I love thetipof oiling old kits before working on. I would have never thought of that! I also enjoyed how you made the hinges! Thank you!😄

You come up with some really good, original ideas! Who would have thought to use Legos! Making hinges from miniature clothespins...that was just brilliant.

Wow you have been busy Loy! I think if it's really dry I would do the oil before and after sanding just like you did. I think that way would help prevent breakages. The oil certainly makes it look lovely.
Also your timing is perfect, I just ordered a bedroom kit very like this and am waiting for it to arrive! I love the colour you used as it reminds me of vintage Scandanavian furniture...it's beautiful Loy.
I ordered some thin brass tubing and head pins to do something similar, hinge wise but watching you the thought occurred that I will have to be very careful cutting the tubing because I don't want it to be closed by the pressure of cutting...this may need a rethink...I do already have mini clothespegs so I may end up using your ideas in which case I would tag you for the idea if I upload pictures.

I have that same wallpaper with blue roses! It's vintage and I think it's so pretty. The armoire turned out so beautiful, wonderful job! Love the hinges. I think the older kits are wonderful, I really like them and it's fun building your own dollhouse furniture.

I agree, the older ones are scaled to the right proportions. At least for my house.

oh the trick with gluing something while holding it in between legos or other bricks is so good! I always struggle with keeping things perpendicular :)

Thankyou for thinking out side of the box by using lego as a jig for glueing and making square corners. I have been using lego ever since I first saw you do it.

I don't think that's fair, she does a lot to try to get her ideas across a few ads aren't that much of a hardship if they help her channel.
