I had radel tanpura since 2014 which got faulty few months back after which I started using phone or TH-cam tanpura which weren't letting me reach perfect pitch on flute. I came to know about this fact only today after I got new tanpura and practiced with it. My god..I don't know why it is so but I was so in mood due to pitch matching that I practiced more than usual. All thanks to you 🙏

Sir, my laya is developed almost up to my satisfaction.... But incase of playing instrument i find it too much difficult to keep track on sam and khali.... I am used to to keep the measure of taal count in hand and quite accustomed to it while singing, but while playing instruments engaging both hands it is not possible.... Will u please say something in this context
Obviously😁😁.... but what should be the though process? 😛😛, i visualise the taal like a ball which drops with changing height with sam and khali and superpose the swaras in curve on them.... but it is quite difficult to get out of the fixed gat and improvise.... 😅😅

For people like me trying film songs, we need some 12-15 flutes . Costs big money. I am an amateur, learner. I buy from shops by verifying each note with a tuner app on mobile. Most times, some one in 10 is of almost right scale.
@@suvinvishwanathan825 thanks. 1. I cant play carnatic style 8 holes flute. 2. Need atleast C,C#, D, D#, E, F, F# EBass, FBass F#bass G. With these, and some transpose fingering we can manage. Second thoughts on buying expensive flutes because its passion and not profession for me.

Sir, I have a problem with understanding of Tanpura.. I mean, i know it plays Pa, Sa, Sa, Sa in four strings. But these are my problems. 1. how to match these PSSs of tanpura with your raag.. like if I am playing Bhupali, then vadi and samvadi are Ga and Dha.. and tanpura is Pa and Sa.... so where will they meet.. 2. What pitch of Tanpura will be selected in Tanpura droid app and which first string will be selected. Will it need to be changed if I am changing the bansuri from scale A base to G base. There are very less videos on tanpura concept with bansuri. please make a video on that..

Ashwin ji what note plays when we half open the 'Ni' finger. Is it komal Sa.. which is theoretically not possible. So what should we call that note?
You don’t have to call that note anything if you don’t play that note :) because that doesn’t exist. :):)
