- The Alabama Football team traveled to Madison, Wisconsin to play the Badgers Saturday and dominated in a 42-10 victory. Mick Gillispie and Chad Anderson breakdown the biggest plays in the contest. Examine the performances of Jalen Miloe and Ryan Williams on offense and LT Overton on Defense among others who played a huge role in the game. The guys give their weekly game balls and more.

Those guys looked great. No one should be criticizing Milroe. Most who do couldn’t run 1 mile without taking a break much less do all he does under pressure. He is an amazing human as well.
Can you explain the amazing human being part? Does he use his NIL money to run a non profit charity, is he volunteering at the local soup kitchen? Does he go to nursing homes and read to old people? I always see this amazing human being part. Can you explain that?

I’m a 50+ year Bama fan and I have to say gentleman talking about Wisconsin having an identity crisis. Bama is right there too. They want to have a pocket passer distribute the ball I can point guard and have these big running backs that they’re going to hand the ball off to, and then they let the quarterback run the ball. I was some really talented. Running back coming out of high school. I don’t know if I would go to Alabama. They don’t feature you. They don’t promote you. They don’t hand the ball off to you. Bama used to win games by punishing teams with running Henry back like him demoralizing and destroying teams and then when the team cheated up to stop the run, throwing the ball all the top to Williams and metchie

Getting Milroe into the endzone is great, obviously. But not getting him injured before he gets there is a concern. We need him ALL SEASON to get where we ultimately want to go. If you decide to use him as a regular part of your running game, you'd better be prepared to go with Ty Simpson if/when he gets hurt. What happened to Richard Young could easily happen to Jalen Milroe if you use him as a runner.
If Saban was the coach, Williams would be riding the bench until he learned how to run block. Same as ever other receiver under Saban.

Georgia struggled and Georgia also lost their guard that has started 31 straight games! Georgia will be ready to play in 2 weeks! I can't wait for the Tide to Roll!!
Tommy Rees didn’t run milroe early because teams stacked the box. Plus we didn’t have a viable backup. so he developed milroe as a passer first. Texas A&M ran a bear front against bama because they didn’t respect milroe as a passer. Yet milroe beat them with his arm. Against LSU they ran milroe because LSU had 2 safeties back to prevent the big play. It’s a numbers game fellas. RTR
Saban was willing to change his coaching with the time or he would not have had Lane Kiffing at Bama. He took a big chance with Kiffin but it worked out.

His issue is kind of like the Wisconsin quarterback, one hit and you’re done. Give the ball to the running backs to run the ball. You worry about passing the ball and distributing the ball to whoever supposed to get it. I love Milroe he’s very talented but he’s one hit away from being done for the year.
Just imagine if Melro tried to model himself after Penix and was a pocket passer and handed the ball off to his running back to let’s say that Wisconsin Haynes would’ve had 85 yards and Miller would’ve had 120 yards. And then passed ball where Ryan Williams would have 100 yards receiving and Law would have 75 yards and Bernard would have 100 yards. It would be amazing. I love that we won and I love Mel Rowe as an athlete, but he needs to be smarter. And Deboer needs to be smarter and use him properly.

you are wrong, saban brought the talent to Bama and helped to make them great, And Ryan Williams hasnt had the chance to screw up since he hasnt receive the ball very often, I think that Saban if he was still at Bama coaching that he would have found Williams, the people that transfers is okay with me, they wont get the spotlight wherever they go. When our new coach wins six national chamipionship then I might think what the new coaching is doing is better. Milroe is at Bama because of Saban and just about everyone else came to Bama just because of our winning ways.

Catfish said it best. They were only 17 passes thrown and ran the ball 14 times. The receivers and the running backs should be getting pissed off that they’re not actually getting the ball.

You two are full of crap. The reason they didn't run Milroe much last year is because Milroe didn't want to do it. Saban told Milroe to run designed runs. Deboer put it to him in a MATTER OF FACT way or he was sitting.
