God written on the wall. If this had a more secular spin on it .. they wouldn't say it's a false God, they don't believe in God at all.
I am interested to see how this series unfolds and the story line.. some writers and producers are well read, educated on different religious etc and this series (kinda hoping) may actually be about the dajal.. But they just titled it messiah to play in with that deception that the dajal will have where everyone will think he is the messiah, God etc.....
