Hi Guys,
Ok it’s a long one but I wanted to go into details about the resort of Port Des Torrent Ibiza. It many be a relatively small resort but Port des Torrent has a lot to offer.
Based 10km outside of San Antonio - Port des Torrent is home to a wide variety of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort is also the home of the Hotel Aura and the Hotel Seaview - boasting its own 4500square meter water park.
One of the main highlights of the resort has to be Port des Torrent Beach - a beautiful stretch of sand with a handful of fantastic restaurants - one of which I try in the is Vlog.

Have stayed in port des torrent many many times since 1987, our children
and now our grandchildren have also stayed there, last week(2-8 Oct) we stayed in the bay and done the walk to port des torrent with a refreshment stop near playa Bella.
Had lovely tapas in Leonie's (still Paco's to us) we tend to come low season now we are older
(May & Oct)
We loved the Orion cafe bar, Liz's supermarket, Carlos and his water sports, partaking in paracending for my 60th, also the cascadas at la hacienda, I could go on, as you can see we love the port des torrent side of Ibiza.
Loved the blog.
sadly things move on,
we now see a different Ibiza but still need our fix at least once a year.
Thanks Lynn. I would have loved to see it in the 60/70s I understand just a first track road and access by the boats from San Antonio! Chicken wings and chicken satay in Leonies are some of the best :) Paco occasionally visits :)

Went to the Occidental last may and watched your videos before we went and they were really helpful! Loved leonys went in there a good few times, didn’t realise you could go into some of the other hotels restaurants! Thank you, we’re back again this may to the same hotel we loved it that much such a gem in the more chilled side to Ibiza

Great vlog Nick. We love Port Des Torrent, and come 3 times a year for the last 20 years. Many changes during that time, some good, some not, but for a relaxing time, you can’t beat it. Good to meet you on the beach in September, after following your vlogs all through Lockdown.

Yes a very frequent service and you could always get the bus one way and the water taxi back

Not been to Ibiza since before lockdown, the restaurant on the beach was really decent, upmarket food, great music/DJs and fire/dance shows on the beach at night.
I have stayed at the sea view and club Aura a few times when my kids were young, great for the kids, the big one with the water park is quite expensive and rooms very small.
Has a fantastic adults only sunset bar, possibly a better view than Mambo, and has a little adults only nightclub in the basement.
Port des Torrent is a great place to stay and catching a water taxi over to San An is a lovely way to start a big night out.
I remember that basement nightclub well - Nautilus (I think) spent many a night in there when i was a holiday rep

Stayed at Aura, 8 yrs ago this week. Have booked Sea View for end of Aug. Great vlog. I can't wait to explore the other side of the beach and a bit further afield, now the kids are older

@@jemilyg2729 Hi- yes my two suggestions would be "Tapas" in San Antonio and also "La Bodega" in Ibiza Town
Stayed at the sea view many years ago , really enjoyed it , lovely hotel , looking forward to returning and staying there again at some point , love Ibiza

A great video, helped me get my bearings. There in a couple of weeks at occidental. Whats the quickest way to walk to the bars near Kumharas, is down past the water park?
I'm happy the video helped... I hope not too late but yes that's the best way (perhaps 5 mins longer than another route but far more scenic)
Great vlog as always 👌 Stayed at the seaview about 6 times now over recent years. Love port des torrent and the Beach bars and Kumharas. Look forward to seeing it again next year 👍

I would compare Port Des Torrent to Cala Llonga / A small Es Cana (very family friendly area!

Great video . We have just booked the seaview for early October, can’t wait . We last came to Ibiza in 2016 but stayed in port San Miguel, was beautiful. We got the bus to the water park at seaview for the aftn and always said we’d come back . Is there anywhere in the area that has trampolines for kids ? Thanks

quiet place, very different from san antonio cala vadella might also be nice to see it in your vlogs
For sure Port des Torrent is much quieter San An - easily connected by boat and bus if your
Need to move between the two! Cala Vedella is a good call
i never been in this area .. quit very beautiful … most of the time ím at Playa den bossa …

Hi nick, kumaras is superb, like early days del mar. Met Paco Fernandez there after a great sunset set in the early days and we're still amigos. Be aware the cocktails are not what they were in the early days. Stick to beer or wine

I think this might be too late but a 15 min walk :) Did you make it out to Ibiza?
Is it easy to get to Ibiza town from port des torrent?
It is a case of two buses - Ibiza Town >> San Antonio and the the bus to Port des Torrent. Another way is to take the bus to San Antonio and then hop on the water taxi across the bay
