Sorry this video is a bit late this week. I had a fiasco of a time trying to edit the home tour I filmed. (It was like editing the blairwitch project x.x). I hope you like the fall wreath I made! It was so nice to just do a craft project and not have to tackle an issue. It was a super easy but super fun project to do! Our front porch is starting to come together! I'll be sharing our full fall front porch makeover when I get it all done.

That’s a beautiful wreath sadly here in the UK we do not have the foliage you have there in the states especially the autumn stuff, even online it’s more sporadic

Did you say where you got the welcome sign not used? I read the description but I dont think it was in there. I want make something similar with the welcome sign because I think it will be a nice contrast with my burgundy/ red-ish front door.
This would definitely be at least a $60 wreath (probably closer to $80) if bought in stores.
I actually made the welcome sign myself 😊 But it’s one of those projects I never filmed! I’m sorry! I have a project coming out this Saturday that is similar to how I did that one, but on a much bigger scale, if that would help!

Your wreath looks gorgeous and lots of fun to make! One request tho you are usually so frugal on the DIY ideas which is wonderful, unless you got awesome sale items Michaels is pricey, can you include how much you spent on your items?please?
I had some stuff on hand from previous projects, but for all the new stuff I spent about $35ish for everything including the thankful sign. I wasn’t super frugal on this project, because I just wanted to have a big statement piece (and a really full wreath). I made a $6 wreath last year from dollar tree items, if you were looking for a more frugal option 😊 Hope that helps!

We do get the seasons but nearly as predominant in colour like you do, but we certainly don’t have the craft supplies you do...or access to them and shipping costs are ginormous from the States...😞🇦🇺

I made a wreath with gorgeous fall foliage one year and hung it on my front door. It rained and the leaves coloring bled.....my front door looked a slaughterhouse!! I check for colorfastness now! 😂😂😂(I had to repaint my front door!) 😳
😳😳😳 oh man!!! That’s both hilarious and awful all at the same time!!! Now I’m real concerned about checking for color fastness... it is covered under a porch so I think/hope it’ll be okay... 😳
The DIY Cottage yours should be fine under a covered porch....mine however was not. Lol I can definitely laugh about it now, but I was a little miffed when it happened cause painting the door was not on my “to do” list. 😂😂😂

LOL Posted on the wrong youtube. DOH on me. This is off topic. I want to do some chalk paint on fabric furniture. Have you ever used the polycrylic sealer on top of chalk paint on fabric? I have been looking all over and not finding anything on it only on the wood pieces. I do not really want to wax. And have to keep waxing. Thanks so much for your thoughts. Sorry to butt into this other video to ask but it is the most current one I could find to hopefully catch up to you.
Hey! I actually have never used chalk paint on fabric or polycrylic. But I imagine it would make the fabric really stiff because it’s like a resin almost... I’m not sure what would be a better alternative though... 🤔 So sorry I couldn’t be more helpful...
