I love how everyone starting to hate Sunday when it was Aventurine who wanted to scam him first. Not hating on Aventurine since i like his story so far but its just funny how people potray him as hero and sunday as a villain while in reality those two are just two guys having opposition with each other and try to manipulate each other.
I get what you mean but Sunday, in the end went down the 'I need a servant as well' road implying he is no less of a racist duck than the rest of the 'villains' we are calling so. He really didn't have to go that far, given Aven's Sigonian origins, no?

He never care too much about his background unlike sparkle (though she did that to annoy him), he consider him as an enemy since he is working with the IPC (IPC wanted to reclaim the stone the family posses while also try to reclaim penacony itself if its possible), and he is someone that very hard to be trusted, ofc he is wary of him in anyways (given how aventurine rarely telling the truth and sometimes lies) but still he didnt outright murder him but try to make him at least cant betray or plotting against him (aventurine would be fine if he telling the truth about the last question) since its kinda makes sense because Sunday literally has no one in his side, the only person who is on his side is his sister but now she is dead, the family he is leading are plotting something against him. He can only relied on himself dealing all the problem in penacony and finding the murderer of his sister. So in conclusion like i previously said that both of them are just people who have their own agenda and try to manipulate each other, its just happen that Sunday end up win the mind game for now.
I honestly don’t understand why everyone sees this scene as a proof that sunday is solely evil or an antagonist. in this situation he’s just as much under pressure as aventurine (the documents on his table reveal the other family members want him to proceed with the festival even though his sister got murdered). he isn’t good either he is a leader yet he gets his own selfish desires and the things which are for the greater good mixed. he forced aventurine to speak about his origins as a sick powerplay but sunday probably couldn’t care less where aventurine is actually from it’s just a means to an end. with his conversation with gallagher we can see that he was just as desperate as everyone else in penacony’s current situation and aventurine knew that as well and played into it. both of them tried to manipulate each other aventurine using robin’s death and sunday using aventurine’s background
You just gave him reason for what he did, not excuses. I get he is extremely stressed and wants to find his sister's killer, but that doesn't make the mental torture/brainwashing okay

I have this feeling the real MC and heroine of penacony arc not TB and Firefly but Aventurine and Robin. The plot progress revolving around those two, TB more like executor here.

They came from crime related planet ( penacony used to be prison and Sigonian are bunch of schemers). They both see as jewel by their people. Sunday see Robin as pride and Aven sister see Aven as hope Both of them are also subject of control and imprisonment.

People forget that every faction, except the Astral Express, is Penacony's antagonists. All of them are competing for the Watchmaker's Legacy. Plus, Aventurine is hardly a saint despite his sense of popularity.

From what we now know Aventurine is “free.” He severed all ties from the IPC (one of his wishes cuz they enslaved him) but it’s not clear whether he’s dead or just MIA. Since his Aventurine Stone lost it’s light, I don’t know if that means the owner is dead or simply away from it but Jade did say he finally got what he wished for (death probably)
Each of the 10 stonehearts posses a corner stone it given to them by "Diamond" who's one of the 2 emanators of preservation in the IPC. That would make the stonehearts as Pseudo-emanators.
